Hello All! :)
Luxx here, thank you for taking a peek at this thread. I've been creating art and what-not for years now and although I've been on the site for quite a long time, I've never gotten around to posting any of my work here.

But I just wanted to pop in and say:
Your work is absolutely amazing. So many of your images have such a soft, surreal feel. :) They're really a pleasure to look at. I know you've probably heard this a million times before, but god! So pretty! <3 You're amazing!
Pardon my curiosity, but are the characters all part of a story concept you might be writing? Gareth and Lauralie's interactions seem quite interesting, haha. Congratulations on bringing them to life in my eyes with just a couple of showcased drawings!

Tl;dr: Oh my god, oh my god. You're amazing. I hold you the revered master of hair and skin texturing now. Because freckles. And just. Yes. Yes everywhere. Alright, fangirling over for the moment.

Actually, the characters are based off of a 1x1 roleplay I'm part of on this site. The roleplay had been going on for a while now and I've decided I'd like to turn it into a comic. Still not sure where I'll be posting the comic, maybe Tapastic or Smackjeeves, and probably on my Deviant account, but I was actually planning on getting started on it within the next couple of weeks or so.~

(Oh, and on a side note, if you actually wanted a commission, you can still request one. ^^ I'm doing them for free, I was never expecting payment, I'd just like to get some practice.)

If I stopped drawing because other people were a little more skilled than me, I wouldn't even be close to where I am today. You have to be positive if you ever want to get any better. You should look at other art and feel inspired, not upset. It's difficult, but if you have a passion for drawing then you shouldn't just give up.
