RPGuild Hunger Games - I Don't Care Edition

Introduction

Rules are simple:
- Feed me your babies (characters) complete with pictures
- Once I get enough to appease me I close submissions
- I then go to the Hunger Games simulator for you, painstakingly screen shotting, organizing, and filing away the day-by-day results.
- I then post them here and we all have a gr8 chuckle m8

It'll also help if you also tell me what RP they're from in the event people from the same RP come over so I can lump them together. If not, oh well. You can also submit more than one. If all goes well I may do more of these and keep a statistics database on characters in the event they're reoccurring contestants, despite probably already having died at least once.

So having said that:
What is this Hunger Games Simulator?

If you're like me you've probably never read the Hunger Games not actually cared for the movie; having only watched the first when my sister was on a Hunger Games binge once. But what I have born witness too, participated in, and organized is an online "Hunger Games Simulator". A sort of dressed up randomness generator that determines who gets to die and who lives across the days of a Hunger Games, and how they die, and what happens. Usually I've seen this on 4chan on /mlp/ (where a small rabbit managed to kill everything large than itself). After which I ran them for Precipice of War which had the comical occurence of the Emperor of Germany crying himself to sleep at nights after failing to get it off with an American journalist chick.

"Seasons"

Season 1

Season 1 of the RPGuild hunger games brought together our first group of contestants. Its was an interesting season, with AaronMk's Yan Sing from Precipice of War coming out on top, decapitating his opponent - Lord Thespos of Regicide - with a sword as the other rival dies from the cold. Of special note was the moment when James Harrison - also of Precipice of War - set off an explosion that killer Superman.

As the founding season, it lays out for the crowd the initial placements.

Name: Eli Fournier

Age: 26

Appearance: Eli is clearly in peak physical condition, which is the result of constant physical training, though it's rare for him to actually be on a battlefield. His eyes are an icy blue, and tends to be rather uncomfortable for those who maintain any amount of eye contact with him. Like his eyes, is stare is cold, and makes it hard to imagine that the man who possesses these eyes could ever love anything. If one were to ignore his eyes, they could potentially say that he's a handsome man.

Personality: It is well documented that Eli Fournier possesses a genius-level intellect, but barely passes his routine psych evaluations. Even so, his recent victories have granted him much favor in the recent months, showing that torture, manipulation, and fear tactics that Fournier often uses when acquiring critical intelligence is condoned by Central Authority. No doubt adding further fuel to the sparks started by Veritate, or it would, if it wasn't halted by the propaganda machine, and well-placed bullets to the back of certain dissenters' skulls. Usually ordered by Fournier himself, of course. It seems that if there's anything that Eli enjoys, it's to play this game of cat-and-mouse, with other people's lives in the balance. Unfortunately for some, he's horribly efficient at this, and he has been given command of a number of the most notorious operations conducted in the recent years against Veritate, sometimes even given authority over other higher ranking officers. Beyond this, on the first of every month, he always visits his mother at the mental health institution that she has been held at for the last five years, and he never misses a visit.

Brief History: Eli often finds it rather difficult to recall his early childhood, or at least before he was three, but one memory has been forever burned into his mind- his father's face and those piercing blue eyes that he inherited. It was not a face of a father, or what one would normally think of one, but a face of an extremely complicated and tormented man. All that he remembers of his father, is this face, but he has been forever unable to place his father's face in any particular location, it is just there, floating in endless space. His mother had always told him that his father had died when Eli was three in some sort of tragic mining accident. The specifics of his father's death never seem to ever be brought up, and Eli has always found it nearly impossible to press her any further before she breaks into tears and complex emotions. Old family friends, the same ones who always seem to point out that Eli looks so much like his father, confirm his mother's story, so there's clearly little room for any doubt, but the feeling still resides throughout Eli's being. It just seems that he's overly suspicious by nature.

Eli's only family is that of his mother, which is another reason why he takes care to not rile her up. He had a younger brother named Ezekiel, but he contracted the sickness, and he didn't even last a week before it completely consumed him. The next day, his body, clothing, and nearly any other reminder of his brother had to be burnt, as dictated by the Central Authority. It was pointless to resist this regulation- Eli had seen a woman attempt to do so, and all it got her was the opportunity to be burned along with her dead husband. It was Eli's responsibility to prevent his mother from following a similar fate. Ezekiel burned, and Eli cried for the last time. It wasn't exactly surprising, considering how close the two brothers had been. They created plenty of mischief, and thanks to Eli, they were never caught, no doubt causing the two boys to move onto their next scheme. All scrapes, cuts, and bruises was the result of the other brother, and possibly the only thing unbreakable in the entire universe was the bond between these two brothers. The day his brother died, Eli stopped smiling, perhaps unable to, he grew serious and his blue eyes that were once so filled with life suddenly became cold, exactly the that he always saw in his memories.

