Angelo sighed softly as he woke up from his nap, Angelo was told that he wasn't needed for the day to day operations of the ship so Angelo just decided to nap until it was time for their heist. Angelo checked his lamp table next to him and he took out his pocket watch and checked the time. Thankfully he didn't over sleep since their was still an hour until they would come out of the FTL jump and get to their luxury cruise target.

Angelo smiled to himself glad he became a captain of the ship that once belonged to his father, it was heartwarming to think that he was still their guiding him and keeping him safe. If someone told Angelo 2 years ago that he would be captain of a space pirate ship he would have thought they were mad but now Angelo thinks it comes naturally to him even after his bumbling the first year of his captain life. Right now Angelo needed to go and get dressed so he could get ready for the heist. He was told that this wouldn't be a very hard job but the luxury liner does have 2 escort ships which will make it difficult to get around them but his crew will handle it easy.

Angelo soon changed out his casuals and he put on his captain outfit which fit him perfectly so apparently him and his father must have had the same physical build or they decided to change it before meeting Angelo either way it was very comfortable to wear.

Angelo then put his pirate hat on and walked out of his room to the bridge where he sat in the captains chair waiting for the others to arrive before their heist knowing the ship was on auto pilot when in their FTL jumps...

Boots made a short clipping sound that echoed very softly with each step on the smooth hard floor. Of course, soon they would be making no sound at all as Iona took out security guards with the smooth grace of a panther...a bionic panther. Iona had been debating whether or not to break into the booze she'd grabbed from the last heist, and decided to wait until after this one. So instead, as she walked to the bridge, she chewed on a piece of chocolate. It was fancy chocolate, almost as good as the stuff from Morganian.

Oh, how she missed her life there sometimes. The servants who waited on her every desire, the hot boyfriends she could toss anytime she saw someone hotter, the chocolate. Oh, god, the chocolate. It had been a miracle that Iona hadn't been obese at the time of her little accident.

The young woman took her seat, shaking off the longing. This was a better life and she knew it. She had earned her right to be here. She was useful. And she'd gotten to try such a massive variety of sweets that it wasn't worth it to go back to her home planet. She took out the box she'd been carrying, full of chocolate of course, and slid it across the table to Angelo with her metal arm.

"Hello, Captain. I figured that today will be a big one, so the chocolate is for morale," she said after pulling off the mask that covered the lower part of her face. Most of her teeth were a little too white: synthetic; this was obvious whenever she grinned as she was doing now. The originals had been lost in the fire.

Lucas paced back and forth, eying the inventory stocked in the cargo bay. He stopped mid-stride, spotting an empty space between two rectangular boxes on the "special goods" shelf.

"Well, well.." He combed a stray whisker back into his beard. It was a gesture that often indicated deep thought. Or boredom. "Looks like the chocolate bandit strikes again." Lucas smiled as he made a quick note of it. He tapped open the interface holographically displayed from the gauntlet of his suit and began keying in his daily report. Just as he finished, a notification window popped up.

Report To The Bridge

***

The auto sliding doors made way for Lucas, who entered the bridge with the grace of a carefree house cat. He spotted Iona sliding over a candy bar to the Captain.

"So that's where the good stuff went." He grinned, motioning over to her. "Is it as good as the Morganian sweets you're always gushing over?"

Lucas turned his attention over to the Captain. "Well, you're looking rather swanky today, Cap." He set his wide-brimmed duster hat on the table, gesturing for Iona to hand him a bar.

Paul sat on his bunk doing maintenance on his weapon and armor. His mind deep in thought as he worked, the clinking of the plates of his armor as they bump together. besides him sat a small music player, from it played soft classical music. As Paul worked he hummed softly, lot of people didn't understand his like of classical music. In fact many made fun of him for it, but for himself it represent a great time. A time of gentlemen and a time of honor. While he held no personal view of honor, he loved the idea of it.
As Paul worked one of the crew men walked up to him "Paul one hour till we arrive...get in gear." the crewman said. With a smile Paul makes one last check "Thank you peter best make your self ready." he said as he stood up and left for the bridge

After several minutes Paul found the bridge. As the doors slide open Paul look at everyone present. "Hey boss" he said to Angelo as he enters. "Lucas,Iona" Paul said to each with a smile, he meant no disrespect, he knew Iona had had earned her place, and he respected her for that. To Paul Lucas was annoying, Nice enough guy, with experience that eclipsed him and had his respect as some one who could show him a thing or two. In all honesty Paul liked them.

"So Boss, whats the Job?" Paul asked as he sat down " I wa...." he said as he noticed chocolate "May I?" he asks motioning to the chocolate.

