"It's a dangerous business going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”

It was an odd time and an eerie peace seemed to swell over the land, just like a calm before a storm. The Elves were quiet in there continued isolation but ever present. The Dwarves, having recently recaptured Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, enjoyed a great peak of satisfaction in life as many dwarfs flocked to Erebor's rebuilding. Talk of reclaiming Moria becomes a common rumor. The lives of Men were flourishing as Dale began rebuilding alongside the dwarfs. Attacks against Gondor have increased but have largely remained unsuccessful. The world seemed to be approaching a climax and the recent events of concerning Erebor were just becoming public knowledge but the event surrounding Dol Guldur were still kept a secret only told behind closed doors.

Rivendell was quiet at night. Not many Elves had the desire to wander about at night it seemed. Only a few sentries and their armor could be seen glittering in the moonlight. Of course the sentries weren’t the only ones still up, Caldara, herself was up. She was situated on some type of reclining bench, drifting in and out of sleep. Occasionally after she stirred awake, she would glance around to see if anything changed.
The Dúnedain gave a great big yawn and she stretched along the bench. Like clockwork, she groggily glanced around. The open-aired vista in which she was resting in had remained the same. Nobody was sitting at the round stone table and her two sponsors, a male elf and a female elf, were still looking out on the balcony talking very little in a hushed tone. The male was Elrond, famous elven lord and this was his domain by definition. The female was unmistakably Galadriel with that long flowing blonde hair and a beauty that had even entranced Caldara from time to time. Those two probably had a lot to talk about if half of the things she heard were true.
Caldara gave another yawn and stretched, it was around the time that they would be expecting their Sentinel. A Dwarf who had a fair reputation of being a battle-hardened veteran coming off of the recent Erebor battle.
