Battleground

The Silver Dome is practice ground for many a fighter and a work of architectural art alike. It is made of three silver-coated metal domes, the largest one measuring 100 meters in diameter, and the two smaller ones fitting inside with 10 meter gaps inbetween; each is akin to lace, shaped in form of a myriad branches, which intertwine to form various images - the outer dome portrays beautiful landscapes, the medium - fierce battles, and the innermost - a complex ornament. Alongside each runs a strip of soil, ivy growing from it and wrapping itself around the domes, frequently trimmed as to not obscure the images.

The practice ground inside has a wooden floor, painted with white and black lacquer, and is lit either by sunlight, passing through a glass-covered opening on the very top of the dome, or by numerous lanterns hanging from the ceiling on chains.

I assume there are large openings in each dome to walk through? It doesn't seem like it would have doors but that's just me. Most of the holes in the domes are very small, right? You can see through the walls but not pass through them from what I picture.

Nope, they do have a sort of doorway, but simply writing 'they have large openings to walk through' didn't appeal to me, so i left that out, hoping it would be self evident that it has some sort of entrance. :p

Three layers of domes covered in ivy would let very few light through, so that indeed is the case. (the entrance would be 20 meters away from the practice ground itself, so it wouldn't provide that much light either).

That settles that, then. Can't believe I still haven't been able to complete that one guy's character sheet anyways this whole time. Maybe he'll come after the battle is over as a joke on how he's late to everything.

I'll get working on my post soon. I'll change some stuff about her, such as being half american, which adds virtually nothing to her character. She'll also have a chance to get more involved with stuff rather than just stuck in kendo on earth. Basically, consider her character sheet sort of correct but not always 100%.

The question my character poses is a serious one. I assume the magical wards explanation is correct but I'm not positive. Obviously it might not be a good idea to hack ourselves to pieces.

The swords are blunt, much like the Renaissance federschwert. People often do spar with blunted metal swords nowdays, so i assume it's a pretty safe practice with armor worn.

There is some for here to take tho. Or she could use her magic, since swordfights are actually pretty short.

I guess she can use full body defense power in this updated version of her. It wouldn't work for more powerful stuff but blunt swords for sure won't kill her. Want me to edit my post or you could explain that they are blunt to her IC?

You should probably edit. Can't have a swordsman take a sword and not see that it's blunt.
