Ryan looked around with an uncaring stare at the cave. His last adventure into a cave was still fresh on his mind, he really didn't need a repeat performance.

[James Davy]

Shiranui was looking around the cave with vigilance.

While Liam was looking, he saw an unusual man in a flame red blazer. He was surprised to see Liam there. Liam noticed he was carrying fossils in his hands. He saw Liam was looking at them. "Don't get any bright ideas kid, these fossils are the property of Team Flare!" He sent out a Houndour, which was quickly defeated by Jiraiya, and a Zubat which Scarlet defeated. The grunt thew the fossils up in shock and fled. Liam and Scaret managed to catch the three fossils. Liam recognized one as the Old Amber, which would reproduce Aerdactyl. Liam and Scarlet returned to the others to show the find, and inform them of this Team Flare.

[Flood]

Ryan walked around when he saw Liam carrying some fossils. "Hey is that a Sail Fossil?" Ryan questioned as Fuma observed the fossils intently. " That would produce an Amaura wouldn't it?" He continued.

[James Davy]

"I believe it would," Shiranui answered, remembering Grant's Amaura having such features, "Liam, where did you get those?"

"there was a strange man in a flame red blazer. He was also wearing sunglasses, which seems pretty moronic in this dark cave. He claimed these fossils belonged to 'Team Flare'." Liam carefully placed the fossils on the floor. He explained to Ryan the Old Amber became Aerodactyl, a Pokemon he already had. He looked at the third fossil, and noted similarities in it and the Tyrunt Grant had. "I want this one for sure." Liam replied.

[James Davy]

"Sounds to me like you had a run-in with the local crime syndicate," stated Shiranui, remembering Team Rocket and getting a feeling of déjà vu when he remembered their first encounter in Mt. Moon. "Ryan, would you like an Aerodactyl or an Amaura?" Shiranui asked.

[Flood]

"I'll take Amaura." Ryan said as he took the Sail Fossil from Liam's hands. "Thank you very much." Ryan thanked Liam with a formal bow.

[James Davy]

"That leaves me with the Old Amber," stated Shiranui, receiving the amber.

"Well, shall we head back and get these fossils revived?" Liam asked.

[Flood]

" Sounds good to me." Ryan responded. He walked towards the entrance quickly as he really didn't want to be in this cave any longer than necessary.

[James Davy]

"I'm in," added Shiranui before following Ryan out.

The heroes exited the cave and started heading to get the fossils revived.

Shiranui saw a Sandile surface from the ground and sent Honoh out to battle the crocodile. "Start with Aerial Ace!" Honoh put his Gale Wings ability to work and after performing a loop-de-loop, zeroed in on Sandile and struck, causing a lot of damage. Sandile tried a Sand Tomb, but Honoh dodged by increasing altitude. "Poké Ball, go!" Shiranui threw a Poké Ball and Sandile was drawn in. Honoh circled around while the Poké Ball was shaking. After a while, the ball snapped shut and Honoh retrieved it since the ground was too rough to be on foot. "Thanks Honoh; return!" Shiranui recalled his proud Fletchinder and said to his new acquisition, "Welcome to the team, Sunawani." He found out Sunawani had the Moxie ability.

"Nice catch." Liam commented. Before long, the city came into view.

[Flood]

" Good one." Ryan complimented as he observed the city. He'd seen better.

[James Davy]

"Thanks," Shiranui replied as he beheld Ambrette Town, knowing people only went there for two reasons.

The heroes found their way to the laboratory that would revive fossils.

[Flood]

Ryan got his fossil revived first and pet the new friend he had. He sucked it up into a Pokeball and watched it disappear into the Storage System.

Liam's was next. He nicknamed the Tyrant "Chomper". He put Chomper in a Luxury Ball.
