If there are no objections I would like to throw my hat into the ring as well. I was thinking a young lieutenant in the fire nations special operatives force. If acceptable I was thinking he would have a history with the new avatar? Perhaps he helped in is training or something.

If your character were to be a spec ops operative, he'd probably be moved around a lot to fight against the Water Tribe forces, and since the Avatar if in hiding until he's ready, it's possible they could have had a few meetings while moving around, with your character being one of the few that can actually manage to teach the new avatar.

Perhaps Shanks' character and my own could have had some level of correspondence before my character going into hiding? That way there will be a method for the Avatar and my character to make a connection. Either Shanks' character or my own could lead the Avatar to the other, or help them look for them.

I'm assuming you're going to be playing the role of Avatar, pyroman?

Yes, I will be taking the role of the Avatar. Though, that does mean the big fight will be me against myself.

I do hope that I can make the final fight more focused on everyone else's character than my own, probably having him granting them spiritual abilities like Iluq with her soldiers.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. Although, I had an idea for a potential 'twist' to the storyline that could perspire later in the story, depending on how things go with the other characters. I'll PM you about it, maybe it'll make things easier on you and the other players for a potential big battle.

Awesome, glad to be on board. I also agree with Willard, it makes sense for our characters to be connected even as far as for my char to recommend him as a water bending teacher.

Pretty sure@Little Mx Inferno beat you to being the first earthbender on board. That is not to say there cannot be two though.

I think we would have had a combination of both in person and dead drops. That way my character could be 'discovered' by the spy who attempted to kill him without your character being compromised as well. After my apparent death, we would likely keep in contact via messenger hawk in code like you suggested. I think it's likely that my character would be hiding in the Earth kingdom until the story starts.

Awesome Idea, I have no problems with it, and it give a bit more depth to the characters, I think.
