@Phantomlink959 Okay, I know it is your right as GM to approve or disapprove characters, but since it is my turn, and I don't like to hold RPs back, I would like to hear everyone else's opinions.
So, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, @SpiritedDream, @Fatal Error 1337, @Against This, @Little Mx Inferno, @Kiltmanbagz, @Madninja324, @SilverWolfAngel, @The Fox Without. After reading both of our points, what do you think?

I'm not going to kick you, as you were working wiht me on finding a compromise. if you had outright refuse to try and work with me it would have been a problem, and that's what I was afraid of happening, which it did not.

I don't have a problem with the Semblance per say, though you may want to specify somewhere how large the coins/ingots are. I'm terrible at super powers lol.

I'm more concerned with whether or not Beacon would actually use iron for exposed support beams - they are a technologically advanced society and they obviously have some sort of steel compound that wouldn't rust like iron does, which would probably be better for exposed support beams than iron. If they didn't use iron for the support beams, then it would negate his ability to climb the tower.

If they did use iron support beams however, then my other concern is how he uses the coins to adjust his trajectory and make the half-circle move that you describe as 'very tricky'. The way it reads, he pushes away from the coin which is parallel to the tower, but your description of his Semblance states that in such an instance the coin would fly away and he would probably fall to his doom.

Feel free to correct me on the trajectory thing though - I may be reading it wrong.

Due to some serious revision I'm doing to my fustercluck of a plotline, I'm going to have to negate pretty much everything that has occurred in this RP. As such, I will be performing a hard reset and moving to a new thread.
Characters will be reevaluated and spots will be held only for the GMs, though I will increase the priority slightly for previously accepted characters.

I noticed a few massive problems with the current setup, need to overhaul the whole thing, more clearly define the basic rules, that sort of thing.
I kind of threw the whole RP together with no thought whatsoever, this time I'm putting in proper planning and thought, plus getting help to keep it organized.

Yeah I think I'll be withdrawing my interest. Honestly while in many RP's I prefer my character to not be involved with the major plot in the RWBYverse it just seems silly for the players to be effectively minor characters. At least, that's what I got from your description.

Though I will clarify; yes the characters could technically be classed as 'minor' characters in terms of being able to affect the plot direction, as the overarching plotline of both RWBY and his AU are mostly worked out, but the characters themselves will be the focus of the RP - not the grand dramatic world-saving disasters that they have to deal with. And be assured that they will still deal with big disasters and terrible Grimm and criminals. It just won't be quite on the 'must succeed to save the world' scale.

Ya, I think I'm going to call it quits too. Manga/Anime writing has never been my thing, I've been dreading the first combat post I'd have to make. And that its become necessary to filter the IC posts through you guys is a little too constrictive for my tastes. Hope too see y'all around.

I'm not gonna lie Phantom, you are one helluva hard GM to work with. You have a short fuse and come off as abrasive, if not condescending half the time. And instead of trying to work with us, you just flippantly decide to scrap everything we've spent the better part of a month on? Nah, I think I'm gonna pass.

And this isn't me storming off because I'm mad or anything. This is just me trying to give you some advice when it comes to being a GM. I totally get that this is your AU and you're free to do what you want with it, but it's going to be awfully hard to keep a RP afloat when you treat your collaborators like this.
