Also for when Gavin backtracks to follow Crow, are you thinking that he goes to the spot where Crow and Penelope usually meet since he could guess that the thieves' camp is around there and catches Crow leaving to meet with Jaxon? Or just happens to find them after scouring the forest for a little while?

I think the first idea makes the most sense. Crow would have to walk past the clearing where Gavin's seen them meet to get to the place where he said he would meet Jaxon

I don't think Penelope will do much better cx she may have fought a couple times with Gavin in the past but I doubt it was anything overly big since Gavin's pretty quick to give in to her lol

I decided to switch to Gavin's perspective right now since Penelope's just going to be trying to find her brother and friends cx honestly it was pretty fun to go into his perspective and it's only been one post so far lol

Also are you thinking that Gavin should over hear any of the conversation or not? I was thinking he would likely try to get close enough to hear bits of it but I wanted to run it by you how much he should know cx I figure maybe hearing a bit about Jaxon willing to kill him, them avoiding killing Penelope (he'll likely think just because she's valuable for information) and then them meeting in a week?

Also, quick background note: Jaxon never actually travels alone (he's always got bodyguards hidden nearby in case something goes wrong) and one of them noticed Gavin and Crow's conversation, so Jaxon maaay send an assassin a few days later to try and off the knight
