@The Fated Fallen it isn't you. Yes, there are interactions that could be had between you and any of the other changes characters, but I think it is more all of us and a general pace of the rp.
@Letter Bee in my mind, there are no such things as side characters, at least not in this rp. Your character is one of the adventures who are stuck in a situation where they have to save a town. Whether for their own self preservation or for the sake of saving the realm or whatever. Yes, there are 2 characters currently helping yours fight off the main demon, who could post, and you could piggy back off of. And yes, the fight has become dragged out. But your pc could help Ionathan protect the sage, or lend a hand to fighting the new demon that appeared. As far as world building or interacting with npc's, we could- have another guard help/hinder your actions? It is all completely up to you and your imagination. I mentioned in the beginning that we're slower paced than some other rp's. Ultimately, if you decide to leave because of that, we're sorry to see you go. If anyone wants to leave because of that reason, then it is what it is. I'm sorry. And I'm also not sure what else to say. Complaining and carrying on about it though isn't going to help.
@ArenaSnow and I are trying to work out ideas to keep everyone involved and engaged. Be patient with us please. But as I said, it is what it is if you choose to move on.

Edit- what could also be said for the side character bit is that if you want to be a main character in the fight, then write it. My character is a support in battles, but she had a role to play in the last fight. Give something for the demon to counter, or work something out with the lion that he's not the only person doing or taking damage. The fights are supposed to be hard enough where they need a team effort. That's why I try to make sure people aren't overpowered, and that's why I have Arena playing team evil - he does it so much better than me :p
