[IC] Deals with Death (RomanAria and IronFrost)

The god yawned smiling as the festival was tooday and he was always in a much happier mood. he smiled and looked at the girl "I know right, come on we still have some stuff to do before everyone come sin" he smiled as he picked her up and flew up and put her on a beam above everything "Ok see that beam over there, take this and throw it over, make a colorful streamers in the room" he grinned as when they finally finished everything was all set, the god opened the door and souls came from the feilds and happily walked in and chatted with thanked thanantos happily and they walked around and started talking to themselves, he saw Hades walking in with persephone and laughed gently "well if it isn't the big bad king of the underowlrd" he laugehd "and the very beaitful queen of the underworld as well" he said smiling gently as he was starting to make drinks for the spirits

Maria stares at the royalty of the underworld. Belatedly she realizes she should curtsy, or something, and hastily drops into a very clumsy curtsy. "Your Majesties." She mumbles. "Forgive my impertinence." She nearly drops her lyre and fumbles for it, in the process nearly falling. Gods, I couldn't be any clumsier if I was a bull in a china shop.

A spirit comes up to her, trying to tug her into a standing position. He chatters at her, and she vaguely understands that he's telling her she doesn't need to curtsy.
Hades resists the urge to laugh at the girl's discomfort. "Maria, darling. Don't curtsy. It's Festival. We're really informal on festival days."

Thanantos laughed and shook his head gently....but soon that laughter stopped and his body grew tense slightly as well as the spirits. Walking in was a male with dark brown eyes his height was tlaler then a normal human but his teeth where whgiter. Next to him stood a lady who wore a black festia like dress and smiled. Hypno who was near Thanantos shot over "Dad, Mom" he squealed happy and the two laughed and said hi as if he was their only son. thanantos eyes seigned with rage you could feel the cruelness of death cruling around the room but Erberus walked in and smiles "Hey Hades, whats going on my man?" he asked smiling, he looked at thanantos "Vodka with salt" he said treating him like a bartender, Thanantos was holding a glass which shattered as his grip was strong and grunted and grabbed the stuff needed and made it growling curses the entire time. Souls grew extremly uneasy as the dancing soon stopped and muttering and nervous sounds erupted everywhere.

Persephone looked at thanantos to keep it cool and smiels gently as she looked at the girl "you might want to keep your mouth shut right now" she whispers gently and then looked at Erberus and hades "well look at you two gents getting along better then the last time i saw you two at each others throats" she smirks.

Maria glanced at the two new deities. She figured they must have been Thanatos's parents. The tension raised to an almost unbearable level; there was a cracking sound and a tinkling one as bits of glass hit the floor. She hurried over behind the bar to clean up the mess of broken glass and then she gently took the bottles from Thanatos's hands lest he break something else. "Let me do it." She whispered, smiling at him. "Don't want any more broken glass on the floor." She flipped through the recipe book, trying to figure out what she was supposed to do. She'd never been a bartender; the only alcohol she'd ever handled was Isopropyl alcohol, and that was just in a medical capacity.

She overheard Persephone's comment and blinked, nodding. "Can I get you anything to drink, my lady?" She couldn't entirely hide the tremor in her voice, however, the tremor caused by being around so many gods and goddesses who wanted to kill each other.

Hades forced a chuckle. "It's only because my beautiful wife keeps me in check." he said to Persephone. Turning to Erebus, he said, "Erebus, how are you? It's been what... Millennia, hasn't it, since we've talked."

The alhols here where veru different and labled in greek and spanish as well as Thanantos was fluint in both of them. The god stood rigid , till Erberus eyes turned toward the girl "A girl thats interesting. Well I hope she can get the order in the next twenty seconds" he scowled gently as he wasn't the most paicent man in the world and belive me it was ablut to get worse and worse for her. After about a minute the god stormed over sharply "I have no clue who you are but-" Thanantos shot between them "Father stop , its not a big deal she is new to all of this give her a-" WACK , A sharp back hand into Thanantos sent the god flying through the bar and through the wall of the bar as well. Spirits shot behind hades in fear as Thanantos groaned in pain golden blood came from his back and he growled and stood up slowly , His anger had reached its limits, blasting forward he smashed his father through the wall and dwn they went off the hill, yelling and cursing and screaming and ripping at each other.

Nxy and hades ran out screaming for the two to stop "Thanantos, Erberus stop at once" she cried out in despertion to keep these two from kill ing each other. She screamed at them to stop but she knew this was going to happen eventually all th anger that those two had fo each other was about to show, and it wasn't going to be pretty. persephone ran out as well looking down the hill as the two god rolling down beating at each other with little to no mercy. souls screamed and cried out as ifthey had been aytacked as panic started in the festial.

Maria gasps, both hands going to her mouth. "Persephone, what do we do?" She sprints out the door of the house without waiting for an answer, watching the two gods grappling with each other rolling towards the river Styx. "Everyone, stay calm!" She shouts. "Just stay calm, all of you!"
She sprints down the hill, trying to fight her way between the two gods and make them quit hurting each other. "Stop it! Thanatos, Erebus, stop it! You'll kill yourselves!" She ducks under their flailing limbs, into the tussle, putting one hand on each of their chests and shoving, trying to get them to let go of each other. Several blows fell on her, bruising her pretty badly, but she didn't even feel it, so panicked was she. "Stop it! This is a festival, it's supposed to be fun! Not kill-your-son-kill-your-father day!"

