On another note, I don't know why this isn't a thing on these forums, but I find it REALLY helpful to know what's going on when people add a title to their posts as simple as the name of their character and occasionally some brief information like a location, if that location is different than someone else in the group. For instance:

"Sofia Kelt - Main Floor of the Gymnasium"

Text, post, blah blah blah...

It's really easy and it really helps establish who people are, especially when everyone is writing in the first person. :)

I like Angie, she's a good character. The Good Lord may smile upon her fortune, then again, he may have a tree fall on her.

@whiteprophet I love orderly and titled posts. I'm not sure I everyone feels that way though, and I'm not going to risk upsetting the masses.

As a compromise, I can place the player names alongside the character names in the group info - I could probably even also attach their last posted location. Would that work?

Why? Because your character's response was 100 percent human? James was getting eaten, a dozen shamblers were surging throug the door - its absoloutely natural your character panicked and fired her gun. Hell, I reckon I may have done the same!

Let the others judge your decision as an abysmal one, again, that's what humans do. They criticise the actions of others, not always realising they may have done the same if they were in that person's shoes.

Ultimately though, its up to you. I've got some hungry minions who can take her off your hands, if you're not up to the task of playing what is in my view, so far a very believable character.

P.s, I'm at work and using my phone. Sorry for any spelling mistakes or unclear sentances, I'm writing this in five second stints whilst looking over my shoulder.

One of them is kind of 'out there', more combat-suited and extremely untrustworthy. The other one is a lot more 'normal', but also hyper-practical when dealing with disaster (i.e. they can't stand people panicking or hesitating); both of these would probably conflict with the others. What do you think?

With the first one, are we talking about a renegede soldier? A brutal biker type? Who is he/she? You mentioned them being untrustworthy, which could make for an interesting drama later in the RP.

The second guy sounds like a jerk, which could also make for interesting drama.

Gimme some more info on who they are.

Alright. Well, the first guy is rather quiet, but he takes drugs and was involved with organised crime. He values his own survival above anything else, but he's also well-armed compared to the others.

The second girl (I know there's a gender imbalance, but I don't think she'd work if I changed it) isn't so much as rude or jerkish as she is obsessed with not getting killed, to the exclusion of everything else, just like the other character. She's zombie-fiction-literate, though, and doesn't want to be the pretty one who dies immediately, like they do in the movies. Or they become the damsel, which she also doesn't like the sound of.

Okay, let's get down to business. I floated the idea of splitting the group into slower and faster posters.

If you can get one post up in 48 hours, say "Group 1"

If you can get one post up in 7 days, say "Group 2"

My rate of intervention in either group is subject to the changing situation, however with the 7 dayers, your character is less likely to be eaten for being AFK.

@HHShetland The first guy sounds like the sort of person the group needs, in my opinion. A tough nut with attitude problems, but who can also serve as a strong headed leader when the going gets tough - even if being a strong headed leader means sacrificing people so he can get away :P

Alright then, #1 it is. Though #2 was a revamped version of a character I recently made for another Zombie RP, anyway. I'll probably bring her in if #1 gets killed off, which he probably will at some point. Not necessarily from the shamblers.

Also, put me in for Group 2 for now.