As his mother grew increasingly unstable, it soon fell upon his shoulders to ensure their survival. Although a work permit was required for a boy of his age to work, he'd never be able to afford one, but it mattered little. Outside of things pertaining to the sickness and taxes, Central Authority bore little interest to those at the bottom of society. This was greatly to Eli's favor, as he began working as a courier at the the age of 8, less than a week after the burning of his brother. The life of a courier is very much double-sided. On one side, they are tasked with delivering important message or packages. However, a courier's true purpose is often hidden behind these messages and packages, since they are tasked with the acquisition of valuable information and the selling of it to any multitude of information brokers. A dangerous career for a man, let alone of boy of his age, but, well, he was hardly a normal boy.

Eli had always been extremely intelligent, easily on prodigious levels. His intelligence, age, and former escapades with his brother all aided him in movement across the slums of the City, gaining the the most valuable commodity of all- information. This information was about nearly anything you could possibly think of, and the buyers were the same. Most brokers remained in the shadows when these transactions occurred, obviously using this gathered information for less than honorable purposes. A good courier learned to forget such information, though in Eli's case, he never forgot what he saw or heard, besides those memories before he was three. He pushed such information into the corners of his mind, always available to be accessed at a later date. Despite this downfall, his photographic memory was more of a benefit than a hindrance, as it guaranteed  that his information would be nearly the same as getting it from the source itself. This allowed him to have access to more money than he could have ever possibly imagined. Such a giant increase in capital would surely gain unwanted attention from Central Authority, and so most of what was earned was hidden well in certain locations in the slums, even to this day.

When the day came to take the sector aptitude test, he was able to take the advanced version, after he pooled a large chunk of  the money he had earned from the legitimate side of couriering. With almost no education than the routine mandatory classes, it came as an unpleasant surprise to most when Eli achieved a nearly perfect score, easily gaining him entry into any sector of his choosing. Maybe this could have impressed his mother, if she wasn't wired on some new drug or stimulant that she bought with the money she made on the. . . side. Without hesitation, he chose the Military Sector, and specifically that of military intelligence, no doubt influenced by the side job that he was so proficient at.

At the beginning, he was scrutinized, and constantly put under the microscope. It was to be expected. The poor were supposed to stay poor, and the elite were supposed to stay elite. It was part of the natural order to most, the same as the fact that the sky was blue instead of some other color. He gladly rose to the challenge. The brutish physical training itself broke many, but Eli's body almost seemed to be suited to such training, almost as if it was hardwired into his DNA. Thus, he excelled in this regard, though he was outpaced by the genetically modified trainees, whose role in society had been decided from the time that they were only an embryo on a petri dish. Though, in a sense, that was sort of true for everyone else as well. Clearly, Eli's true potential was revealed through his studies, much to the chagrin of his instructors and peers whom had always expected him to fail, despite his aptitude score.

Eli eventually assumed the rank of lieutenant as an intelligence officer who specializes in the acquisition of high level information, interrogations, and capture of top level enemy combatants. As such, he has been at the fore front of a multitude of recent atrocities, including the infamous Downside Purge. It involved the total and ruthless massacre of any entire block of bottom class citizens to root out rebels. How directly involved he was in this is largely unclear. His tactical and analytical mind has caused Veritate an immense amount of pain and grief. His death would deal the City a massive blow in this continuous war. Should any assassin be given the order to kill him. . . well, Eli Fournier gladly accepts the challenge.

Name: Evärrsen Arkeontar

Age: 2678

Gender: Male

Appearance: Evärrsen has long dark brown hair that is usually tied in the back of his head. Other than the scars that have marred much of his body and some of his face, it has to be said that he is extremely handsome, even by elf standards, something he inherited from his mother who possesses an otherworldly beauty. The most noticeable thing about him is his left eye, which has a genetic defect that makes it look like a cat's eye. It has little impact on his actual vision, however. Finally, in the middle of his forehead, is elvish lettering that signifies that he is a banished, preventing him from ever returning home unless he is ever pardoned.

