A hellish world residing parallel to our own nightmares. With unknown origins. Is there war? Famine? Disease? Death? All a mystery, never to be known. Unless you make it your business to know. But that will take work and much sacrifice. Because where you come from it's cozy and warm, is THAT worth sacrificing?
I aim to answer this question with this Roleplay. The uniqueness of this Roleplay will be the Players will have to learn about the world I've created. This will be through hints, story development, and random events generated by simple dice rolls. These things will be mostly controlled by me however in many instances a player's own initiative can create more opportunities to learn about the world.
Now let me tell you about the world so you can have some footing. The world is about the size of earth but the majority of it is massive mountains. Now there's a large flat continental region surrounded by water. This is where life began here and it gave birth to Dragons, who made up the majority of life on this mostly desolate planet. Some dragons were born immortal and able to learn. What they learned was how to command tremendous power and created a race of humanoid Dragon slaves known as the Descendants. They also formed a pact with angelic beings known as the Seraphim who shared knowledge to bolster the Dragon overlord's powers. This pact created allows a colony to survive protected and untouched by the Dragons. This colony of Seraphim is the closest to a earthly paradise. It is covered in a barrier of light that keeps intruders out and everyone else inside. The leaders of the colony are the most angelic appearing and hold the secrets away from their people for varying reasons. Instead they focus on people living happy long lives within the colony.
This Roleplay will begin in this colony. Your characters will have been raised here and will have not much of an idea as to what is outside the colony besides dangerous things. I hope this sparks SOME interest.
