Personality: Anastasia is extremely intelligent and driven. She's ambitious and is always working to achieve. She has always had a small group of friends, but always puts her studies before socialisation. She has a good sense of humour, seen as she's generally quick-witted. Short Bio: Kaelyn is born to a muggle and a witch. She grew up happily in the countryside, practically as an only child since her older brother was in school for most of her childhood. She always looked forward to him coming home for holidays and hearing the tales of HoGwarts. Her mother was in Gryffindor and her brother was in Ravenclaw, but she ended up in Hufflepuff. Her mother was thrilled, and said everyone had assumed as much. Kaelyn has a very close relationship with her mother, writing her at least once a week since she started and making sure she went home for every single holiday.
Personality: Kaelyn is the most positive, bubbly person anyone has ever met. She loves to laugh and joke about, playing pranks too, if they aren't painful. She's also very caring and maternal, taking care of all of her friends and anyone else who needs it. Kaelyn is very creative and artistic, inventive too, she loves to experiment artistically, which can sometimes prove to have strange consequences for her and her friends.

Gabriel is a young teenager, standing at around average height for a sixteen year old, give or take an inch. His skin is a tan, caramel color, that hints at Native American blood, which, combined with his French blood, gives him a rather exotic, handsome look; especially with his lengthy, curly, soft black hair that flits in between his golden-hazel eyes, with the back holding a pony-tail that trails even more hair down to his shoulder-blades. His physique is athletic and defined, obviously from disciplined training. Gabriel generally wears the Slytherin vest, jeans, shoes, and robe - although his robe was customly tailored by his mother, appearing more as a high-collared, expensive, muggle coat, moreso than a regular robe.

Short Bio: Gabriel grew up as the youngest male of a long line of infamous dark wizards, in the Honorable Family Mal Thea. The family, dating back far into the Middle Age, was originally founded in the first beginnings of France, eventually becoming one of the most, if not the most politically influencing and powerful family in the entirety of France itself. Gabriel, as the heir to the next throne of Mal Thea, was put through vigorous training, stress, and general attention, even at a young age. While this would give most an arrogant air, along with an attention-craving personality, the opposite was formed. Gabriel moved with the punches, training and studying diligently, whether it be in the magical arts, or in politics.

Chess and checkers were a break among the monotony of life, studying was something he could do in his time not with his father, practicing and mastering the violin was forced upon him, as he needed to master an instrument, apparently, and life became a haze. At the age of ten, he entered Hogwarts after a minor debate between his uncles and father - something about showing the Mal Thea line in Britain. He quickly showcased his prodigal talent with magical theory and practice, becoming noticed by the teachers. Because of this, as a test of will, he began downplaying and hiding his abilities...not becoming a flunkee. No, he simply did the minimum, leaving most to believe that he was simply more interested in his own studies and practices, rather than the tests and attention the teachers would give to 'teacher's pets'. Life continued in Hogwarts for the young heir, as normal...

Personality: Gabriel is...well, he's certainly a studious person. Generally distant, the young wizard could often be seen sitting somewhere alone, going over books ahead of his year, or even dusty, leather-bound journals that had nothing to do with the current Hogwarts curriculum. At other times, he could be seen gesturing subtly with his wand, performing and practicing different spells silently. He's quiet, that much was obvious, and rather apathetic and calm. Nothing seems to be able to surprise him, and although he keeps to himself, content with his own realm of solitude, at times, it seems as if he wants to do something more; share his interests in magic with others. It only flits between his eyes, before he crushes it and returns to whatever he was doing. Focused intensity, some would say. A lot would say, actually. When he does talk, it's in a quiet, yet cool and collected manner. Despite his introversion, he seems to be able to hold a constant conversation if the topic interests him. Similarly, people with similar, studious tastes such as his is welcomed as a temporary companion. Over-all, around the young boy, there seems to be an aura of mystery and, well, magic.

PERSONALITY: Lucy is an extremely quirky girl with a serene disposition and many eccentric beliefs and qualities. Often described as an 'old soul', she is a complete nonconformist; she lacks a barrier between her brain and mouth, as a result, is not afraid to speak her mind and show who she truly is. Often times she will do random odd things such as talk to herself or turn away during the middle of a conversation. Despite having the attention span of a rabid squirrel, Lucine is also intelligent and unusually perceptive of others feelings and thoughts. Her demeanor and voice are often distant and dreamy, and she will drift away from a conversation she does not find interesting. She has an uncanny way of making others uncomfortable by being bluntly honest, or rather embarrassingly honest. She is completely unflappable and rarely seems anxious or under stress, even under difficult circumstances. Lucy is very good at comforting others and is usually quite a joy to be around. She has extremely well-developed senses, and an aesthetic appreciation for beauty. She's not interested in leading or controlling others. She is flexible and open-minded about other people lives, traditions, stories, etc.. She is also original and very creative and enjoys living in the present moment.

