[IC] Pokemon: Kalos

"I'll take it from here," Shiranui answered, "Torikumu, I choose you!" He sent his Hawlucha out to take on Mightyena. "Torikumu, Karate Chop!"
"Mightyena, Swagger!" The Hawlucha charged at Mightyena and delivered a sharp chop to Mightyena, causing a lot of damage. Mightyena strutted from side to side, sending Torikumu into a rage.
"Time for your signature move, Torikumu! Flying Press!"
"Mightyena, Assurance!" Despite the confusion Torikumu suffered, the Hawlucha took off into the air and got into a belly flop position, falling towards the floor. Torikumu slammed his whole body on Mightyena and the force of the attack was enough to render it knocked out. Torikumu counted to three, slapping the floor as he counted and on the third count got off Mightyena and flew back towards Shiranui.

"You just got schooled!" Shiranui taunted. Torikumu gave Ryan his version of the okay sign.

"You punks haven't heard the last of Team Flare." The bald Admin said. He dropped a smoke bomb and when it cleared, all of Team Flare was gone. Liam noticed more power plant workers bound and gagged in the corner and freed them. They thanked the heroes for the help and went to make sure all of the other workers were freed.

[Flood]

"I'm sure I haven't if you're all going to be so loud." Ryan remarked to nobody. He unbound a few workers but otherwise just got ready to leave.

[James Davy]

Shiranui carefully unbound some workers with one of the swords that made up Yoto. He was raring to leave the Power Plant and get back to some training for the Lumiose Gym.

All of the workers were freed. They thanked the heroes. After exiting the plant, Liam placed the Sandshrew back down on the ground and pet its head. "You take care of yourself Sandy." He said with a smile. Liam then noticed the Sandshrew was holding something in its little hand.
"What do you have there?" Liam inquired. Sandshrew opened his hand to reveal a Luxury Ball in its shrunk state. Sandshrew pressed the button to make it grow and then head butted it. Sandshrew was sucked in and the ball pinged shut immediately.
"I guess Sandshrew wanted to come along." Liam commented.

"It'll be a valuable asset for the next gym at least," replied Shiranui.

[Flood]

"Where did he get a Luxury Ball from?" Ryan questioned with a confused tone. "Whatever, let's just go. I can feel the lingering stupid from Team Flare." Ryan continued his walk with Oberon and Fuma following him.

Liam found his bag was partially unzipped. Liam showed Ryan that the compartment he keeps empty balls in was partially opened. "It came from my bag." Liam closed it back. "Well, let's head back to Luminose, I have been waiting to face this gym for a long time."

"Hear, hear," Shiranui replied.

Along the path, Liam saw something on the desert ground. It was a Meowth.

"Meowth, the Scratchcat pokemon, and the Preevolved form of Persian. It is nocturnal in nature. If it spots something shiny, its eyes glitter brightly. They adore round objects. It wanders the streets on a nightly basis to look for dropped loose change." The Meowth moaned as it stirred.
"Oi vey," Meowth replied. "That really hurt." He then noticed the heroes standing there and screamed. He then nervously began trying to talk in Meowth language.
"Shiranui, Ryan is the heat getting to me, or did this Meowth just speak the human language?"

"It wasn't you," answered Shiranui, being wary, "I heard that as well."

"No use hiding it then." The Meowth replied. "Can you three help me? I got separated from my pals, Jess and Jimmy!"

[Flood]

"Huh." Ryan immediately began taking notes on the Kristy involving it's whisker length, how polished it's coin was, etc. He vaguely noted its request and nodded. "Yeah sure, whatever. You are an scientific impossibility. I have never seen a pokemon physically speak in human tongue." Ryan nodded to himself a few times and grinned widely. This was amazing.

"We'll help you, Meowth," Shiranui answered, curious about Meowth's friends.

Meowth then gave his story on how he learned to walk and talk like a human, crying the anime waterworks when he got to the part of being called a 'freak'.

(Meowth's Back story)

"Having the ability to talk whilst not being psychic doesn't make you a freak," Shiranui stated, "The fact that you taught yourself to do so makes you as unique as a spotless Spinda."

Meowth continued with the waterworks tears. 'That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me." Liam asked Meowth, about how he got separated from his friends, and how they are going to find them in such a big town as Luminose. Meowth said that they were going to go to the tower while in town, and there is a Pokemon Center nearby it. He then explained that they were traveling and got attacked by four people. two boys, two girls. He noted one of the girls was too young to have Pokemon, but had a Pokemon riding in her little purse. He continued that these four constantly harass them and attack them in addition to their Pokemon.

[Flood]

Ryan's head snapped up from his notebook when Meowth told his story. "Wow, I suppose even Pokemon can ostracize someone for idiotic reasons. I will help you find your friends if they mean that much to you." When he mentioned being attacked he grinned. "We can take them down, we've torn through every gym we've gone to so far like it was nothing."

"We'll make sure they don't hurt you again," Shiranui assured.

'Thank you. I was glad to find such nice people." Meowth replied. Eventually, the heroes reached Luminose. When Liam and Meowth made it to the Pokemon Center near Luminose and went in, Liam asked Meowth what his friends looked like. a Wobbuffet ran up and hugged Meowth.
"I take it this Wobbuffet belong to Jess or Jimmy?" Liam inquired.

"Wobbuffet, the Patient Pokemon. If two or more Wobbuffet meet, they will turn competitive and try to outdo each other's endurance. However, they may try to see which one can endure the longest without food. Trainers need to beware of this habit. Wobbuffet does nothing but endure attacks-it won't attack on its own. However, it won't endure an attack on its tail. When that happens, the Pokémon will try to take the foe with it using Destiny Bond."

Meowth replied that the Wobbuffet belonged to Jess. Two people who are dressed as the two humans in the pic below run up crying "Meowth!"
Meowth turned to them and cried out "Jess! Jimmy!" all three began hugging and crying anime waterworks. Wobbuffet joined in on the hug.
