You are the king of a new mideval kingdom. You will make a strong military, trade,go to war and make allies.

Rules
Don't god mode
Things must take time(I.e. Sending troops and materials, building things, going to claim countries)
Need a reason to declare war
You can have one kingdom once I get the map up you may start to claim what countries you want to claim (so it's one kingdom multiple nations if that makes sense)
Highest technology is gunpowder, so cannons and stuff like that.

I'm a bit interested, but I do have questions, more of which may come later.

-What is the cap on technology? Just before gunpowder, including cannons, etc...
-Any map to put things in perspective?
-Fantasy elements or no?
-I assume it is one nation max.
-Will stats be used? I prefer not, but up to you.
-What races are allowed (or is it strictly human)?

Also, maybe a bitm ore on the setting. Why is "new" an emphasis? Did the world just rise from a long period of warfare, or the dissolution of an all-ruling empire?

@ArenaSnow you can join whenever you like and start to claim. But only one area for now and the Black Ice Wastes have to be in halves since it's so big. I'm going to start by claiming the Fel Lands for Abysmalia.

Description: Our nation will fight if provoked. We are interested in making trade and alliances prosper. We will also go to war if one of our allies is attacked. We believe in equality and freedom throughout the world.

What I'm thinking is for the Black Ice Wastes to be a split of various, I am assuming orc or similar based factions, which ultimately are competing to control the whole area. But that's another story of worldbuilding :)

Um I tried and I can't but when more people join every now and the I will post the same map with the names of the empire that has it repeatedly.

Also the black ice wastes will be split into 4's. It will be like a mini campaign. Once you get a stronger army the part that you beat you will have, but it will be limited to one quadrant per nation that claims it so choose which one you attack wisely @ArenaSnow

Splitting the top section in the 4 quadrants, I think, would only be fair; the faction coming out on top through course of bitter roleplay war would be the one to earn the section.

However, that is assuming enough people joined in the first place. Someone may have to take the entire section for the sake of filling up the map; having holes all over the main map does not sound like a way to get nations interacting well.

Nations name: The Valkyrian Empire
Your race: Valkyries, humans

Description: Forged atop the ruins of a dozen human city-states ravaged by war, disease, undead, and famine into a new kingdom led by winged Valkyries descended from the celestial realms, the Valkyrian Empire is a shining beacon of light and prosperity. A beacon they seek to spread across the world, even if their neighbors may not fully appreciate the true value of the Light just yet. All will come to know the glory of the Light, or face its burning wrath if they deny it.

Nation Notes
* Gunpowder weaponry is known but has limited production due to very limited supply of magical blasting powder. The gunmage Order of Black-Wings use flintlock firearms and bullets as conduits for their spells, but the majority of Valkyries prefer to use traditional spells and arrows instead of unpredictable blasting powder which the alchemy guilds keep under tight grips. No cannons or serious effort to introduce muskets en masse.
* Connection between the Empire and Celestial Realm is limited. The Valkyries can communicate with the higher realms and allow additional Valkyries to come to this world only infrequently. Attempts to improve the conduits between the Midrealm and Celestial Realms will be an ongoing issue.
* Humans and other races in the Empire's lands are effectively second-class workers and laborers for the Valkyrian Empire. Admittedly well-treated for what amounts to being peons and serfs writ kingdom wide, but most middle-class and all upper-class positions are held by Valkyries under their "divine" rule.