HISTORY: Born the daughter of Lysander Scamander, son of Luna Lovegood and Ralf Scamander, Lucine was surrounded by love and smiles since she was a little girl. She grew up in an environment that shaped her into a kind and caring person. Appropriately nicknamed "Angel" by her uncle Lorcan, Lucine has been the kind of person to always put another's happiness before her own. From a young age, she aquired a love of Art and has since made it a persistent hobby of hers, often times secluding herself in her attic to paint or sketch things she saw out her window. Lucine is very close to her grandmother, often times the two sit together and talk about Luna's time at Hogwarts.

During her third year at Hogwarts, her mother passed away after getting really sick, leaving her father in a depressed state after her passing. Lucine was devistated by this, but seeing what her father was going through, denied herself the right to properly grieve to stay strong for the both of them. She buried her sadness and smiled more, keeping drawings of her mother with her all the time. Little did she know what an affect it would have on her after keeping her sadness buried for too long.

Hannah was the child of both what were supposedly a muggle mother and father. Never once did she deem the idea of delving into her family's history a necessity, and her early childhood, while filled with living impoverished, was happy. Never once did her family ever attain a great quality of food or money, but they lived happily. Together in spite of the misery that surrounded the three, they were happy with simply scratching by.

Their entire world changed however, with the arrival of a wax-stamped and sealed envelope precisely for Hannah. Within it was a letter cordially congratulating her on being accepted into Hogwarts, and a fervor of anger, fear, and questions arose from her father while her mother meekly cowered. As it turned out, Hannah's grandfather had been a Squib, a wizard that was mostly incapable of magic his entire life. The very shame of it caused mother to avoid going to Hogwarts herself, and live life with her husband. Of whom she still desperately loved.

What she failed to mention however, that Hannah found out later on was that she was a descendant of one of the Hogwarts' founders. A tidbit she found out from the Sorting Hat himself as he grumbled something about the trickery that was Ravenna Ravenclaw. When she asked what it was talking about, it told her:

She was Ravenna's granddaughter.

Begrudgingly, with Hannah's pleas, her father agreed to let her traverse to Hogwarts. There, much in contrast to her grandfather, Hannah excelled in all fields of magic. Earning top marks as she was so earnestly willing to learn.

Something else odd happened however, as her third year progressed.

Books began vanishing from the forbidden section of the Library. Naturally suspecting a thief in the midst of the night, the Prefects and House Heads patrolled the seemingly endless rows of books to no avail. Until one fateful night when the Gryffindor Prefect had been subject to Petrificus Totalus as a sudden surprise. There, as he lay unable to do a thing, a girl in all black robes wearing a mask of ivory ran past him. Helpless but to watch as she seized a handful of books and disappeared into the night beneath an Invisibility Cloak.

The fiery length of her red hair brought this thief to be known as the Red Fox.

For in truth, Hannah had a dreadful secret. Her family was too poor to afford the books and supplies she required to continue learning at Hogwarts. So in a moment of brilliance, she had come up with a business for herself. For those of more wealthy inclinations and curiosities, she would steal whatever books they wanted from the Forbidden Section for them to peruse...at a hefty price. A price by which most were more than able to pay.

Through carefully arranged hexes in her agreements, she insured compliance with the orders at hand and the lack of a ratting out to her by one of these students to save their own skin. For with each opportunity came a receipt. Enchanted in such a way that if she were betrayed, the receipt would go black, and the unfortunate person who had attempted to backstab her would undergo some kind of hex. Varying from horrible pus-filled acne or the inability to stop dancing.

So strict was this practice that she assembled a list of credible clientele, and the money flowed smoothly. And with the money came more wealth, more daring tactics as the Prefects who tried to capture her always seemed just a millisecond behind her. Even to the point of one of her grander escapades being leaping from the ramparts of Hogwarts' Castle, only to be caught by her freshly bought Firebolt broomstick.

Much to the chagrin of the prefects and some of the staff, the Red Fox had become an increasing nuisance.

Personality: Publicly, she can be meek from time to time. And is actually kind to fellow unfortunate students like herself. Yet when she puts on the mask that hides her face for her...she becomes a cunning, vengeful soul who serves a purpose to herself. And that is the furthering of her own education.