Personality: Although it's difficult to set Evärrsen off, when you do, his rage knows no bounds, and it is an incredible undertaking to calm him down. Outside of this, he is highly intelligent, and experienced from the course of his life, even though he is considered to be quite young, at least based on the lifespan of most elves. Even though he doesn't play a musical instrument, he has a deep appreciation for music, but hates to sing, despite being told that he has an amazing singing voice. He possesses a strategic mind, and is always planning his next move, and he rarely acts on a whim, especially if he hasn't considered and weighed the alternatives beforehand. He also possesses an uncanny ability for observation and is usually able to read other people quite easily. Despite the many things that has happened to him during his life, he still appreciates others and the world, even though if he ever the opportunity for revenge, he is sure to act upon it.

Bio: Being a bastard, Evärrsen's birth and continued existence has hardly been appreciated by anyone other than his mother, who just so happens to be the princess and heir apparent to the Elvish Kingdom of Eskaeas'sir. Given that his grandfather is High King Elävvr, he was a source of great disappointment, given than Elvish women generally are only capable of bearing one or two children, and being forced to legitimize his bastard grandson would be a significant blow to his status. His childhood was made almost unnecessarily difficult, being kept out of site, and was only able to be contacted by his mother and a handful of essential servants. Such a childhood turned him into a daydreamer, and despite the fact that he was locked away in his small room, he always managed to imagine himself on some grand adventure in lands faraway, fueled by the many books that kept him company. The majority of these stories were that of Elvish legends and folk tales, so Evärrsen's knowledge of the outside world was extremely lacking. The first defining moment that changed Evärrsen's life when his mother finally gave birth to a legitimate son with the husband that his grandfather had forced his mother to marry right after his birth. Despite the bad blood that he now has with his younger brother, and especially with his grandfather, Evärrsen is well aware of the fact that his brother's birth granted him true freedom and he took full advantage of that independence.

Although he was very sheltered and confined during his early childhood, Evärrsen more or less was given the freedom of the entire palace. He was, despite being a bastard, viewed as eventual successor to the throne, whether or not his grandfather wished to admit it or not. He was trained in arms like any good princeling should, and quickly excelled with the bow and blade, which was quite a relief to his mother, whom was famous for her mastery of the Elvish sword. As such, his mother was often his tutor in arms, since she is regarded as one of greatest warriors that the Elves have to offer, and it was obviously fueled by her great dislike for more lady-like pursuits, such as embroidery and the healing arts. Also, since she was the only child of the High King, roles usually intended for males often fell upon her shoulders. In this regard, whoever Evärrsen's father was must have been quite extraordinary to capture the heart of his mother, who was often more content with stabbing men than embracing them. Such training would be a great benefit, because he would soon see real combat during the time that his mother became pregnant with his younger brother.

An elf's perception of time is vastly different than that of a human, and many other sentient races. Thus, the Last War of Men and Elves, happened so many years ago that its events have become legendary for humans, but for elves. . . there are many who lived through it and even fought in the war, Evärrsen included. The state of affairs before the war was considerably different than they are now. At this time, the greated kingdom men was that of Gendkedor, and those who are full-blooded Gendkedorians (which was mostly limited to the nobility at this point) experienced a much longer lifespan than that of normal humans, being able to live up to 300-350 years to age, whereas an average human rarely lives past 60-80 years. Such an extended lifespan was a gift to them from the gods for their contribution during the Great Wars, but those occurred long ago, even by an elf's standards. In any case, it is difficult to say what sparked such a war between elves and men, who had been unfaltering allies during the Great Wars, though many blame petty border disputes. Many legends blame that darkness that ensnared the heart of the Gendkedorian king, or that of the cruel and distant Elvish High King, but the truth of the matter rests within the accidental death of the human crown prince whilst his stay with the Elves. The real circumstances revolving his death is still unknown, but in any case, after negotiations proved be be fruitless, the prince's death resulted in a war of retribution.

Evärrsen mostly saw service as an elvish archer on the frontlines, early in the war, possibly a ploy by his grandfather in hope that he would get himself killed. That obviously didn't happen, and by the end of the war, he had risen to becoming captain of an elite archer unit. As for the war itself, both nations had went into it at the height of their strength, and such a crushing defeat to the humans probably couldn't have been possible if it weren't for the dwarves throwing their lot in with the elves, and as such, by war's end, the human kingdom would be no more. Gendkedor would fall into itself, and break apart in over a dozen different nation-states, with neither race crossing into each other's territory for many years, and even today, two races who once locked arms in brotherhood are still are highly suspicious of one another.

