Protagonist was sickish last time he posted I think, give the man some more time before. I'm sure he'll make another post once he gets better or has the time to do so. In the mean time you could probably make a post where you talk too somebody of our team?
while im not unwilling, im kind of trying to get a better feel for the setting, opinions of different races towards each other, slang, common knowledge, etc.
I'd imagine 'droid' would be used as a catch all for any gender droid. Also herp a derp he has school remember?

Weapons: Modified M16, a desert eagle sidearm, A specialized crossbow with bolts labeled "K8L", a pair of combat knives, and twin custom short swords. She does not carry all of these at once. She has set load-outs for different combat situations.
Skills: Feline level of reflexes, eyesight, and hearing. relatively good aim with both her firearms, knows some hand-to-hand combat. Is known to have a silver tongue. Drawbacks: not very strong, relies more on avoidance and stealth.
Personality: Serious on the job, rather mischievous in nature. She tends to grab onto things that are amusing to her and run with them for long stretches of time. She likes to tease her targets when she gets the chance, and she's far from being a prude in terms of intimate relations with anyone she finds relatively attractive, or likes her for who she is, and not judge her on her appearance.
History: A Sergent in the US army, she enjoyed her job, but needed some extra cash. So she volunteered to be a subject in the science division. But life has a way of screwing with you. The scientists botched their predictions and their budget, leaving her a freak of science with little money and no chance of a normal life.
Using what she knew, she became a freelance agent. An assassin of sorts. Advertized as the "Kat with eight lives" She made a name for herself in the criminal underworld. She was careful to avoid big factions, feeling they'd use her and dump her as the military did. She had heard about a group that didn't care about appearance, but she lived by one rule: Never trust anyone as far as you can throw them. So instead of showing up in person, she sent the man in charge of recruiting an offer of her services...

By the by, Galgarion...Just...how has your OC heard of Kat?
He has been wandering the wilderness for a few years now, no support from his clan, on his own until the agency picked him up. stands to reason that he had to deal with the underworld once in a while, and you stated that your name has circled around there
Well, to be more detailed. He COULD have overheard whispers of a 'cat with eight lives' when looking for work as a bounty hunter. But it's a jump to assume that someone -named- Kat would be the same person. Only the higher-ups of the groups she's hired by know what she looks like. The title can mean anyone, or to throw off people.
Along with any sort of rep come at least a vague description, and the cat ears are quite a bit of a giveaway, so its not that big of a jump, also you stated your rep was "a Kat with eight lives" not cat, so your name is in your rep. Combined with the fact that there probably aren't a whole lot of mercs in a scenario where a majority of earth population has died. I just didn't think that it would be too difficult for Valrassh to have heard of your rep.
"Kat with eight lives". I also am talking in the context of verbal exchange. "Cat" is rarely spelled with a K, So saying one knew how it was spelled without seeing it written is presumptuous and borderline meta-gaming.
But I am now nitpicking. An assassin with the name 'cat' and a gun for hire seemingly wearing cat ears is a safe assumption when the commander called her cat is a safe assumption.