As Carlo was always working Rob and Mia helped raise Jay. Carlo showed him what it took to be a man, while his older sister showed him how to be kind, and how The street is no place for a boy and that he had to work hard to make something of his life. a few years after the Carlo started dating a woman with two other kids At the age of ten Carlo got remarried to a woman he had been seeing for two years. Rob now 21 and working, and Mia at 18 about to graduate from high school. The woman he had married was moving to London for work, and invited all five to go. As Rob and Mia had a life here they chose to stay. It has been six years since then and every summer he can he returns to San Francisco to see his siblings.

Visiting family living in New Zealand it was discovered that Devin had inherited the magical blood a portion of his mothers family still carried. Soon enough it was decided that he could pursue both education tracks. Spending the normal school year at Hogwarts and the summer catching up with his muggle studies.

Personality

Creative, resourceful, and intellectually quick are words Devin’s teachers would use to describe him on report cards. He is good at a broad range of things. Enjoys debating issues, and can be into "one-upmanship"; however, this trait is for the joy of competition and not malicious. Devin gets very excited about new ideas and projects, but can neglect the more routine aspects of life. Generally outspoken and assertive some might say he is a leader. Devin is the founder and president of the Muggle Appreciation Club (MAC) at Hogwarts. The club meets to celebrate muggle culture. At least that is what it is when talking to any professor. To Devin and other members it is a place where they can go to enjoy the comforts of the muggle world. At first it was seen as a weird thing that muggle born students went to, but after some time watching sports, partying because of some muggle holiday, and learning about muggle life had become fairly popular. Devin even got the school to allow the club room to be free of anti electricity charms so the TV and computers would work.

Devin was made a Prefect for his house. He has been looking forward to using the special bathroom more often as he was allowed access after quidditch matches since he was a team captain. Now that he is a prefect he will also be able to enjoy being out past the normal school curfew though he will be patrolling the halls looking for students sneaking out.

Devin is also the Captain and keeper for the Griffindor Quidditch team. With Jay using muggle sports tactics and Luc teaching the team how to improve their flying ability the current team is believed to be one of the strongest ever assembled. Since all three joined two years ago they won the Inter-House Quidditch Cup twice. They are back and armed with a whole new book of plays and tricks. Rumors that the three have been scouted by professional teams are common. The three haven't said anything to deny these.

Devin does not have an owl or bird to deliver letters home so instead he uses his friends birds to communicate with his friends and family back home. Since the creation of the MAC he has been able to use email more often, but his mom loves it when he sends her letter by different birds so he often seeks out new and interested birds to send her letters which mostly feature the topic of magical creatures.

Devin was required to get special acceptance to bring his somewhat large dog Chopsticks to school. Originally the school never allowed such large animals, but by relying on the magical worlds complete ignorance of the muggle world Devin was able to convince the school that muggle students were allowed to bring their dogs to school and it would be really helpful to have Chopsticks with him at school. Since then Chopsticks has enjoyed chasing the schools house elfs and going for runs with Devin around the lake.

Character Connections

Anastasia (Ana) Borak

Ana and Devin first met during the presorting hat ritual of taking boats to the school. His nervousness over the whole ordeal was written over his face and he found the fact that Ana seemed to know everything there was to know about the school and what was about to happen incredibly comforting. They have been study partners for a few projects and while many find her no nonsense study habits off putting Devin still enjoys her company when she allows him to bother her. He enjoys teasing her on how little about the muggle world she knows.

Kaelyn Cobble

Kaelyn was Devin's first crush. That sort of crush you get when you meet someone who just doesn't seem to have any faults. Funny, flirty, and happy there was little in the way of flaws that Devin could see. Still the distance of two years meant Devin rarely had any interaction especially since they were in different houses. The crush steadily marched over to admiration.

Gabriel Mal Thea

Devin was never one to fall into the whole rivalry between the houses (except for when Quidditch was being played) So it was a bit of a surprise when Devin began to socialize with Gabriel outside of classes. The two had more than their share of classes together. The biggest story between the two is one Devin loves to share and Gabriel hates to hear. During potions the two were partnered and Devin watched as Gabriel silently poured way to many merman tears into the potion. A second later the whole pot was bubbling green and explodes. The result of the potion was perfectly clean hair... in that Gabriel blew his entire head of hair off. Thankfully the two learned how to mix a hair growing potion to make up credit for failing the class exercise.

Lucine Scamander

More than a few people have speculated that Lucine and Devin are sweethearts. Likely due to their mutual love for Care for Magical Creatures course. The worst was when the two were charged with putting a chupacabra back in a cage. The claws snagged both of them a few times and after finally getting it into its cage their clothes were mostly gone. Needless to say there were more than a few rumors and jokes wandering the halls at their expense.