Even though his brother's birth had completely written him out of the equation of succession, Evärrsen and his brother rarely found common ground, probably due to Evärrsen's natural ability when it came to archery and swordsmanship. His growing popularity despite being a bastard certainly did nothing to cool down the rivalry, after Evärrsen's repeated victories against the orcs in the mountains following the fall of Gendkedor. It eventually came to a head over a girl. The girl was a daughter of an accomplished Elvish general, and even to this day, Evärrsen claims that she possessed a beauty that could rival a goddess, and eyes that that reminded him of a shimmering pool of water. It was clear to many at court that he had a clear attraction to her, no doubt a rumor that reached his younger brother's ears, who was already growing tired of being constantly overshadowed by a bastard. After several years of Evärrsen attempting to court her, it all boiled over when he found his brother kissing her in private, and while being completely blinded in anger, he proceeded to nearly beat his brother to death.

This resulted in Evärrsen's immediate exile from Eskaeas'sir, and soon he found himself wandering throughout the lands of Man, primarily working as a mercenary and bounty hunter, slowly, but surely building the legend of Evärrsen Cat-Eye, partly because of the unique defect in his left eye, but mostly because of his almost legendary skill with a Elvish bow and ability to read people. After being a veteran of dozens of wars, he's made quite a name for himself in human lands, all the while waiting for a pardon from his grandfather so that he may one day return to his homeland. Such a pardon has not come since his exile over five hundred years ago, so, as such, he long ago embraced the reality that he will probably never return to Eskaeas'sir, and has thrown himself into his grim work.

Group: Doll Hunter

Name: Gehrman Steinback

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Personality: Gehrman is a cold and calculating type, preferring to observe and learn of his prey before starting to hunt it. He has a fascination for the occult, and is an ardent supporter of outlandish and even insane conspiracy theories related to the supernatural. Nonetheless, he is driven by his ambition on destroying Dolls and their supposed mind-control over the "Doll Masters". He may even deem the Doll Masters beyond salvation if they seem unreasonable, believing that they have been completely overtaken by Doll influence, and thus seeks to end the spread of such corruption witch-hunter-style.

Backstory: Gehrman was always interested in the supernatural since early youth, which his father, who was an inventor, tried to discourage in him, seeing it as the devil's route. However, after a mysterious incident which left his father dead and mother crippled, with no culprit to be found, Gehrman immediately suspected entities who were out of this world, and began to search for any way he could exact revenge on them. He found out about the Dolls, and their weakness to nails, and set out to cleanse the world of their apparent malice.

Skills: Gehrman has profound knowledge over the occult, and has good awareness for tracking his prey. He is also a bit of an inventor, having created his nail-based weaponry using his father's research notes. He is skilled in close combat, able to stand up against opponents most humans would be unable to, and also capable of using his strength and precision to successfully punch his nails like a witch-hunter would drive a stake through a vampire's heart.

Weapons: Wields a nailgun on one hand, specially crafted for hunting Dolls and their ilk. On his other hand Gehrman wields the Nail Driver, another weapon crafted against Doll-like creatures, which is a close-combat weapon used to puncture the opponent with a large stake-like nail using steam-powered motors. The weapon is designed to be held over the arm like a gauntlet, and can also be used to block attacks like a shield:

Maria Goethe

Name: Maria Goethe

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance:
Maria uses a wheelchair to feign the appearance of a paraplegic. She uses her magic to move the wheelchair around.

Personality: Maria casts an outward appearance of a cheery, kind girl, always smiling while talking in a bubbly voice. However, beneath this social mask lies a mind broken by years of abuse into a dark and ruthless girl, her empathy withered away and her trust in other people hard to come by, devolving into paranoia when she is stressed. She has a fear of inferiority, and combats this by being driven by her lust for power, her ambition being her escape from the creeping despair that silently clutches her heart.
While she keeps a sociable appearance about herself, in truth she doesn't have a lot of friends, and keeps her relationships with other people strictly as business.
However, she has started to grow fond of her maid Fantine, and won't tolerate any cases of her mistreatment.

