Attention all Lamenters, hark brothers for I bring ill tidings. It is I, Malakim Phoros your chapter master. Brothers, we have been abandoned. Our brother chapter, the Mortificators have left the system, refusing to fight by the side of a chapter of the 21st founding. They declare us cursed, and their morbid warriors refuse to aid us, even when the archenemy bears down upon the planet Corillia, their superstition has driven them away. Now you ask if we to shall leave, as we will soon be outnumbered and outgunned, in a fight equivalent to one against ten thousand. No brothers, we will not run. We, proud sons of Sanginius, the first of his progeny to be free of the Black rage and Red thirst, do not run from any enemy! Let them come! We will defend the people of Corillia as the Emperor has commanded of us! For those we cherish, we die in glory!

Greetings brothers! Welcome to Corillia, the first last stand of many. For those of you who are not here from the interest check here's a little info
We are Space marines in the Lamenters chapter, a successor chapter of the blood angels, created as a part of the 21st founding. Also, the Lamenters are the only Blood Angels successor chapter to be free of the Black rage and Red thirst. However, it is plagued by what can only be called the worst luck in the galaxy, and Corillia was one of the first doomed campaigns of the Lamenters.
After being called back from their self imposed crusade by the high lords of Tera, the Lamenters were paired with the Mortificators chapter and charged with the defence of Corillia during Abadons 9th black crusade in M.38. However, the superstitious Mortificators refused to fight alongside one of the chapters created during the "cursed" 21st founding, and abandoned Corillia and the Lamenters before the Black legion even showed up. Despite this, the Lamenters elected to stay and defend Corillia and it's people from the forces of Archenemy.
Long story short, eventually an Ultramarines strike force arrived to help fully drive back the Black Legion. By the time they arrived the Lamenters chapter had been reduced to just 200 battle brothers.
The RP will begin at the start of the siege of Corillia shortly before the arrival of the Black legion, and hopefully end at the arrival of the Ultramarines

Rules
1.No god moding, space marines are far from invincible
2.No drama in the OOC, drama between characters in the IC is fine, any OOC arguments are to be taken to pm if they must happen
3.Death is possible, we are just 1,000 loyalists against a huge chaos force. I will never force anyone to die, but know it is possible
4.Be polite to other players