The two gods broke apart but it was far from over, Thanantos was easier to calm down then Erberus, thanantos was bleeding on his wings and stomach. he scowled at his father sloghtly winced at the pain of his wings that one was half broken which would take a day to heal in godly time. The other though was glowing with shadows as he snarled.

"Out of my way" he blasted t her sharply but thanantos grabbed her and pulled his wings around her and was smashed backwards sharply going throigh the house and out the other way slamming into the gates of Hades. Erberus scoffted at the weak god and looked down at the girl "and who are you ? My son fancies you a bit eh" he snickered but was blown over by a massive white hound that roared at him fangs bared as it bit his arm and shook him around like a ragdoll. Cerberus crawled back over to the ground from the gates whimpering and whining as in his jaws was one very badly hurt thanantos both wings broken blood came from massive wounds and he made no movement.s The hound placed the god down and whined slightly and nudged him as the god made no movement what so ever.

Persepone asked Nxy to tak her husband home and sh agreed and grabbed Erberus and dragged him away , persephone shot over to Thanantos "you freaking idiot" she said but smiled slightly as she evluated the wounds and knew she had many herbal plants that would happen.

"Maria we need a lot of medical plants for the day, I think we shall do the festival another time right now if not the time" she mutters gently as she knew thanantos was in big trouble medical wise for the next eight hours. he would heal but if he slipped into Acoma this could be very very bad for the underowlrd. She then went to calm down Hades "hey easy Easy" she said rubbing his shoulders.

Maria nodded. "I have... I have a bit of vitakinesis... I might be able to heal some of the bad wounds. Which ones..." The broken wings would be terribly painful, but not life threatening. The big gouges, however...
She spread her hands over the worst ones, the ones across his chest and shoulders, and a blue glow flowed over the wounds, flickering and filling them in. The flesh regrew slowly, leaving just pale scars on the god's skin. Maria shivered, suddenly cold from using so much of her own life-force to heal Thanatos. She moved, and instantly winced, as pain shot across her chest and shoulders. That was the other part of her healing gift. She could heal the person, but their pain (though not their wounds) would be transferred to her for the duration of natural healing. It meant she often spend hours healing people and then weeks lying on a bed in agony. "Persephone, can you find the herbs... I don't want to leave him."

Persephone nodded taking herself to the garden and getting the herbs that would help as well as a sling to help the wing heal.

Thanatos gave a muttered "ow" but that was all. His eyes opened slightly everything was hazy and he fell into darkness

Maria met his eyes for just a second, before they closed again. She bit back the tears that suddenly sprang up. "Don't you dare go mushy." she muttered to herself. To distract herself, she looked at the broken wings. She'd healed most of the gouges, but the wings... The damage was pretty serious. Thanatos might not be able to fly if she didn't do something about them.
Gritting her teeth, knowing how badly this would hurt her, she set her hands over the wings, chanting in Latin. The blue light pushed the bones back into place, and she winced as the pain transferred into her back and ribs and arms, the closest parts of her body to wings. She took a shaky breath, letting tears she didn't even know she was shedding fall glittering onto the grass.

The god gave a shirek as a bone snapped his wing into place eyes snapped open "yeowch" he cried out rolling away panting in pain

[RomanAria]

Maria rolled her eyes. "At least you're alive to say ouch." She said dryly. She crawled across the grass to be next to him again. "Where does it still hurt?" she asked. She tried to keep her features neutral, trying to ignore the pain in her arms and back.

[IronFrost]

The god groaned gently "its fine I will be fine. My natural healing will kick in soon" said the god sitting up his wings flapped slightly but stayed less moving as he grunted.

[RomanAria]

Maria sighed. "What was that about? Why did he... That was your father, wasn't it? Why'd he freak out because I wanted to help you?"

[IronFrost]

"thats kind of what he does" said the god of death and sighed gently. "yea and there is a whole story behind it all" mutters eyes cold and tired as well.

[RomanAria]

Maria misjudges why his eyes are so cold, thinking she'd done something wrong. "How are we going to get you into the house... Oh." She whistled Cerberus over. "Cerberus, can you pick him up and put him through the bedroom window onto the bed? I'll go in and open it."
She raced through the house, opening the windows as wide as she could, laughing despite herself at the sight of Cerberus's giant head sticking through the window to put Thanatos on his bed.

The large three headed dog placed the wounded god of death on his bed and whined slightly and barked as thanatos chuckled and touched the hounds head"hey buddy, you got your job to do Cerbs, so on get to the gates, I belive Maria might have something for you " he smiled softly as he coughed hoarsely.

[RomanAria]

Maria smacked her forehead in exasperation. She raced downstairs, grabbed the enormous plushie, and went outside, holding it above her head for Cerberus. He grabbed it, leaving a large drool-trail down her back in thanks.
"Eww."
She ran back inside, and finally the pain caught up with her and left her leaning against a wall, winded from the aching burning in her arms and shoulders. "Are you going to be okay, Thanatos?" she asked, once she'd caught her breath enough to talk without squeaking.

"yeah I will be fine within a day" he whispers gently eyes closed slightly as he was in deep pain but it would fade before the pain got terrible. he smiled as he closed his eyes gently and said "you should get some sleep, my friend"
