Yeah I was thinking that or he heard something (like an animal or something) thought it might be an enemy but when no one attacked, figured that Penelope and Crow might have ran into them and decided to go see if they were alright cx

EDIT (because I hit the button too fast XD) : I figure he'll pop up soon so I can do it in my next one or feel free to have him show up in yours c: whichever works lol

This one reminds me of both Crow and Penelope's mentality about their situation as it is right now, but more so Penelope because she's expecting her whole life to change when they get back
