[OOC] Obsolete Angels

I love this character as well. I can tell you've put a lot of thought and effort into it, and his story is one I look forward to coninueing ^^ However, given his age up against present day [He would have lived through it himself], I would think that he might have some thoughts about the Rebellion against the angels, Cyborgels, Mechangels, and Desium Corp, etc, seeing as they're everywhere. Do you think you'd like to tack something onto your background or just share with me his thoughts? I should also mention that this is far into the future as it states above. You say in his likes that he has a passion for 70's muscle cars. Nothing wrong with it, but I just felt it needed to be pointed out. He must really take amazing care of those cars because if it were from 1970 it would be a complete rustbucket under normal hands. (Of course he could always recreate them and have an appreciation for 70's muscle car aesthetic, that would be fine too!)

Do you mean like having one that was in the medical profession? If that's what you're asking, then definitely! I even have one in the examples under Character Types-Cyborgels.

Name: Kimaris Gender: Male Character Type: Demon Appearance: In his human disguise, Kimaris (or simply Kim) comes across as a grumpy individual from appearance alone, but his face simply happens to have a frowning disposition, and his calm and controlled nature results in him rarely going beyond his 'default' expression. Kim has a subtle build, at first appearing rather unpowerful, but actually being anything but. Career: Executive Office Official (Inner Circle) Skills: Even without the abilities granted to him by his demonic state of being, Kimaris is an unrivalled warrior among the Host and demonic brethren. As well as having unending amounts of talent in matters of conflict, he is also very good at passing these skills down to his students. In stark contrast to this, he is a master of grammar, logic and rhetoric, and the matter of teaching these fields. Supernatural Abilities:

• Supernatural Condition: A blanket power covering Kimaris' superior physical capabilities, including senses. His strength, speed and durability dwarfs that of a humans by immeasurable leagues, capable of shrugging off standard bullet fire like rain and breaking bones in a single, half-hearted blow. In reality, it requires an entity on level with the most powerful angels to combat him on an even battlefield.
• Flight: It's on the tin. Although Kimaris does have wings, they are simply for show. His flight is achieved through a form of limited telekinesis.
• Black Steed: Kimaris' mount is more of a spiritual entity than an actual horse; an impenetrable black smog which takes the vague shape of a horse, charging at speeds even greater than what Kimaris' himself is capable of at a consistent rate. Rarely sees use.

Personality: Reclusive warrior with smarts & hoarding. Bio: Marquis Kimaris earned his bit of Hell through unmatched fury and martial strength. All those that stood before Kimaris were swiftly crushed - but only if they stood before him. He was a solitary entity which only desired to have his own land to be solitary within, having no qualms against removing any who intended to disturb. Over time, he became recognized by those lesser and greater than himself as a being of note, even being integrated into the loose 'system' which eventually took root in hell as a Marquis with 20 legions of lesser demons under his rule, although through their own wish to be ruled by him. Unknown to most of his brethren, Kimaris is quite the book worm. Part of the reason he is such a solitary entity is because of this, prefering to be left alone to study the vocations of rhetoric and logic. His skill as a warrior and a virtual force of nature in combat are the reasons he is valued, and as such he is only called upon for those talents - something Kimaris finds himself growing increasingly discontent with. Even in the days before Earth's meant-to-be destruction, he was made to teach countless humans how to fight like himself, a demon, with gun, sword, fist and bone should it be required. When his former brothers and sisters of the host arrived, they found not only armed mortals, but a 'godly warrior' demon ready to strike them down. Even through the brainwashing and memory loss, some Cyborgels may have the vague image of Kimaris burnt into their mind. Marquis Kimaris retains high prestige among his brothers and sisters in the New Society, kept close by the 'Inner Circle' but not treated as one of them. He is their shield against incursion, mentor of their finest agents and nothing else. However, Kimaris' loyalty could be in question. For all the efforts the New Society went through in creating this order, did the warrior lord truly care for any of it? If a new alternative were to present its self, who is to say he would not work against them like he worked against the Host? I'll probably add something in tomorrow. Yeah haha even if he did get one of the 70s cars he'd have to be a billionaire conisdering the price they would cost. It's more just an appreciation and sort of recreation type of deal really. At what age would you say my character would have to be at the time of the start of the revolution?

I feel like I need to explain this better. Angels had their own, nonphysical roles on earth before it needed to be destroyed, similar to the roles we know now. Angels that could control elements protected humans from demons that wished them harm; the 'sword' essentially. Angels that can control Aura were there when miracles needed to happen [cure 'incurable' diseases, help humans who would never do 'xyz' again do 'xyz' again] or to ease others in pain, suffering losses, dying, etc; and, on the smaller spectrum, give the hopeless hope; they're the miracle workers. Angels that could fly are there for deliverance [to a souls final resting place], observation and quick defense against the demons or other bad juju, but are not much for fighting, at least not like the element wielders. They are the shield. To put it in terms that are similar to lore you may or may not know, it could be put like this: Cherubims-Aura Angels, Halo only Guardian Angels-Winged Angels, Wings only Seraphim-Element controling angels, Holy Robes only They don't conform entirely to those roles going by lore, but in terms of fighting capability and strength, that would be the rank they could go by just to make things easier to understand. Now, when all the Angels came to earth, it would be absolutely necessary for all three types to be present come Earths destruction. You're pretty smart, do you think you can piece together exactly why that's so? @Art of Fun I'm not ignoring you, I swear, I'll get to you in a moment x-x

I love the multi-faceted-ness of him! I notice you bring up 'The Host' a little. What do you refer to when you say that?

I'm going to be completely honest and say that I am not as smart as you think I am. I'm a high school student with a really bad cold right now, so do you mind explaining how exactly they come together in Earth's destruction? I'm slightly confused on that part. And I'm editing my CS again for the bio portion... I really hope this doesn't sound rude. In my head, I'm reading it in a monotone voice... It isn't supposed to be rude if it comes off as rude.

Just to have a go at it: Cherubims to heal people when the earth gets fucked over. Guardian angels for divine transportation out of the eventual hell-hole. Seraphim angels to assist in the physical devastation of the earth. -sigh- I feel like I'm in school. Yknow, those kind of questions which you think you perhaps know the answers to, but end up getting them wrong. EDIT: On the bright side, do i get brownie points for trying? Ha-ha.

No, you're exactly right!!! You get a cookie Edit-- Well, almost exactly right, just slightly different. Cherubims to ease their suffering as they perish so that they would go painlessly (takes many cherubims to do on such a large scale, same for the others) Guardians to, yes, escort the souls to where they need to be. And Seraphims to indeed, be the ones that destroy the actual earth. All of them had a very important role to play in the destruction of earth, which is why all three were necessary.

On another note, looking at the array of characters presented to us as of this moment, would you like to specifically request a character type from me? I wouldn't want too many revolutionaries, etc, if i can help it. Besides, my timezone sucks so although I was one of the first to post, im gonna be the last to submit a CS XD
