I don't know what to think about that game. Some people say it's really good, others say it's lame. You can't really go wrong with $11, though. Tell me if it's any good!

And so the first arch of our story has come to an end. I'd like to thank everyone who has participated and a special thanks to everyone who has stuck with us through it all. We're super excited to continue on with our story. I have so much in store for you all!!! For anyone looking to join or those who would just like a refresher on where we are, here it is :)

Our list of Active Players
@Elitestpotato as Edict
@The Fated Fallen as Tirarrian
@WanderingRebel as Tobias and Katia
@Diabolic as Cyprian
@Dragoknighte as Durin and Kayleth
@Tabitha Jade as Jade
@boomlover as Robert
@IcePezz as Isabeau

Team evil is contributed and controlled by myself, @ArenaSnow and @Elitestpotato.

In our first arch of our story, the demons attacked the town with hopes of leaving it in ashes. Unfortunately, with the help of our unlikely team of heroes, Waeldeshore was saved. YAY!!!

At the moment, we find most of our main characters gathering their wits and mending their wounds. Two of our writers are on vacation for a couple of weeks, so I'd like to use this downtime to get to know our characters, get some more interaction between one another. It's a great opportunity for new characters to join and integrate themselves in our cast, as well as character development for all involved in the rp.

If anyone has any questions, concerns, comments, rants, just pm me :)

That's a pretty comprehensive summary of the RP. Must have taken forever to write up.

@Dragoknighte haha when I actually did, it did take me a bit. Luckily since I do updates often, I just snipped and pasted pieces from posts here and there and made the changes based on the progress made :p

Name: Siegfried Roanoke

Race: Human

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance: Rowan is a tall man with a average frame and a muscular build. He has one icey blue eyes as well as upper-back length, black, messy hair. He's a pale-skin with a deep tan and scars covering his torso and arms. The strangest thing about his appearance is the birthmark on his forehead which resembles a third eye, one which becomes more prominent when he is more enraged. The last notable piece to his appearance is a brand on his upper right arm which resembles a jagged swirl.

Clothing/Armor: He wears red, tattered pants, a leather belt, a red, tattered shirt, leather boots and a black, tattered cloak. Over his clothes, he wears thin armor over his feet, shins and knees as well as bracers and a light chainmail. Around his neck he wears a circular locket with an ornate celtic design, inside of which is a picture of him as a child and a girl with their names, Siegfried and Brynhildr, scratched into the inside opposite the picture.

Weapons: Rowan wields a long broadsword with nothing special about it other than its extended handle, allowing him to switch from single hand and two hand wielding styles, which he keeps sheathed on the side of his backpack. His only other weapon is some sort of eastern dagger (similar to a scimitar) that he keeps sheathed at his left hip.

Alignment: NG

Skills/Abilities: He's proficient with longswords and bigger blades but has trouble with new weapons at first. He learns quickly how to use weapons. Very proficient at hunting and fishing as well as other survival skills. He knows how to work a forge well as he repairs his broken weapons and tries to keep the others from breaking.

Magic: The branding on his arm magically calls monsters and demons to him. Because of the dragon blood in him,

Backstory: He doesn't know much about his history other than the fact he's always fought monsters, his name and the girl. However, this is only a small part of the man.

When he was young, Siegfried spent much of his time running around the little northern village he'd grown up in with his best friend, Brynhildr. Other children would pick on him because he was smaller than them. Because of Brynhildr, he became braver, stronger and bigger. When he became of age, his village was attacked by a dragon, Fafnir, which he battled and defeated, accidentally swallowing a bit of the beast's blood and covering his wounds. Since then, he's been wandering, fighting, surviving, honing his skills and defending the weak.

@KazeXDZ well, I'm glad to see that you're still interested. I would rather cs's be posted when they're finished, or at the very least with a bit more information than what was copied and pasted :p

Let me know if there's anything I can help you with :)

Sorry if my language has become a bit oldey worldey and my demeanour all the more sour. I have gotten back into Darkest Dungeon, enveloped by it's terrible maw of despair and wretchedness.

There can be no hope in this place, no hope at all...

Darkest Dungeon is my shit. Triumphing over that adversity is the best part. If it was just impossible to win against the dark, then it'd just be pointless.

These nightmarish creatures can be felled, they can be beaten!

About Dragon's Dogma, the game seems pretty fun so far. It feels fun to do just about anything, run around and explore, attack, pick up vases and throw them off a cliff, climb up onto a hydra's neck and stab it until its head comes off. Also it's character creator is really in depth, but it works far better at being able to make characters look good than say Mass Effect or the Souls games. If there is something I think the game lacks, it's some sort of lock on feature and markers on the minimap for enemies you've engaged.

You will arrive along the old road. It winds with a troubling serpent-like suggestion through the corrupted countryside; leading only I fear to ever more tenebrous places.

There is a sickness in the ancient pitted cobbles of the old road, and on it's writhing path you will face viciousness, violence and perhaps other damnably transcendent horrors.

So steel yourself and remember there can be no bravery without madness

The old road will take you to hell, but in that gaping abyss we will find our redemption

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

As the enemy crumbles, a faint hope blossoms.

Dazed, Reeling, about to break.

The path is lit, the way is clear. We require only the strength to follow it

Now comes the true test. Hold fast, or expire

A moment of valour shines all the brighter against the backdrop of despair

Prodigious size alone does not dissuade the sharpened blade!

Without tools of iron, you must rely on flesh, and indefatigable purpose.

Glittering gold. Trinkets and purpose.

Glittering gold, trinkets and baubles. Paid for in blood

The cost of preparedness. Paid now in gold... Later in blood

Elusive. Evasive. Persistent. Righteous traits for a rogue
