Merlin gathered his clipboard and pen and walked out of the massive mansion and onto the sweeping greens of the front lawn. There was little other than classic Victorian architecture and french styled gardens all around him.The place had been used several times as a film location. A part of its many layer colors. What no actor, actress, director, or set designer knew was this house wasn't just a pretty face. It was home to the most secretive spy organization in the world. The Kingsmen. Outdoing the CIA in black ops, fighting against corruption in MI5, and keeping the KGB honest. These are the types of things Kingsmen do.
This job does have risk. And it is in that risk that leads to why Merlin was outside with his clipboard. Under the laws and oaths of the organization the only people who may leave the organization are by way of death or advanced injury. This has allowed the Kingsmen to remain a secret to the world. When a Kingsmen dies another of his generations knights are given his mission and tasks. When the Kingsmen numbers start to dwindle a list is produced. This list features several promising youths that Kingsmen believe will be appropriate replacements for them when they finally reach their demise. With the last mission striking down a record number, 5 Kingsmen, the list is now being activated.
Merlin looked at his watch. It read 11:50. The first trial given to the names on the list was a simple one with a twist. They were all brought to Capetown, South Africa and told to arrive where Merlin stood at noon sharp in four days. They were also left with no money, passport, or phone. For those that showed up early or late would be sent home. A gentleman is never early or late. They always arrive right on time.