Bio: Maria was thrown into an orphanage before she could even remember the faces of her parents, who died shortly after her birth. She was brutally beaten and abused at a regular pace by the personnel there. However, before she was driven to an abyss of despair, she met a boy by the name of Klaus there, who promised to protect her and get them out of the orphanage. In time, she developed feelings for the boy.
One night they attempted an escape, but were about to be caught when Maria met an Incubator. Seeing that Klaus was caught, she made her wish and the two of them escaped successfully.
Later, Klaus was caught by an anti-MG mob and tortured to death due to his connections to Magical Girls after following Maria. Maria found out about this, and became determined to rule the world and take revenge on the people who took Klaus away from him, by any means possible.
Over the following years, Maria managed to worm her way to the position of a lieutenant in the Aurora City Authority through her persuasion skills, guile and political maneuvers, even resorting to underhanded tactics such as backstabbing and using torture to squeeze valuable secrets out of any hapless victim she managed to capture alive. Of course, she doesn't plan on stopping there, either...

Her domain includes the territory of a magical girl named Eponine, who has requested her home to be placed under Maria's, and by extension, Aurora's protection and rule and that her sister is given a place of refuge in Maria's HQ. In return, Maria demanded Eponine to swear fealty to her, and that Fantine will serve as her personal maid.

Theme: A Stranger I Remain

Skills: Maria could be said to have a silver tongue, for she is very convincing and manipulative with her words, sprouting seeds of doubt and despair in any heart she can pierce with her angelic voice. She also has a profound knowledge of politics and tactics, and specializes in psychological warfare.

Weapons: Maria keeps a small dagger under her dress as a paranoid measure, though due to her status as a Magical Girl, rarely uses it.

Other: Maria loves sweet things such as cakes and cookies, and spends a lot of her free time snacking on them.

Magical Girl Appearance:
Maria keeps her eye-design and creepy demeanour while as a Magical Girl. Her costume also has more shades of dark-green and black.

Wish: "I wish to move Klaus away from his fate."

Weapons: A scythe with an intricate, flowery design going from the hilt all the way to the blade's end. Can be manipulated to change the position of the blade, making for a surprisingly adaptive weapon despite its unwieldiness.

Powers: Telekinesis. Maria may use her magic to control the movement of any object or person in her line of sight, including herself. For example, she can fly through the air, throw and draw distant targets and even freeze people in place. However, she needs to have one of her hands unoccupied and spread open for her to cast the magic from her palm and her fingers for multitasking and subtle movements, making her unable to use this power if her hands are unusable or occupied. Breaking her focus also results in the spell's canceling.
She may also perform a Force Choke-like spell on normal humans which Magical Girls are immune to.

Sahle

Sahle (1946-Present) was Emperor of Ethiopia from 1974 until is deposition in 1976. Son of Emperor Yohannes Iyasu, Sahle was coronated as Emperor shortly after his fathers 1974 assassination during the pro-democracy riots that had been taking place since 1972. Sahle fled to Austria shortly after his coronation, where he fostered contacts with Europeans nations and began to undo his father's work of breaking tied in Europe. This move made him unpopular, especially after he made a deal handing the Congo to the Germans and returning under the protection of British Petroleum in exchange for mineral rights. The Ethiopian military rebelled under the leadership of Ras Hassan, and popular support in the country fell towards Sahle's younger brother Yaqob, who was seen as a potential rival of Sahle for the crown. After riots caused the loss of Somalia and Swahililand to Hassans rebellion, European support was withdrawn and Sahle was ousted from power and replaced with the younger Yaqob.

Sahle currently lives in exile as the drummer in a blues-jazz band known as the Abyssinian Blues Band. He currently goes by the name of Samel.

As a character, Sahle is known for his immaturity and promiscuity, which saddled with his incompetence made him a controversial character in Ethiopian politics even before he became Emperor.

Marcel Hondo-Demissie

Marcel Hondo-Demissie (1930-1977) was an Ethiopian warlord who became world famous for leading the failed Katangan Rebellion. Born in the village of Kongolo, his childhood was troubled. His mother was raped and killed by a Belgian officer, and his father was executed when he attempted to avenge his wife, orphaning Marcel at the age of six. He was taken in and raised by the local missionary. As the rebellion heated up in the thirties, Marcel would be caught up in it when his friends were captured by the colonial forces. He led a raid on the barracks where his friends were being held, where he discovered that they had been killed. Motivated by vengeance, him and his remaining friends killed the garrison and burnt down the barracks. Afterwards, he became a rebel leader during the long Congolese rebellion against the colonizing Belgians, where he gained a reputation for leading devastating ambushed before melting back into the countryside. This reputation earned him the moniker "The Katanga Ghost". After Ethiopia's annexation of the Congo in 1970, Marcel settled down in Katanga with his wife, Cassandre, where they had a daughter, Iphigenia.

