Perhaps. It woild be odd, however, since I don't want tosee it die (end-of-the-year stuff has been making fibding time to post for anything difficult, abd I forgot to say somrthing. Sorry.) @ArenaSnow clearly doesn't want to see it die,@Thrashy clearly doesn't want to see it die, and @SuperTacticalDerp was the last to post, do he can't very well go again before someone else. Honestly, it would be twice as sad to see this one die, because the four of us clearly are still interested in its continuations-though I admit I haven't exactly been holding up my end of that as well as I would like.

I know that I'll be able to get one up no later than saturday, so long it isn't officially closing up shop. (Like I said its the end of the year, so studying and final projects are devouring my time) What about everyone else?

Name: Aris Raith

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: Aris is about 5'9" with straight black hair and emerald green eyes. His featuers are anguler and striking, handsome in a rogue-ish way. He has a lean, skinny yet muscular frame. He has a distinguishing scar on the right side of his face that starts at his hairline, runs down, across his eye and ending at his chin. He wears a large black leather duster no matter the weather.

Traits: Aris is young and naive, yet smart and logical. He is also headstrong, reckless and stubborn. He has a tendency to be a wiseass and make everyone he meets want to kill him. However he can be friendly to people he knows. He is a decent swordsman and he aims to be the best. His specalty in magic is lightning and he knows some healing magic.

Backround:
Character: Aris was born in Archades, the capitol city of the human country Elandis. He was the heir to a wealthy, noble family and the eldest of two. He was trained in magic and swordsmanship from a young age by some of the best. When he was young he had heard of the heroes that defeated the Necromancer and he wanted to be one of them. As he grew up, Aris hated being constrained and wanted nothing more than to be free. When his family's head died the title would have passed to him, however he didn't want it. Aris grabbed some basic supplies, a sword, his coat, some money and ran away, intending to finaly be free.

Country: Elandis is a very powerful war-like empire that is currently trying to expand its borders. (Think Rome) It is ruled by an emperor and a senate. The current emperor is Ferrinas IX. Elendis is known for its powerful armies, and weapons of war. It had few natural recources, other then iron and coal. Because of this, it has invaded surronding countries and now has plentiful forests, farmland, and ports with a powerful navy.

Items: He curently weilds a high-quality longsword. His duster is his own creation, it is interwoven with defensive spells designed to resist extreme heat, cold, electrictiy, as well as physical attacks. However, it is not perfect. Blunt impact go right through it, and if, for example, the heat is stronger than the defensive spells the heat will go through it.

Misc: Aris is ambidexterous. He can play a mandolin. He loves apples.

I get a superhero-vibe from your role ;) Not only is he proficant in all types of magic, but also an expert swordsman, a talented musician, ambidextrous and rather handsome to boot. And he possesses a weapon which is perhaps the greatest ever made AND a piece of clothing which protects him from pretty much everything. All of this at the tender age of 25.

I like the runaway hero-concept, but I think you might have gone over the top with this. Rethink your character, make it less über (and as such more interesting), and I'll check it out again.

All right re-thinking time. @ArenaSnow he is not a Sue. The idea was he was talanted but inexperianced. Raised in a soft enviorment, he would not really know how to survive. He would have been taught magic and swordmanship because in a nation built on war that would be normal. Also read above he is kinda a jerk.

I was a bit confrontational on that, my bad.

I just assumed the worst having seen handsome, teleportation, high intelligence, great swordsmanship, mastery of the arts (proficiency in all of em), unbreakable supersword, mastery of both hands, and good music capabilities, at a young age.

I didn't see the pre-edit version, but it looks good to me. One, admittedly minor, gripe though:

He can play a guitar.

There are guitars? I mean, the word was around in the 12th century, but it didn't refer to any one specific instrument, but to a variety of chordophones (instruments that generate sound using vibrating strings). That, and it seems a bit off-aesthetic. I would say a lute or mandolin would be better. (When I said the gripe was minor, I meant it.)

On a more serious note, I will be gone hiking for the next two days. You can move the story along if you wish (since recruitment seems like the next step). Hopefully we can continue in earnest when I'm back!