Hannah Beckings

Hannah is a member of Devin's Muggle Appreciation Club. While most know her as a somewhat shy student Hannah has let her hair down as it were in front of Devin several times. During the early months of the clubs creation Hannah seemed to enjoying the meetings. She would keep to herself mostly, but still her early attendance was a big boost for Devin. Since the popularity of the club has increased Hannah's attendance has started to boarder on rare.

Jason “Jay” Vega

Jason is Devin's best friend. Both born on the West coast of north america and from across the pond the two had a lot in common. Add in the fact that they are in the same house and you have two nearly inseparable buddies. The two are the founding members of the Muggle Appreciation Club which came about after the two realized they both love football and the Seahawks vs 49ers game was impossible to watch in Hogwarts. Since then people have told them that they can talk like they aren't in a school for magic. The two don't mind and often continue their conversation.

Luc Anaxi Lupin

Luc rounds out what many in the school call the Griffindor Lions. With Devin being the Mane and Jay the Paw Luc is known as the roar. The three have been friends since first year. More trouble has befallen Devin because of Luc than any other member of Griffindor. This often comes into play when the two begin to compete over something completely pointless. Two happy go lucky competitive types is not what the grounds keeper of the school wants. The time they spent in detention is almost as much time as they practice on brooms.

Alyssa Carrow

Things could not have gone more wrong when Devin met Alyssa. After introducing himself to her she said her name and seemed bothered that he didn't say anything other than 'nice to meet you'. Learning that Devin had no idea what the Carrow name carried seemed to rub her the wrong way; however, it was after she educated Devin in why her family was prestigious that she got an explanation right back about Devin's family, his muggle family. Since than Alyssa has had a chip on her shoulder when it comes to Devin. This was made all the more so when he created the MAC and invited Alyssa to the meetings. He is aware of her disdain for muggles, but has made it very clear that he intends to kill it with kindness.

Adrian Bennett

The only time these two have had the pleasure of crossing paths is on the Quidditch pitch. The two have lead their teams to resounding victories and for the past two years Gryffindors has won the Inter-House Quidditch Cup only after beating Ravenclaw.

Sun-Sun Ying

Sun-Sun met Devin when both had Care for Magical Creatures. They got along well enough with Devin usually being his happy conversational self. He was understanding enough to notice that his classmate was struggling with things. He was never one to pry so he just kept along his normal social self. When he found out she had a fondness for water he invited her to join him for a scuba diving trip in the school lake. The two enjoyed their time under water and have sense made several trips.

Short Bio: Luc is the son of Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley. He, like his father and grandmother (Tonks), is a Metamorphmagus. A witch/wizard with the rare ability to change their appearance at will. Also from his grandfathers (Bill Weasly, Remus Lupin) he has inherited a tiny bit of werewolf, however it comes out as nothing more than a craving for raw meat.
Personality: Loud and ‘obnoxious’ Luc is a daredevil. He seems to believe he has something to prove, although no one, not even he himself is sure what. He often acts a lot like a little kid, something that can quite easly piss people off. Often it seems like he is oblivious to others feelings, but he does try not to hurt others intentionally. He struggles with 'normal' magic and that annoys him no end, although he dose prefer to stick to what he sees as normal; Metamorphasing. When flying Luc prefers live animals (hippogriphs ect.) to brooms for, as he says; "They aren't really alive" He does however prefer using a broom to not flying at all.

Short Bio: Adrian Bennett went largely unremarked for his first two years. He was sorted into Ravenclaw, which led many to believe he was clever or smart in some fashion, but he never truly showed it outside of a chessboard, where he beat quite a few people rather soundly. It wasn't until the end of his second year, however, that something showed up. He had gone out to watch the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team scrimmage against the Gryffindors, and during a timeout he waved at his House's Captain to come see him. There, on the sidelines, in the 30 seconds allowed by the timeout, he outlined the entire match- holes in the Gryffindor defense, weaknesses in their offense, things the Ravenclaws could do to exploit them, everything. The Ravenclaws came back to win by 50 points, Snitch not included. That was when the Ravenclaw Captain noticed something about this guy. And after he was taken in and groomed to be a Keeper, he tried out and made the team in his Third Year. After that, everybody started to figure out just what kind of cleverness it was that made the hat call out "RAVENCLAW!" on his first night. Especially the House Head, who proceeded to name him a Quidditch Captain in his 5th year.

