It has been 19 Years since the defeat of the Death Eaters and their Dark Lord Voldermort. Many in the Wizarding World would love to forget it ever happened and others; those affected by it will never forget.
The Primary characters of the Battle of Hogwarts now married and raising children of their own. You may have attended school with them, some of you may have fought at the battle or you may be from a foreign land. In any case these stories won't concern them but your characters.

PERSONALITY: Maeve is an extremely quirky woman with a serene disposition and many eccentric beliefs and qualities. Often described as a child in an adults body, she is a complete nonconformist; she lacks a barrier between her brain and mouth, as a result, is not afraid to speak her mind and show who she truly is. Often times she will do random odd things such as talk to herself or turn away during the middle of a conversation. Despite having the attention span of a rabid squirrel, Maeve is also intelligent and unusually perceptive of others feelings and thoughts. Her demeanor and voice are often distant and dreamy, and she will drift away from a conversation she does not find interesting. She has an uncanny way of making others uncomfortable by being bluntly honest, or rather embarrassingly honest. She is completely unflappable and rarely seems anxious or under stress, even under difficult circumstances. Maeve is very good at comforting others and is usually quite a joy to be around. She has extremely well-developed senses, and an aesthetic appreciation for beauty. She's not interested in leading or controlling others. She is flexible and open-minded about other people lives, traditions, stories, etc.. She is also original and very creative and enjoys living in the present moment.
PATRONUS: DOVE - Those with this patronus are good-hearted, and expressors. They are great at expression, and what they feel and the aura they give off can be pushed onto others, causing those around the dove to feel more calm merely from their presence. They are optimistic people with a strong ambition in life, fluttering from place to place trying to give off energy to others and help out in anyway they can. Their life is their mission, and they have two many goals, to make a difference, and to be loved.
(Note: Her appearance is intended to be representative of this image. For those of you who have no issue with stylized appearance references, this may serve as a purer means of internalizing how Charlotte looks.)
Charlotte is a curious and definitively attractive young woman, possessing an amount of flair to her proportions that make her appealing to members of the opposite sex without seeming to go too far overboard. However, she is very lightly muscular as opposed to being particularly thin or large, and her otherwise fair skin has the lightest hint of a tan indicative of living somewhere that commonly experiences sunlight.
She keeps her blonde hair short, and practical, often not styled in any particular fashion but rather left as it is whenever Charlotte wakes from her daily nap. She has startling, grey eyes, which give her an oddly piercing gaze that gives off the impression of being more meaningful than it is.
As noble or strangely fierce as she may look from time to time, she is not especially tall or short, standing up at a height that could be considered relatively average for girls her age. Her weight, too, isn't all that interesting beyond that she seems to maintain at least some modicum of a healthy lifestyle. Somehow.
Her style of dress is most definitely on the "Wizarding" side of things, preferring casual robes in whatever fashion she decides most fit. When forced to disguise herself while in the Muggle world, she dresses minimalisticly, preferring short-sleeved tops and skirts, dresses or shorts, depending on the weather or mood.
She dislikes even a little bit of cold, so she tends to overdress when the winter weather comes in, although she has very little experience with such phenomenon having come from a traditionally hot locale.
Finally, she abhores altering one's appearance with charms or potions, and prefers to stick to whatever natural look she has at any given moment. This means that, more often than not, she will end up looking worse than usual due to problems such as stress, fatigue or lack of effort. It can't be helped.
Age 25
Heritage Pure-blood
House Non-Hogwarts
Personality Lazy, unmotivated and terribly malicious, Charlotte is the very definition of a person that is hard to get along with. She doesn't much care for the needs or wants of others, and prefers to service her own desires rather than go along with whatever those around her have planned. To those around her, it might seem like she's almost incapable of motivating herself to do anything. One might wonder how she has ever gotten anything done, or how she even managed to complete her schooling.
In truth, when she becomes completely devoted to achieving something, she is almost guaranteed to succeed just through sheer force of will and effort. At these times, she will stop at nothing to achieve her goals, thinking that "There's no point in doing things half-way."
Outside of these rare incidents, she is quite a care-free person, simply following whatever whims or wants she happens to be feeling at any given moment. Surprisingly (given her otherwise calm demeanour), she's very easily provoked, and tends to hold grudges for extended periods of time once slighted.
Similar to her approach when motivated towards a goal, she refuses to go half-way with her relationships. Whether it's disliking somebody to the point of hatred, or even becoming as close as lovers with somebody she's just befriended.
Such is her nature.
Familiar Shaman, her specially bred magic raven. Was her Mother's companion first, before being passed on to Charlotte. He is from a particular breed of intelligent, magical Ravens native to Australia. Having been paired with a Wizard for his entire life, he is fully capable of speaking fluently and is often able to offer helpful insight into any given situation, due to his unique perspective.