The death of his wife and daughter during the ill-fated 1971 Kinshasa uprising sent him into a spiralling depression, causing him to grow disenchanted with the Ethiopian-led regime. The chaos of the Ethiopian Civil War created the perfect impetus for rebellion.

Throughout the mid 70's, Marcel fostered a rebel movement in Katanga with the intention of creating an Anarchist Commune, where the evils of government and power would no longer be present to hurt the people. It was during this period that his decreased mental state drove him to wear his wives dresses on occasion, a practice he would continue as it began to become attached to his public persona, where he had gained a new nickname, "The Rouge General". At the beginning of 1977, rising tensions over the corruption that had grown rampant in the local government gave Marcel his rebellion. The war continued over the course of the year, where Marcel lead his troops in victories that devastated the Ethiopian forces, eventually coming to a brief peace in the fall during concerns of a Spanish invasion of Ethiopia. During this time, Marcel established his the Katanga Free State.

The peace was short lived, as the other rebel leaders conspired to kill Marcel and parcel the anarchist state between themselves. They drew him and the forces of those loyal to him into the country under the pretenses of tribal warfare, ambushing him near the village of Fungurume. Though the loyalist forces won the initial battle, they were eventually ambushed and captured on their way into Luba territory. Loyal Bemba leader Leon Kapwepwe was killed in the fighting. Marcel was captured and initially sentenced to death, but news of a new Ethiopian assault to be led by Ras Hassan caused the fallen Katangan alliance to resolidify. Marcel was put back in charge, but with much less power. Hassan's strategy of harassing civilians rather then leading an assault on the Katanagan forces caused the Katangan alliance to break up again, with the Msiri of the Garangenze people leading a hot headed assault of the Ethiopian forces. Hassan offered the remaining Katangan forces a reward for turning in their leader, forcing Marcel to flee with his remaining allies. Marcel was officially captured, but managed to commit suicide with a smuggled knife by slitting his throat. His death marked the end of the Katangan independence movement.

At 5'9 and 180 lbs, Yuri is of average height and stocky build. His features are rough and worn, his nose indicating that it has been broken more than once in the past. A shock of shaggy brown hair barely conceals a set of surgical scars running down his scalp. Shifting brown eyes and a crooked set of chipped teeth fill out the rest of his thuggish features, along with the various tattoos on his arms, chest, and lower neck. Along his back, from the base of his spine to the base of his skull, his spine seems overly large and misshapen, and a metallic coupling peeks out from the back of his neck.

Skillset:
Along with training in firearms and hand-to-hand combat gained from a brief stint in the Russian Army, Yuri has gained valuable skills in investigation, interrogation, cutting deals and criminal procedures from his time as an enforcer for the Solntsevskaya Bratva. He is also adept at cutting off any emotions he would see as interfering with his work, whether that work involves disposing of a body or torturing a police informant.

He can speak Russian and English well, and knows a smatterign of German and French.

History
Yuri was born In Saint Petersburg, to a struggling working class family. And even from a young age, he had behavioral issues. He took no joy in his parent's love, and seemed to do all he could to torment them. Even as his behavior became worse and worse, his parents shrugged it off. After all, children could be cruel. Though, they did not realize the extent of his cruelty until they saw him, gleefully smashing in the head of a stray cat, on the side of the road.

At the age of 13, Yuri Fedorovich Maximov was shipped off to a correctional institute by his beleaguered family. It was then that he fell in love with the military culture that seemed to pervade his new surroundings, and after graduating from high school, he joined the Russian Army. It was through experiencing training, and everyday soldier life, that Yuri became disenchanted with the one thing that had captivated him as a bot. He had fallen in love with the pride that came with being a warrior, but chafed under another's command. When his contract ended, he left the service, and took the advice of a man he had befriended during training: find the Bratva, tell them I sent you.

The next few reports of Yuri were sparse, seeing as he had dropped off the grid not long after his discharge. Photos of him came up, in connection to several murders, robberies, and drug rings, stretching from Moscow to Monaco. The incident that brought him to the attention of the Vigil, however, is very well-recorded.

During a hunt, one Vigil killteam found Yuri and a cell of the Bratva engaged with the target. Undeterred by his more heavily armed comrades being torn to shreds, Yuri managed to plunge a knife into the eye of the target before being thrown against a wall and receiving fractures in his ribs, skull, and spinal column. Though he was wounded, the action distracted the target long enough for the killteam to act, and he was picked up for medical treatment.

When told of what he had fought, and what the Vigil as, Yuri was all too eager to join.

