Hey @NuttsnBolts,@Daxam, I had a thought, (Dangerous I know); If they log out in one place, do they end up back there when they log back in, or do they always end up in the parallel version of where ever they were in the real world when they logged in?

Well, the way I thought of it, they'd appear in the place where they logged in. Example: Zac logged out at the Fletcher's garage. If he logged in back at his dojo, he'd appear there in the Hack

The way it works is that you log on where you are and appearing in the alternate world where you are. That's where mobiles may be useful in moving about but they are limited in their time within the hack. So a PC will always log in in you'd home, but a phone means you could access it around the city.

Also, the firewall thing in the first lot of post is only a temporary thing until you pick up your weapons. Like a bit of a buffer zone. But as you get better and more powerful you may be able to log in with weapons already active.

This is all just a guide so it is up for discussion if people have interesting ideas or twists. Plus we have to note that areas like McHaggis and myself are probably still dangerous due to the MPs in the area.

In that case, I'll go ahead and divert Zac toward Ai International and have him log into the Hack with his phone. What kind of MP would he be facing?

So, Nutts and I were talking last night and we decided on something:

We were thinking that, when our characters successfully log into the Hack from their phone for the first time, an app would download onto their phone that would act as an MP radar kind of thing. That way, they'd be able to tell where MP's were and could log in near them instead of having to hunt them down.

We were also thinking that the devices they get in the Hack, like the one Zac used to log out, could also be used to open a portal into the real world so they could draw the MP out of the Hack to wipe it out without risking the MP rewriting itself into existence again

Thoughts? :)