If you can get over his sense of humour, that is.

History
Charlotte grew up in the lovely, excessively boring country of Australia, where quote, "Nothing happens. Ever." Because of this, she had plenty of time to laze through her early magical education, with no ill effects suffered due to the growing crisis in faraway Britain.
Since a young age, she was paired up with her mother's old Raven named Shaman, who taught her all sorts of things (good and bad). Most importantly, he introduced the concept of Muggles to her, and showed her the ways in which they differed from magical folk. Her parents reinforced these teachings, indicating to her that she should never interact with them unless ab-so-lutely necessary.
However, after being teased tremendously with stories of the strange people and never being able to see them for herself, Charlotte one day decided that she would make the perilous journey down the local street to try and find herself a couple of Muggles to gander at. Shaman warned her against this, but accompanied her anyways, devoted to ensuring that no harm would befall her in his absence.
They left home together and set off on a trek down the sweltering, dirt road, to the nearby Muggle settlement. Upon arriving, she was nearly struck down with awe at the things she saw and heard. The Muggle folk bustled about busily, wearing dress different from any she had ever seen and riding in machines she had only heard spoken of passingly.
In her curiosity, she failed to comprehend the trouble she might encounter by wandering the streets alone, a mere seven year old girl dressed in nothing but a woefully vulnerable child's robe and Witch's hat.
They were on her in minutes, asking drawlingly "Where she'd lost her parents" and "If she was alone". Even little Charlotte could figure trouble when she saw it, so she came close to running off back towards home when one of the Muggle men grabbed her.
For a moment, it seemed like Charlotte was done for. She would be eaten, or beaten, and maybe more after that, by these cruel, thuggish men. Then, in a flurry of black feathers and loud Cawing, Shaman flew in from a nearby post and scared the boys off.
Charlotte didn't waste any time going home after the incident, but she was left traumatized by her close encounter with Muggle-kind. Since that point, she has disliked them by principle, regardless of how much she may have matured mentally since then.
Of course, she was harshly scolded for running off on her own, but her parents wouldn't be so cruel as to punish her after such a harrowing experience.
---
Afterwards, she continued her magical education as normally as most Witches or Wizards from her home country. She studied beneath her parents, who passed on more than just the expected curriculum, but also imparted the knowledge gained through their respective fields.
Her mother was a duellist extraordinaire, with an exceptional win record across the years she was actively participating in Duels. She never did become a Champion, but placed in the finals and semi-finals of several prestigious events. She retired, moving from Britain to Australia in order to raise her daughter alongside her Husband in his family's household.
Her father, on the other hand, is a magical researcher. Studier of both the dark and light arts, he has made no amazing discoveries in his field yet, but could be considered one of the largest authorities in the indigenous arts of the Australian people. Behind the scenes, he is one of the foremost in the study of the Dark Arts as well, and is connected with several shady, underground resources across his country.
There were some incidents during Charlotte's educational period, fights, short little adventures, unique or interesting discoveries, but none of them are relevant to what has brought her to Britain on this date.
Her mother and father have gone on vacation from their Australia home, with their eyes set on several Slavic countries, and her mother suggested that perhaps Charlotte travel to Britain alongside them and help further her career there. Here, she has been able to meet with her mother's side of the family, and see some of the legendary magical sights in what qualifies as one of the largest magical communities in the world.
There's more, however. Her father tells her that there are Dark Wizards connected to some of his associates, living in the shadows of London. Supposedly, they have yet to contact him or his company, and there are worries that there may be a snitch among them. So, Charlotte is also to act as her Father's hand, investigating these "allies" and seeing if they are really so devoted to the cause after all.
If they aren't, it falls upon her to deliver the appropriate compensation for their betrayal. There is no need to describe what this implies, and Charlotte can only hope that she won't end up being dragged into something bothersome.
Wand Eleven-and-a-Quarter Inches, Hemlock, with a core of Dragon Heartstring.
Special Stuff Being from Australia, where there has never really been a major Dark Arts crisis, Charlotte's early access to Dark Arts knowledge gives her an inherent edge over many British Dark Wizards. Her father (and indeed her entire family), is very well established in Australian Dark Arts culture.
She was taught the Dark Arts alongside her traditional magical education, and in comparison to the pathetic collection of remaining Dark Wizards in the western world, she could be said to be in a completely different league.
She's no Voldemort, obviously, just her high Dark Arts affinity and actual education in the field puts her on an imbalanced playing field relative to British practitioners. Importantly, she is capable of preforming what is considered an Illegal curse in the duelling world, the Strangulation Curse, as well as the completely Illegal Unforgivable Curses.
