Namely, lots of action-y thingies taking place from medieval fantasy lands with elves and orcs, to the Red Faction revolution on Mars versus the EDF, or even more outlandish and alien.

Sounds beast. I like elves and action. SO we could do something like my Elven Tribes plot and build a world in it; or we can do an adventure plot with lots of monster killing. Kind of like Dungeons and Dragons without the dice rolling lol

Not a problem. I want to warn you I absolutely abhore the ending to the series so I refuse to use that one. But I've been role playing myself (both via email, text messages, forums and LARP'ing) for almost ten years at this point - if you don't count grade three run around and have fun stuff lol.
