Lance was at his post at the front gate when a crashing sound was heard near a group of houses Lance trusting his gut moved over to the are to see what was going on once there he saw a cloaked figure turning the corner seeing the damage that was likely his doing lance began to jog in his armour and shouted at the figure (Darren) "hey you stop right there!"

Darren turned behind and saw a different knight shouting "Hey you stop right there!". Darren sped up and wall ran for about two seconds before leaping up to the thatched roof of the house across the alleyway. "You'll have to catch me first!" Darren yelled back as he clambered over and ran again. This was when Darren was in his element, on the run with everyway being a pathway instead of a blockade. Darren leapt across the ground below him, rolling forward as he landed on the next house with ease.

Hiroki, hearing the big collision, quickly turned around, spotting the thief that he had been searching for, he says "Oi, hold it right there". Hiroki then called all knights to block the city entrance and places where the theif may be able to escape. Hiroki then started to run after him, it was then that he came accross an archer shop, Hiroki weren't particularly good with bows, but he's had a little training in the past before he became a knight on how to use a bow and arrow, so Hiroki quickly grabbed one bow and one arrow. He then thought to himself "This might come in handy, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get him or not, but it's worth a try, and I only have one shot at this." So Hiroki quickly got back on his feet, and with full motion, concentration and power he shot the bow...but he missed! However as he was chasing him, he came up with a very clever plan, he decided to ambush him, using Lance as bait.

Darren kept running along the rooftops, hearing an arrow whizz pass, making him flinch a little, Darren noticed a bell tower in the middle of town and decided to run that way.

Lance kept chasing the thief and almost lost him several times during his getaway but once he saw him running towards a bell tower "I said Halt now!."

"No chance buddy!" Darren called back to the knight, still running across the rooftops. Darren saw a wide street in front, but was a shortcut to the bell tower. Darren would have to get to street level but that would slow him down, letting all of the knights catch up. He couldn't afford that, but he had no choice. Darren nimbly crept down the house he was on and made a beeline down the street, slipping and shoving his way in between civilians, all worried and alarmed that a teenage thief was running from knights again but Darren didn't care, to him this was fun.

"yes ma'am" Clarity said softly and took it slowly but as soon as she held it in her hands she stuffed it in her mouth, She looked over to where the thief guy was running about. She didn't like guards nor do gooders so she focused on him and soon the boy turned invisible, She would smirk and look up at Duvessa with an innocent smile and sigh.

Duvessa smiled at the little girl and said in a soft voice "where did you learn magic?" She was honestly curious and, by the looks of what she did, Duvessa could use an apprentice that strong. She could teach the girl how to strengthen and tone her abilities, but it was a choice the girl had to make. No bribery or giant promises. Just a woman able to help.

Darren was dashing in between the citizens when he looked felt... weird. Like his body was changing but lo and behold, he looked at his hands and they were gone! Darren stopped in his tracks and turned left and right in panic but it seemed no one noticed him. It came to his attention he was completely invisible for some reason or another so Darren used this to his advantage. He scaled a house using the window panes and other ledges to use as foot holds and hand grips. He looked around and spotted the little girl and the woman again, he knew they were magic and realised it might have been their doing, he'll thank them when he can find them again.

Clarity Smiled at her and kind of pouted then glared at the windw where the boy is, She could see him and put her hands on her hips "Dont you dare steal anythig mr! Not while My spell is on you!" She looked over at Duvessa with a sad expresion and began to sniffle as she thought about her grandma and her mother. Her question was nearly unbareable but she really wanted to learn more "Its been passed down by each generation in my family.. We are from Salem but moved here because not many peope know about witches" She said and the clouds in the sky darkened with every word she said and a thunder clap could be heard with each sob, Her eyes began to water and it suddenly started to rain.