Among them, she possesses the most affinity for Cruciatus, although she is more than capable of preforming the other two if necessary.
PERSONALITY: Very, very independent, Jackson isn't the ideal person to spend time with. He's got to do everything himself, whether that be something simple or extremely complex. His anger issues don't exactly help that fact. He's been known to be a very strong person, and most people would advise you to stay away from him.
Jackson prefers to come up with things as he goes. He never really has a plan or idea, he just "wings it". He's pretty sharp, but not so much so as to help him get everything done on his own. He is mostly described as a "loose-cannon", and cannot receive no as an answer.
If your lucky enough to get close to him, he won't let anything happen to you or people close to you, so long as they're fine with his personality. On the outside, he's a jerky son-of-a-gun, but on the inside, waaaaaaaaay down there, he cares. You just need to put the effort in to get there. Next to nobody has every been so close to him.
He gets things done with his physical power most of the time. He has smarts, but doesn't use them as much as he should.
It's just his way.
Jackson was an only child for the majority of his childhood. Living in a magical household, it really wasn't too bad. He was actually a happy, giddy little kid. The family got along, and he had close friends. When he got his letter sending him to Hogwarts, he was overwhelmed with joy.
He spent three years there, always returning to his home when he could. Everything was great, until his father was accused of practice of the Dark Arts. They spent another year trying to prove it wrong, but it was true. They found evidence, that being his association with some other well-known sketchy wizards and witches. One of his associates being Jackson's mother.
After his family was jailed, he was forced into living with his uncle. His aunt had passed the year before, and he didn't know how his uncle was handling it. As it turned out, he wasn't taking it too well.
Taught by his despicable uncle the basics of the Dark Arts, he was expelled from Hogwarts in his 6th year. It was not entirely his fault either. His uncle had spoken about it to the DADA teacher, hoping that he would keep it a secret. Later, it was found out that he'd had a bit much to drink, and was brought into Azkaban 3 months later for the killing of an innocent muggle.
From that point on, Jackson learned to live on his own. He rented an apartment and gave up his Dark Arts practices. Though he never once forgot how to use it, he prefers not to use it when he can.
FAMILIAR: Anima, a small, mute, female crow.
WAND: Twelve Inches, Willow, the core being Unicorn Hair.
PATRONUS: A bat
SPECIAL STUFF: Jackson's knowledge of the law (having to listen to his parents' hearings, as well as his uncle's) and the Dark Arts, he is skilled with the use of curses in secret. Though he cannot pull off the killing curse, he is skilled with the Imperius curse. His use of the Cruciatus is limited, and not very talented.
Lately he's been involved with some petty crimes and such. His identity is out there, but he is not very high on the list. Crime has begun to grow on him as somewhat of an addiction.
HERITAGE: Half-blood (Father's a muggleborn, mother's a pureblood)
HOUSE: Slytherin
PERSONALITY: Kitra comes off as very calm and patient; she’s occasionally rude but it’s usually accidental. It’s hard to get her mad and even if you do get her mad, she tries to calm herself down and not take it out and others. She’s often lazy wishing things would come to her easily but when she sets her mind to something she gets it done efficiently. She has a good sense of humor and is fiercely loyal but only to people she deems worthy. She’s sometimes comes off as flighty with her opinions but really she’s just willing to alter her opinions based on the facts. She tries very hard not to be judgmental of others. She seems a little shy at first but once she knows someone she becomes more outgoing.
She considers herself to be very independent and very rarely allows others to influence her decisions though she is willing to hear everyone out. She doesn't trust easily and tends to keep up walls that very few people get through. She tries to be considerate of others emotions but if you ask her a question, even a sensitive one, she usually answers it bluntly, believing if you ask the question you should be prepared for the answer.
History:
WIP
FAMILAR: Cat named Artemis
WAND: 13in spruce with dragon heartstring core, surprisingly swishy
PATRONUS: Fox
SPECIAL STUFF: Kitra does not consider herself a light or dark witch. She believes that magic is a tool to use and its how she uses it that matters. She considers herself pretty adept at the dark arts though she is by no means an expert. Most of what she knows she learned from her mother.
Yeah, that'd suck... Like, a lot... Totally forgot about that. Punch 'em in the face! Ha, imagine that. If Harry, Ron, and Hermione were really dark wizards/witches, they just run up to Dementors and punch them!
I'd like to suggest that you join the Dark Wizard club, but we're kind of short on protagonists right now.
... Unless we want almost out entire cast to be evil. Which would be amusing in its own right, considering that Evil aligned characters are woefully misrepresented in the Harry Potter series.
