"Dragon breath!" Liam called. Goodra was standing there with hearts for eyes drooling as it stared at Numeru.

"Try again, Numeru, Dragon Pulse!" This time, Numeru focused on the battle. She fired a shock wave of draconic energy at Goodra.

"Dragon Pulse back!" Liam ordered. Goodra focused enough to launch the attack, causing them both to connect center stage.

The attacks met in an explosive stalemate. "Numeru, Outrage!" Numeru went into a rampage, charging at Goodra.

"Protect!" Liam called. Goodra used the shield.

Numeru crashed into the protective shield. "Numeru, Blizzard!" Numeru fantasised her opponent being a strong and protective mate and thus was unable to attack.

"Draco Meteor!" Liam called. He was also unable to attack.

"Numeru, Flail!" The call was to no avail as Numeru was still too infatuated to attack.

"Draco Meteor!" This time, Goodra was able to pull off the move.

The orb of energy exploded and rained down on the battlefield. Numeru tried to dodge it, but was hit by the attack and knocked out. "Numeru, return; Majin, I choose you!" Shiranui switched out the fallen Goodra and sent in the legendary Hoopa.
"Hi there, I'm Hoopa, but you may call me Majin," the Hoopa greeted.

"Hoopa, the Djinn Pokémon. It gathers things it likes and pushes them through its loop to teleport them to a secret place. This troublemaker sends anything and everything to faraway places using its loops, which can warp space. In its true form, it possess a huge amount of power. Legends of its avarice tell how it once carried off an entire castle to gain the treasure hidden within. It is said to be able to in its true form seize anything it desires with its six rings and six huge arms. With its power sealed, it is transformed into a much smaller form."
Liam used the free chance to switch Pokémon to send Jiriaya back out.

"Power up Punch!" Liam called. Liam's Pokémon became fighting type, to gain immunity to the attack that was about to strike.

The Fighting-type Greninja was actually not immune to Ghost-type attacks as Majin phased in and struck Jiraiya. "Pop quiz, Liam!" said Shiranui, "Only one type is immune to Ghost attacks. Which is it?"

"Hey, even experts make mistakes." Liam defended. "Now, before it vanishes again, Lick!"

"Shadow Ball!" Majin got licked by Jiraiya's long tongue, but was not paralysed from the attack.
"Yuck!" exclaimed Majin, "Take this!" The Hoopa threw an orb of shadow energy at Jiraiya.

Jiriaya was hurt by the move. "Ariel Ace!"

"Thunderbolt!" Majin was hit by Jiraiya's unavoidable move. The Hoopa retaliated by unleashing a bolt of electricity.

Jiriaya was hurt badly and on his last legs after that one. "Dark Pulse!" Liam called

"Protect!" Majin conjured a green shield in time for the dark energy to bounce right off.
