Hanna is a calm, yet somewhat unnerving girl. She's a rational, free thinking, skeptical human being that has found that the world she lives in is getting harder and harder to really live in. From her somewhat brief four year experience as a Marine to now a UCCU Contractor, to say she has a lot of emotional baggage would be an understatement. Regardless, she's generally friendly and not someone of violent inclinations.

Taiga is feisty to say the least. She was owned once before and bares the scars on her back as evidence of that rather dark past. Taiga had bought by a man and his wife to work as a slave before the man's intentions for her use became less pure. As the woman was unable to be with child the man took it upon himself to impregnate Taiga. Taiga was extremely against this and thus where the punishment and later scars came in.

When Taiga was eighteen she had a baby boy. However, it was quickly realized that this boy was much like his mother and could shift. Not wanting the hideous creature the man and wife sold the boy, leaving Taiga heartbroken. This cycle repeated once more before Taiga couldn't handle it and slaughtered her owner when he attempted to try again.

Taiga does not trust humans and is not the type to submit.

Opal has spent her entire life in captivity. However, she was 'lucky' enough to have spent the last few years of that life in the Twin Blaze's Pet Shop which means she has been more or less protected from the horrible people that have been known to buy Shapeshifters. Opal has never been owned but was in a previous shop where she was kept in a very small cage for long period because of this, she didn't walk until she was nearly three years old. She is incredibly claustrophobic and can no longer stay in small spaces for long periods of time, this is partially due to the life that she has been living.

That was when Mavik and Shik can to her 'rescue' and took her off the seller's hands, who was more that willing to give up the crying baby.

Due to her young age, she hasn't been bought as no one wants to train her or teach her or deal with actually raising her. She doesn't mind though, never letting it get her down.
