And Crow reveals that he's not as completely useless in battle as he claims to be XD

Do with that post what you will~

It's been about two weeks since your last post. I'm assuming life has you busy at the moment? You can let me know if you lost interest though. If you did, I'd be willing to start up another RP with you :)

Gah sorry I kinda forgot to check my subs as of late! And I haven't lost interest though I do feel like perhaps I should change Penelope's character a bit but I'll wait and see for a little while. I just feel like I put too may restrictions on her personality.

I can see how you might think that, but you don't have to completely change her :) I feel like part of the fun in an RP is the character development, and since it's still so early in the story you have plenty of wiggle room to build on her personality.

I actually use a little trick to build the characters in my stories, if you're interested in hearing it XD I've only shared this with one other person, so feel special~

When making my characters, I choose one positive trait and one negative trait and build the skeleton around them. It helps me make a foundation to develop them into more complex or even totally different personas. For example: here are Crow's main traits.

Positive: Carefree nature (i.e: fairly calm temperament and optimistic attitude)
Negative: Pride/Arrogance (i.e: bragging and condescending/sarcastic remarks)

The combination makes him seem extremely childish even though he's really quite clever, which makes him fun to write about XD Anyway, I use these basic concepts as the foundation for his personality and build on them as I go, adding or removing smaller traits depending on the direction of the story and his reactions to different situations, but keeping the underlying base for his character. I don't know if my method works for everyone, but it can definitely be helpful if you want to add some fun character development into the story :)

Yeah I won't completely change her. I just figured that I should loosen her up slightly so character development for her would progress a little more smoothly.

Yay special cx

I like that method though! It seems pretty effective from what I can tell, though I'm not sure how well it would work for me. I'll definetly give it a shot for future characters of mine. Thank you!

You're welcome! :3

And yeah, I can understand that. Maybe she could have a sense of humor, but hides it to seem more intimidating? XD I'm interested to see what you come up with

That makes me happy X3 I love it when I can entertain people with my characters!

I think it'll be fun with both Crow and Penelope playing at different angles XD I could totally see them faking an attraction for each other until it becomes real, and then they're both just like: "Whoa, when did that happen?"

I felt like it was necessary to move on to when they reached the town in my last post. Hopefully that's ok? ^^'

Oh so I had this idea randomly that maybe there's some guy/girl that starts to target them at the inn because they want to know what's going on and such. They can tick off Penelope in some way and she ends up teaming up with Crow(likely through bribery of food.) to find out who this person is and what they are hiding.

I figured the person could be a spy for the other kingdom and maybe they plan on trying to stop our characters in order to gain favor in their kingdom?

I like that idea :)
I don't think it could be someone from the other kingdom because they could just report them to their king and stop their plans.
What if instead its someone native who heard about their mission, but he/she doesn't want their kingdom and Younis to be joined together?

EDIT: I love how Penelope totally ruined Crow's attempt to mess with her XD

So for context in my next post: is the woman who attacked them alone or are there others? Also, does she only have a blade pointed at Penelope or is she targeting Crow, too?

It's up to you if she is alone or not. I can work with both ways and it's only pointed at Penelope for now.
