While other cities have had to deal with the vigilante, ours has been free from his brand of justice, until now. Now we must catch him before the trail goes cold, as it did in every other city. Our one lead, a victim escaped. He is at the local hospital for treatment, as he was one of the unlucky ones.

This sounds interesting. I would love to play a homicide detective. If not then the escaped victim would also be interesting. One question though. Is this based in the real world or in an alternate reality? And if it's in the real world then what city are we exactly talking about? Well, that's 2 questions I guess. :)

Alterate reality. For example, cities don't have to match their real-world layouts (it's too much work to deal with a realistic city you've never been to), and some things are legal that aren't here, ex: some drugs and prostitution is legal.

I'll play the NPCs such as witnesses, victims, crime lab workers, the police chief, suspects, etc. If you want to play one of those rules, though, I'll give you the evidence and let you "discover" it.

I have an idea. If no one else expresses interest then what if we do this a 1x1. You and me. I'll play the detective that handles the case and you play whoever you want. And as for NPC's, we can both play those.

I already have a plan for who the criminal is and how I want the basics to go. I can PM you my idea if you want, I just want to avoid meta-gaming and the like so I don't want to post it in the thread.
