Several years ago Dr. Peter Whitney bought several orphans from various countries. He used these children in experiments. He fully opened their minds to enhanced their natural abilities. But the children were unable to cope with the sideaffects. Frustrated he adopted them all out. A several years later he tried again this time with adult volunteers. Unfortunately the adults weren't able to handle side effects any better then the kids were. Now Dr. Peter Whiney is dead. His daughter Lily has opened her 80 room mansion to these people. She wants to help these people deal with the side effects if her fathers experiment.(This rp is based loosely on a book series)

Lily

Bio: Lily was the only girl raised to adulthood. She had no idea what her father had done to her or the others. Until he called her to the lab and introduced her to Ryland Miller and his men. Lily was angry to discover her fathers experiment, but since the men had volunteered she had been willing to forgive him, until she found out that her father hadn't used only volunteers. Now that her father is gone she is finding records of his experiments other. Upset at the inhuman things her father has done Lily is determined to find the others he experimented on and help them in any way she could. With the fathers money and her husband's military connections anything was possible.

Vanessa

Drawbacks: major migraines.
Bio: Vanessa was one of the children experimented on. Later after she was readopted, she notices how she could hear other peoples thoughts and project her own. She also realized when she did this her head started to hurt afterwards. She is now being called back to the mansion to someone who wants to help her and the other experimented children.

Ryland

Drawbacks: migraines and voices in his head
Bio: Ryland was in special focuses before the experiment. He thought enhancing his abilities would help him be a better solider. He and his men were in the lab trying to learn how to use their abilities without suffering side effects. When Lily's father brought her in for a consultation. Now that her father is gone Ryland and his men are counting on Lily to teach them so they can function in the field.

Karou rarely talks and if she does it's either something Mary has "told" her to say or her own words but in a very quiet voice. Karou really only talks to Mary or to Garry. She avoids people she doesn't know and if they approach her she runs away. She is very kind and gentle and likes helping people. She can be startled or scared quite easily and she doesn't like being grabbed suddenly or loud noise. She is terrified of thunderstorms and hates violence/fighting.

She can not separate reality from her illusions and she gets random nose-bleeds and severe headaches: both of which she says happens because Mary is punishing her for something she did.

Karou was orphaned by her mother, who abandoned her because she never wanted a daughter in the first place. Karou used to be a bright and bubbly girl but after the experimentation she went through she drew in on herself and began "speaking" through a doll she found one day.

She has a doll called Mary. Mary does all the talking, Karou just repeats what she "says":