Psychological Profile:
Yuri shows a heavy predisposition towards violence, and a lack of regard for the safety of himself and others. His primary motivation, other than violence, is often instant gratification of some sort, in the form of money, alcohol, games, or various other “rewards”. His default mood is one of apathy, which can be covered up easily in order to smooth over negotiations or aid him in his work. Though he usually has a problem with authority figures, he has little problem with the Vigil, most likely owing to his incident. He is also not averse to working in groups, though he prefers to participate in the “fun parts” such as interrogation and fighting.

Modifications:
Communications suite, HUD and neural-computer, all standard issue – Vigil agents are able to text by thinking it among each other on a heavily encrypted wireless network. In fact, the computer works off brain impulses and is easily one of the most sophisticated and useful implants they have; what's more, its capabilities have yet to be fully exploited. The downside of this implant is that it includes a cortex bomb with an anti-tampering device. A captured agent can set it off, destroying the hardware inside, or a signal from control can do the same. This is to prevent the enemy from learning the capabilities of implanted agents.
Internal air supply and aerial toxin filter -- this also has the added advantage of making the agent immune to vampire pheromones, as some types of vampires are known to use this to seduce their prey.
Blood/liquid toxin filter -- the obvious is at work here -- vampires use their blood as a means of controlling mortals, and this system (and everyone, even non field agents, in the Vigil organization have this implant) screens out one of most subtle weapons a vampire has, rendering them functionally immune to being controlled through ingested blood the way mortal thralls of a vampire might be.
Eye augmentation; a HUD showing all sorts of system data, such as the status of implants, as well as allowing for low-light and ultra-sound modes of vision, the latter being thought to be more effective than thermographics when dealing with vampires, who tend to run cold if they haven't fed lately.
Facial recognition database, using a high-resolution, high-speed camera added to the ocular impact and a five terrabyte cranially-implanted solid state hard drive, designed to allow ease of recognition for vampires and suspected vampire accomplices, as well as aid in general investigation. Hard drive must be periodically sweeped for irrelevant pictures.
Pheremone and chemical scent detector, used to aid in interrogation as well as help track targets marked by a specific scent.
Spine-integrated medical suite, including coagulant, stimulant, general and local anaesthetics, and, in cases where the agent is compromised, a “kill switch” package of toxins remote-activated by off-site handlers. With the exception of the “kill switch”, the medical suite dispenses medication based off of a wide variety of medical stimuli, with the intent of either healing minor wounds or stabilizing the agent in preparation for medical care.
Reinforced and repaired spinal cord, ribs, and cranium. Capable of withstanding heavy impacts and crushing pressure.

Equipment:
Mimetic Camouflage (Predator) coat, though this is designed to look more like a trenchcoat -- no doubt some project engineer with a penchant for the dramatic, or an interest in fashion design. The coat is actually stylish, which serves a dual purpose as vampires tend to dress stylishly and surround themselves with the stylishly dressed. This allows Vigil agents one more edge. Of course, they call it the Predator Coat. Because the engineers are geeks. (This is a standard issue Vigil item)
Modular, caseless assault rifle/carbine. Bullpup, caseless ammunition, synched with existing implants and capable of mounting a variety of accessories including a 25mm grenade launcher whose munitions range from conventional high explosive to nano-guided scattered mines. It also syncs with HUD implants for improved accuracy in a mechanism similar to a bluetooth link. The trigger is electric and the weapon includes a biometric security system; anyone but someone authorized to handle it and it will blow; that is a standard feature on most any weapon the Vigil has in service with its teams. A number of electronic accessories, including a PDA tablet and other items to assist in making physical connection with computer equipment. (This is a standard issue Vigil item)
Grenades, mostly white phosphorus. The organization has designed a 'grenade' that involves a strobing UV light that damages vampires -- it is known as 'the disco ball'.
Adaptive fluid ceramic armor, worn under street clothes. The armor consists of “plates” of high-density polymer with ceramic fluid suspended between them, which are fluid during normal movement and rigid when struck, allowing both mobility and protection from bullets and blunt impact.
Small caliber concealable pistol, with two 6-shot magazine of .22 caliber rounds. Each round is filled with tungsten filaments, designed to scatter upon entry, shredding bone and organs upon impact.

Personality:Superman is commonly seen as a brave and kind-hearted hero with a strong sense of justice, morality and righteousness. He adheres to a strict moral code often attributed to the small town American values with which he was raised, thanks to his adoptive parents. His commitment to operating within the law has been an example to many other heroes but has stirred resentment among others, who refer to him as the "big blue boy scout." Superman can be rather rigid in this trait, causing tensions between himself and many of the so called "Anti-heroes" he works alongside.