The fact that Peeves regularly salutes him in the hallways, however, has quite a number of people worried about him and possible connections to various pranks over the past 3 years...

Personality: Adrian is a trickster by nature. Not exactly in the sense of Peeves or the Weasley Twins, where the tricks involve pranking an unsuspecting student. More like a tactical trickster. He's a schemer and a planner, and nobody can ever be quite sure of what those schemes and plans involve. But crazy things have been known to happen under his influence, and very few people will willingly face him in Wizard Chess.

Bio: One would be hard pressed to find a wizard or a witch that didn't know the Carrow family. Although Alyssa was from a minor branch of that family, she was still closely related to the Carrow Twins who were given control of Hogwarts after Voldemort took over the ministry of magic. For that, her family were slightly avoided by normal wizards but it was hard to avoid one of the most powerful wizarding families in the country.

Alyssa was the youngest child and only girl amongst her three older brothers. For that reason, she was spoiled rotten when she was a child - anything she wanted, she got and there was even a number of things that she didn't want that she got. Growing up was easy for her, if her brothers ever annoyed her or gave her any problems then she would turn on the water-works and run to her father. Quickly, however, she discovered that this only worked in the case of her brothers and very rarely worked when dealing with other children. She needed something new, something that could allow her to bend and warp their little minds. It was only when she turned nine did she figure out what it was. All she needed to do was befriend the right people, make the right contacts and she had total control.

Moving from a private school to Hogwarts was easy, she had already made friends with other children from rich backgrounds and so, when she was put into Slytherin, her rise was expected. Unlike most of the other pure-blooded children that joined her, Alyssa had a lot going for her up in that thick skull of hers and she used it with deadly efficiency. Bonds were made, friendships destroyed and she felt rather smug that she had did it all. Having a brother who was a professional quidditch player did help her gain a few others as well, but also made her pretty good at the sport.

Personality: Personality? No; the main question is whether she would be diagnosed as a psychopath or not. It's not that she's particularly dangerous (unless angered) to anyone but she does have a rather shady sense of moral judgement. She's not unsociable, in fact she's like a sharp-edged sword when it comes to social encounters. Whether it's a witty remark or providing her opinions (mostly unwanted), then she can easily handle it all and take it in her stride. The paramount problem, however, is the fact that she really makes no effort to conceal her displeasure for muggles or half-bloods or simply anyone who connives with the whole lot. This has caused her to gain a little support in Slytherin but a main back-lash from other students. Like she'd care, of course.

Still however, she isn't one to mock you until she watches you and judges your usefulness to her before she categories you. Some people will gain her trust and she'll allow them to wiggle their way into her inner group. Most will be completely uninteresting to her and she'll let them ones drift through but occasionally, she finds a threat. A threat is someone who has the potential to destroy the chaotic system that she has engineered. Someone who could be close to her or her arch-nemesis - that's why she has to watch. In terms of school work, she usually tries pretty hard but likes to give the appearance that she isn't - her reasons for trying is because her parents would be rather disappointed if she got bad results.

Name: Michael Spencer

School Year: Fourth

House: Ravenclaw

Short Bio: Being raised by a magic family Michael was quite accustomed to the world of magic. He had three older sibling, all of which had attended Hogwarts. Two of them had already finished and had jobs and their own families. This was his older brother Mark and his older sister Nicole. His last sibling was also an older sister, Megan, who was in her seventh year at Hogwarts, though the two haven't spoken much since the accident three years ago that killed their parents during Michael's first year at Hogwarts. The two each live with one of their older siblings so they don't see each other that often unless it's Christmas or a special occasion that all of the siblings get together for.

As for school Michael wasn't the most social kid his first year since his parents died less than a week after he left for school. So he didn't really make any friends and was labeled that kid that was always off on his own. This really didn't change until his third year where he finally was able to stop hiding from everything around him. Michael even got an award for his art and has become slightly known around the school for it, at least to some of those who liked art. His goals for the fourth year are hopefully to try out for the Quidditch team, make more friends, create more music and art, and maybe become decent at using defensive spells!

Personality: Michael used to be very quiet and seclusive, while yes this isn't the case anymore and he is quite open and eager to meet new people now, the old self tends to slip back in every now and then, but now that he has some friends it's a lot easier for him to recover and continue on with his life. Michael is an art lover. He seeks to draw, or paint the world in all it's beauty and even the music he plays becomes an art. Sadly the same cannot be said for his skills with a wand. He is highly intelligent in the way that he thinks, as long as he applies himself it will also show, but that's the trick! He needs to apply himself to more than what he wants too.
