[OOC] Ghost Apartments

On top of the hill in the middle of a forest people say there's an old hotel, abandoned, much in the same way as its guest. Who has lost their lives in many different but all the same cruel end, but they get a second chance, not at life but close enough for most. For when the dead right their name onto the logbook their ethereal bodies become flesh for the time they stay in the hotel. Which is different from one person to the other, but they have only so much time. Will these wayward souls find what they need? Or will they simply live the life that was taken from them?

We'll have to wait and see.

I will be working on the blueprints for the apartment in the next few days.
But the important infomation is that the apartment has five floors, and about twenty rooms for about twenty ghost to live in.

Nana always loved books. Often far more than she did people. She would read anything she could get her hands on. Though she preferred psychology books, books on law, philosophy books and other books similar to those. Nana was smart. She was athletic. Most people viewed her as perfect. And Nana was nice. Nana was modest. But that didn't save her from the death that awaited. Nana has changed. She's become more cruel. More vengeful. People would suffer like she did. She woukd make sure of it.

Ghost Ability
Manipulation over paper and written words. Anything written or typed onto paper she can change. Same goes for drawing or other works of art. This includes, but is not limited too, moving the characters in painting, changing words in books, leaving haunting messages, and making writing disappear .

Personality: When Winnie was alive, she was completely obedient and quiet, the perfect child for strict authoritarian parents. She spent most of her time studying because that was what was expected of her and was the top student in her school. However, after her death, she realized that she has wasted most of her life pleasing other people so now she is more wild and lives for herself. She does whatever she wants and is trying to make the most of her 'afterlife' experience.
Reason for staying at the hotel?: Failure to accept death especially after such an unfulfilled life.
Cause of death: On her way home from the school library, she was hit by a truck being driven by a drunk driver.
Ghost ability: Winnie manipulate cars for example, randomly turning on the engine or the radio and shatter the car's windows.

@sheeplon The ghost appearance doesn't really have a limit as most ghost are humanoid and shape but some ghost can be more unusual (Basically anything not human shaped). I'm okay with any humanoid ghost but the abstract ones I have to look over.

Personality: Overall, Lucius was an easy man to get along with when he was alive, if not a bit quiet. He had good drive to get things done and learned quickly, which gave him a good position in his work. He had a nice smile and the right words that made him a good circle of friends. After Lucius died, he became much more serious minded and bitter. He's rarely in a good mood, but his old personality shines through when he is in one.

Reason for staying at the hotel?: Wants to see the lives of those who were affected by all the deaths get back on track, especially those of the people important to him.

Cause of death: The passenger train he was riding on crashed into a freight train carrying various chemicals due to an improperly lined switch.

Ghost ability: He can alter chemical substances & reactions, and tends to gravitate to causing fires with it. (He doesn't understand chemistry too much, and thats one of the easier reactions to make.)

Personality: In life, they were happy, constantly out doing things he probably shouldn't have at his age. Though, when he died, he grew more and more depressed as the years went on. Though he did keep a wise attitude, as he was one of the oldest people to die in that hotel.
Cause Of Death:Whilst at the place, he was pushed by an impatient worker and fell down the stairs. For fifteen minutes he sat slumped and screaming in pain, attempting to call for his wife, who unknown to him had been out on a trip, with his daughter, who was at the age of 37, who was with her own son, at the age of 5.
Reason for Staying: He had yet to meet his five year old son, and his wife met with his daughter and Grandson to meet at the building. He awaits the moment when he can see his grandson, and untill then, he stays.
Ability: The ability to connect with the living. Only for two words at a time, but it is quite unique, as most ghosts must communicate by moving things. Whilst this is unique, it is quite outweighed by the two words per two hours. Any more would strain his much weaker body far to much.

Personality: Thomas had always been a polite and gentle young man. Growing up as a farmer, he had a respect for animals and felt a certain need to care for others. He is mostly shy and bashful. After his death, he is more so sad than angry. He spends a lot of time alone but does not turn others away if they want to talk.
Reason for staying: he has decided that, since it has been nearly a century since his death, it's time for a second chance. He was prompted to decide this because his family's land is about to be sold to a housing company and he is going to stop the deal.
Cause of death: Shot down in No Man's Land during the battle of Passchendaele.
Ghost ability: Power to cause chaos with his mind, power to control one's body if he gets close enough to them, power to have his voice mimick any noise.