To protect his secret identity, Superman has constructed a persona in his civilian identity as Clark Kent. To the world at large, Clark is a mild-mannered and clumsy person.

Having lost his home world of Krypton, Superman is very protective of Earth, and especially of Clark Kent’s family and friends. This same loss, combined with the pressure of using his powers responsibly, has caused Superman to feel lonely on Earth (and in the universe at large), despite his many friends, and his parents. The arrival of Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) to Earth in recent years had relieved some of said loneliness.

Something significant worth noting is that Superman rarely goes all out. Most of the time, he holds back considerably, out of fear that he could kill his opponent and/or threaten bystanders and his allies.

Superhuman strength: Superman has the strength to destroy small planets, and has shown to be able to move Earth.

Invulnerability: Superman is either resistant or immune to many different kinds of damage due to an invisible bio-electric forcefield that covers his body, mere milimeters from his clothing and skin. The shield is capable of surviving nuclear warheads, allowing Superman to fly through the sun, and even survive a supernova.

Flight and Superspeed: Superman is capable of flying at speeds faster than light itself while in a vacuum. On the surface of a planet, however, he is limited to hypersonic speeds. (Around 2000 miles per second.)

Enhanced senses: Superman's senses are capable of reaching across entire planets, if he concentrates on using said sense.

Heat vision: Superman is capable of projecting beams of intense heat from his eyes, which are said to have the upper limits of the heat of the sun. He is also capable of shrinking the beams' size and preforming a lobotomy through a person's eye, without hurting them.

NOTE: The E-kip device implanted in Superman's neck cuts his physical strength and durable in half. It now takes time for Superman to accelerate to FTL speeds, making his combat speed only hypersonic instead of light speed. Superman's freeze breathe and heat vision can't reach their upper limits, and it takes longer for Superman to absorb yellow solar energy than without the E-kip installed. In terms of strength, think slightly better than the Superman in the Justice League cartoons.

Experimental Kryptonian Containment Device: A small chip installed into the back of Superman's neck, the machine acts as a power equalizer and 'kill switch.' The device works by constantly irradiating Superman with small amounts of red sun radiation, as well as being enchanted by powerful magic; this combination keeps Superman from using his full power. The EKCP (E-kip) was created by UMMA as a way to monitor Superman, and keep his powers in check. They theorized that if S.E was able to take control of Superman's mind, he would become a legitimate threat to UMMA's very existence. Inside the device is also a piece of green kryptonite surrounded by lead. If UMMA's leadership, for some reason, needed a way to stop Superman completely, they could activate the kryptonite and eject its radiation into Superman's brain. This will instantly bring Superman to human levels of strength and block off the use of his other powers, as well as putting him through intense pain. The kryptonite will take time to kill Superman, however.

Superman is the most powerful being on planet Earth, an alien immigrant named Kal-El from the planet Krypton who was raised in Smallville, Kansas, to become an American superhero. Raised with high moral ideals, he uses his incredible strength, speed, flight and various other superpowers to fight evil and protect the innocent. In his civilian identity he is Clark Kent, a mild-mannered reporter working for the Daily Planet in Metropolis. He is a founding member of the Justice League of America and a charter member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th Century.

A few months after Darkseid's defeat and the formation of the Justice League, Superman found himself confronted by an alternate version of Mister Mxyzptlk, an omnipotent cosmic trickster, who enjoys screwing with his reality's Superman. The being claimed that he had become bored of his universe's Superman, and had decided to use Kal-El as his new entertainment. After an entire day of being stalked and harassed by Mister Mxyzptlk, Superman attacked him. Mister Mxyzptlk, panicked by Superman's anger, reacted by teleporting him out of the DC multiverse. Superman found himself in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by unfamiliar worlds. When he came in contact with UMMA, he learned that his multiverse was in fact but a small piece of the actual multiverse at large, on the other side of what his multiverses' gods called the 'Source Wall.' Upon discovering this, Superman established a working relationship with UMMA and became one of their agents (though his true loyalties lie with the Justice League and earth.) He has devoted himself to protecting the Multiverse at large, working hand in hand with the rest of UMMA to defeat the Shadow Entity.

Superman, despite his new obligations to UMMA, remains in frequent contact with the Just League on earth using advanced quantum entanglement communications technology. He is on constant watch for the return of Darkseid and the armies of Apokolips.