Duvessa's heart sank to her stomach as the little girl started to cry, as well as make it rain. She kneeled down so her and the girl were the same height, wrapping her arms around the girl and hugging her lightly. She said "well, you are a strong one; I'll give you that. Your mother and grandmother are very proud of you, as am I." She thought for a moment of how to word it before saying "I would like to take care of you, if you'd give me that honor. Maybe even teach you how to control and master your abilities a bit better. I have lived a long enough life and I've learned enough in that life to teach such a powerful, strong, and beautiful girl. If you'd allow me, that is." She wanted to make sure the child felt that she was being spoken to as an adult.

Darren heard the little girl call to him about not stealing. Darren decided to go to them after he was sure the guards had cleared out. Darren hopped over the houses towards them and clambered down the house closest to them. He looked at the two hugging and decided to pipe up. "Hey umm, thank you for making me invisible." Darren said to the little girl. After the spell wore off he went to Duvessa. "Hey I'm sorry about my... 'arrogance' I suppose from earlier. This kid is incredible, I want to help!" Darren offered. "No tricks, no nothing. Now I don't know about magic but I can get you things promptly with no cost. I have sources I can get some equipment from." Darren explained. "I know some don't see thievery as a honourable thing but if you would give me the moment ma'am, I'm sure I could explain and do the way I was taught. The right way."

Duvessa slowly released the girl and looked up at the thief. He was apologizing? This was a strange concept to Duvessa, as no one cared about apologizing to a witch. She smiled at the courage this boy seemed to have. It wasn't everyday a male swallowed his pride and apologized. She looked down at the little girl and said to the thief "it is not my decision on whether you may join her side, as I am asking the same thing from her." She looked up at the thief and gave him a crooked smile. "Though I do thank you for your apology. It is quite brave of you especially since you know of who and what I am."

She looked back at the little girl and saw so much of herself in the girl that it scared Duvessa slightly. She wanted the girl to have what Duvessa couldn't: a family, a loving life. She was not to have it because she was already of age to start her own family, but she could help this girl and maybe start her own ragtag family herself. Duvessa lifted her cloak to cover the little girl from the rain the girl started, already feeling protective of her.

Noah was angry he had been chasing a thief and was nearing to capture him before he just vanished people didn't just disappear a witch must have been helping him but why? Normally the just stayed away from everyone else, he called over some guards and ordered them to search the area for the thief before sighing and returning to his post.

Clarity smmiled at the two "If you two can get along together.. then sure id Loooove fri- .. err family" her redish Orange eyes were tierd and clammy from the tears she had high hopes of the idea of this family thing, but had doubts as well "So your the parents? or siblings?" She asked with a giggle and small sqeek. They wouldn't ..spank me .. would they? Her eyes widened at the thought and she shook her heaad softly as if that would make the thought go away.

Darren chuckled at the little girl's question. He crouched down to her level and rubbed her hair a little. "We'll see shall we?" He said with a smile. "So..." He began turning to Duvessa while standing up. "What's the first thing we need? Books? A place? Name it." Darren asked, folding his arms. He was looking forward to what awaited the new trio.

Duvessa smiled softly before standing up from her kneeling position. She thought for a moment, looking at the two. She noticed how tired the little girl was and Duvessa looked at the boy. "We need a place to stay, most likely, and" she looked over at Clarity "you need to bathe." A smile appeared on her lips before looking back at the young man. "We also need to introduce ourselves, seeing as I do not know your name."

"Ah right, probably sensible. My name is Darren. Come, we can talk and walk." Darren said as he turned and walked down the street. He peered left and right for guards until he deemed it safe to walk down. He signalled the two to come to him as he set of down the street, keeping close by. "We can stay at my Order's location. Don't worry, it's not dingy or scary." Darren joked.

Duvessa rolled her eyes and smirked. She wasn't afraid of dingy and dark. That was what she had to live in ever since she was just a small girl making toads levitate. All of her fondest memories involved magic and her craft. She wondered if she could give this little girl that same feeling...

Clarity smiled "Dingy? Iv lived in the swamp land for far too long to be afraid of dingy" She said in a marter of fact voice and giggled softly. she loved the dark and actually felt it easier to do magic whilst in the dark.
