It didnt take long for Finn to round up a list of things he was missing. He took advantage of his freedom greedily before his capture. He acted how he pleased, drank and smoked as he pleased, bedded any lovely young thing that found his criminality appeasing in a man. At least he could speak as he pleased, despite the little priest's protests and comments about his vulgar language; about how it wasn't acceptable to speak in such a way under the Lord. Well, Finn would argue, if the Lord didn't like his words then why wasn't his tongue scorched off just for saying them? He pushed Eli's buttons, plucked his nerves like a finely tuned guitar just to hear the tune of his distress.
“I want to go out.” He nodded definitely, making up his mind then and there. He already begun to stand, stretching his long form out with a grunt as if to signal that his decision had been made. Getting clean for Eli was about as compliant to instruction as he'd been in years, even giving up his own weapons and what little money he had on him was a fight in itself. Struggling like a roped stallion, there wasn't a chance in hell he would lay down like a dog and obey to forfeiting himself. Then again, Eli was a small man. It was almost sad to imagine the shaky priest in a fight or anything that required wrangling a man, but despite Eli's disadvantage against anything that wasn't the breeze or a week old pup perhaps, there was the curiosity of how much of a fight he would try had Finn picked one. He was a nervous one, but he'd never had anyone that small dare to give him lip for vulgarity of all things. Finn couldn't help but respect that, at the very least.
“Yer new here somewhat, aren't ya? Do us both good to explore, won't it?” Finn spoke on the edge of sing-song, all riding on a dubious grin before he set off in search of his shirt.
