DAT PIPLUP
<Snipped quote by Nero>
A bit of research shows piplup learns hydro pump at level 43. A level >43 piplup... as a starter...
I see nothing wrong here. Move along now.

Hydropump can be learned in its starter stage via breeding with just about almost any water type
Look it up on Bulbapedia.

Wasn't the Piplup the starter he just got, though?
Well, no matter. Meanwhile, I'll catch dat Zangoooooose. GOOOOOOOOOOOOSE. (boiled goooooose)
<Snipped quote by hatakekuro>
Looked it up. Very much true.
Note to self, when researching, research harder.
Not, um, trying to be annoying, but I was under the impression that starters typically didn't have egg moves because they come from the lab and haven't been bred in any extra-special way by their trainer?
<Snipped quote by Nightmare Bunny>
That's true, but our first pokemon (the ones we picked before the rp started) either had a tm move like Dazzling Gleam (Andre's Cleffa) or Sigurd's Scraggy that knows Zen Headbutt. At this point it almost doesn't matter and it helps create diversity in the beginning of the game as long it's within reason. That's my thought at least. ^^;; I'll change if they ask me too.

True, true! :D
