"At this rate, we will be done with this in no time." Liam said.

"I don't know about that," replied Shiranui, wary for the ironic twist to Liam's statement.

"Yeah, I shouldn't say things like that, I don't want to Jynx it." Liam said trying to crack a pun.

Shiranui shook his head at the pun. He spotted a grunt and stopped in his tracks.

Plasma quickly used Confuse Ray on the grunt before they could react. Liam hypothesized that the Confuse Ray left the grunt thinking they were the boss and his right hand man because he said: "Sirs,"

"Dismissed," Shiranui commanded, playing along.

The Grunt then left. Liam praised Plasma for the quick thinking. "Should we go on in or wait for Kage to come back?"

At that point, Kage phased out of the floor in front of our heroes. "Well, since Kage is back, we can go on in," answered Shiranui.

Liam praised Kage for doing a good job. "Now, lets go." Liam said.

Shiranui nodded and moved on.

Liam opened the door. Inside were two women, one with purple hair and the other with green. Liam noticed a huddled figure behind them in a brown trench coat.
"Looks like we have two more pests to deal with." the green haired one said.
"The other one was a total pushover." the purple haired Flare member replied.
The trench coat wearing man looked up, as Liam suspected, it was Looker of the International Police.

Shiranui remembered Looker from the time he helped clear Team Rocket out of their headquarters. "You may have taken Looker out, but 'dealing with two more pests' is a task that is easier said than done!" Shiranui threatened, readying a Poké Ball.

The duo sent out a Manectric and a Liepard. Liam sent Goomy down to battle. "Goomy, Dragon Pulse on Manectric!" Liam called.

Shiranui sent Hana out as Goomy's partner. "Hana, Dazzling Gleam!" The Floette pointed her flower at the opposing Pokémon and let off a flash of white light as bright as burning magnesium.

"Leopard, Hone Claws"
Manectric was hit by Dragon Pulse. It was then ordered to use Fire Fang on Hana.
"Goomy! Protect Hana!" Liam called. Goomy got in front of its partner and used Protect.

"Great job, Goomy," Shiranui praised, "Hana, use another Dazzling Gleam!" The Floette flitted out from behind Goomy and let off another flash of bright light from her flower. Shiranui knew this attack would likely take Liepard out.

Liepard was KO'd. Manectric used Giga Impact and hit Goomy. Goomy was knocked back in a flip. Goomy bounced off his head and landed upright. Goomy screamed as he began to evolve into Sigoo.
"Sliggoo, the Soft Tissue Pokemon and the evolved form of Goomy. It drives away opponents by excreting a sticky liquid that can dissolve anything. Its eyes devolved, so it can't see anything. Its four horns are a high-performance radar system. It uses them to sense sounds and smells, rather than using ears or a nose."
Sligo used Dragon Breath on Mancectric, KO'ing it.The two muttered something about regretting the day Liam and Shiranui heard of Team Flare. They ran and jumped out a window, grabbing onto a ladder hanging out of a helicopter. Liam went over to make sure Looker was OK.

"Those guys are up to something," stated Shiranui, "What, I don't know." Hana flitted back to her trainer and Shiranui offered a Shiny Stone. Hana instantly touched it and the Floette evolved to a Florges.
"Florges, the Garden Pokémon and the evolved form of Floette. It claims exquisite flower gardens as its territory, and it obtains power from basking in the energy emitted by flowering plants."

Looker came around. "Liam, Shiranui, I'm glad to see you two." He said. Liam helped him up. Looker said that the man in charge of the factory was locked in the room behind them.
