Battle will take place in the Moschet Museum:
Name: The Moschet Museum
Size: Outside arena floor space is 50 x 60 feet wide covered by mountains that reach for miles, indoors is a 120x60 feet hall
Properties: The outdoor arena has destructible stone structures and is always night time, the indoors has rickety upper level platforms and a large pit at the end of the museum, this pit is endless. Other than the mountain the Arena is fully destructable. You will start in the outdoor arena and the large entrances seen in the image will lead you to the main part of the museum. The interior structure of the Museum is mainly very dry wood which is fairly flammable, if a large enough fire is started, the whole building will burn down.
Player Capacity: up to 6 players can fight here.
Description :
Flavour Text: The Moschets were a very dangerous but powerful and famous married couple, they were rumored to be demons and had large enough egos they kept all their most prized possessions in a grand museum in a mountain construct. They were later killed by witch hunters, and the museum was vandalized on numerous occasions. But every so often the spirits of the Moschets will come to watch duels between powerful warriors in the place they were once so proud of.

I expect a good clean fight, lets get it on!!!--Mills Lane
Not at all, it was a more than sufficient explanation. It was probably my fault for not giving an exact direction of movement. It's been a while since I had any forays into Arena :P
Horizontally. He is essentially keeping the blade in a position to allow for a sweeping attack. It is being held close so that one end is sticking out rather far behind him, while the currently functional end is being held with the blade close to the body. If you need me to, i'll make an edit to my post to make that more clear. Like I said, it's been a while since I did all of this :P
@ShidenBladesNot at all, you've been more than crystal clear in your descriptions so far. I can tell you're an experienced arena-goer, so let me know if I mess something up.
He thrust the weapon forward in an attempt to spear the Monk in the belly. He held Balance in such a way that the slashing edges pointed both left and right, so in the event that his foe was to dodge left or right, he would follow his motion and disembowel him with a devastating slash to the gut.
Hey, sorry for the late response. Can you give me some clarification please?
As I am reading it, you thrust the weapon forward, then state you are holding it left and right. I am assuming your character is turned so half his body is facing me? That way he could still thrust and hold the weapon to the left and right of his body?
Or, did you thrust then bring the weapon back to hold it so both ends were left and right?
No no, sorry. I probably didn't word that quite right. He's holding the weapon like a spear, but the bladed edges of the weapon are essentially horizontal meaning that if he were to follow up with a sweeping attack, it would strike like a sword being dragged across Ryu. I don't know how else to describe it, so I'll do a small illustration later if I'm still leaving a lot toto be desired.
So he strikes forward with the spear-like Attack, and the rest of the descriptions are follow-up actions that are only tentative in nature.
Fair enough, good luck with the arenas in future! Good fight, I had fun, and thanks for putting up with me - I hope to fight with you again in the future; until then, see you around and happy killing ;)
