"Emerald!" Eliza screams. "Hurry up! We're going to be late!" Snowflakes begin to flutter around Eliza, something that happens when she is irritated or upset. She sits waiting outside of her house when her extremely slow twin sister finally walks out. She growls under her breath and says, "Thanks for waiting until I was eighty to come out."
Emerald doesn't say anything, but on the inside, she is fuming with her sister. Her sister was only a minute older than her and Eliza treated her as if she was eight years younger that she was. "I'm sorry, I was just finishing packing," she says. Eliza rolls her eyes and grips her sisters are, launching both of them into the air with two quick strokes of her wings. Considering the fact that they are both part fairy, they both have really light bones, which are made for flight.
It takes them only a few minutes to get to the school. They land easily on the sidewalk outside, directly in between two guys sitting on a bench and a woman sitting on another bench. Emerald immediately stalks away, going to find a nice, quiet place to read her book. She sits down behind the tree that a grey tabby is under and opens up her book, beginning to read.
Eliza, on the other hand, rolls her eyes and walks away from her sister, heading into an open area on the grass. She begins to practice her magic there, creating and evaporating different icy structures.