Angelo smiled as he waited and the first to arrive was their sweets crazy cyborg girl Iona which Angelo believed was still cute even if Angelo doesn't know what she looked like before she went half robot on them and he nodded to her thanks, nice getting sweets from someone even sweeter Angelo said smiling at her knowing that she used to be a noble so a flirt here and their was his way of giving her a sense of normalcy.

the next crew member to arrive was Lucas the old sea dog that made Angelo experience made Angelo look like a tourist. When Angelo first learned he would be captain it was Lucas who came and offered his condolences to him and taught him the ropes until Angelo got a hang of it. Angelo gave him a bar of the candy and he smiled when he said Angelo looked swanky and Angelo couldn't help but say cause this feels so comfortable and I like to think it makes me feel like my father is still watching me. Angelo said smiling

then finally it was Paul their fighter pilot Angelo didn't know much about Paul but he was a really nice guy and he made sure Angelo didn't make any stupid mistakes when they were on their first heists so Angelo still thinks of him as part of their family. Angelo laughed a little when he suddenly stopped talking and asked for some of the chocolate so Angelo gave him half of his and Angelo ate the other half loving the sweet flavor. Sometimes you just got to enjoy the little things in life.

Once Angelo finished his candy he stood up and started to explain alright guys today we will be taking on another luxury cruiser however this one has a two ship escort from what I figured out they aren't empire warships so that's a plus but they are frigate class like us so expect resistance. All we need to do is give them a few warning shots and that should make them surrender I don't want to destroy the ships if we can. More stuff for us if they surrender right? Everyone get into your stations cause were going to appear near them to see about giving out the element of surprise Angelo said before sitting back down and getting the electronic warfare software started...

"Good as the Morganian sweets? Impossible. No such thing. What a silly question," said Iona with a light tinge of sarcasm in her voice. She wouldn't admit that as much as she'd loved that rich Morganian chocolate, its taste had faded from her memory. Ten years will do that to a person. Her grin faded a little; maybe this next heist would deliver the goods she really wanted: the chocolate and the strong booze that could make a person gag at first- but not Iona.

Iona winked at Angelo, appreciating the flirt, and leaned back in her seat partially to listen and partially to watch her crewmates damn-near finish the chocolate she'd been hoping to binge on herself, apart from sharing with the Captain for good luck. "Toss me into a waste airlock or something--preferably trash and not feces--and I'll take out security, as usual," she said. She'd been through this many times now. She was ready.

She jabbed a thumb toward Paul. "If you find any chocolate, refill my stocks, will ya?" And with that, up her mask went.

Lucas nodded silently to himself as Angelo spoke of his father. The boy has come a long way... He thought back to the olden days, recalling the times spent rigorously teaching Angelo everything he knew about this troublesome lifestyle. Had it been any other pirating crew, by pirate law, Lucas should have taken the reins as Captain of the Tsuki no Kama. But in truth, the ship was a family heirloom, and Lucas had no right to take that away from Angelo and this was no ordinary pirating crew. Angelo was half his age, but he had the wherewithal of a seasoned vet. "The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree, Angelo. If the old man was here, he'd be proud."

Paul finally found the bridge. Chocolates were shared, despite Iona's reluctance, and the mission briefing went under way. It was a basic grab and go on a luxury liner. Nothing too crazy, but serious enough to keep Lucas' head in the game. "A good ol EMP burst will send them driftin into the dark ages long enough for us to do our dirty work. Best we have our nav guy scramble their comms just in case. Don't want to waste precious fuel on a cat and mouse with empire gunships again..." He listened to Iona's request to be smuggled on board the luxury cruiser via trash and not human waste. "I second this." Lucas chuckled. "Last time we made Iona swim through a sewage port, we had to sterilize the whole ship for grub parasites. Remember when everyone at the bridge wore mask filters at one point?" The memory brought another hearty laugh as he slapped his knee and rose from his chair.

Paul chuckled softly at Lucas's remark as he ate the chocolate. "this isn't bad... Thanks Boss and Iona" he says as he finished the chocolate "So boss do we have a lay out of this ship?" he asks "gonna make this job a lot easier." he mutters as looks at the boss "what type of Haul were we thinking here? he asks as he thinks over who and how this would go to ensure they were effective and got in and out before anyone can help. Paul liked Angelo, he respected that he didn't like to talk about himself, and he even looked fondly on the their first heist when he had to help the captain. He had always respected the man and he felt almost like his older brother at time.

Angelo smiled looking down when Lucas said that Angelo father would be proud of him but he never really knew his father to begin with so he wouldn't know but it was good to know that Lucas thinks so. Then he talked about the time that Iona went through the sewage lock and Angelo shivered don't remind me, im still getting nightmares about it Angelo said only half joking since his big fear was to die from a parasite slowly eating him from the inside out, it was just a horrible way to die to him. Angelo then turned to Paul as he asked what he believed the haul would be the haul isn't a bad one this time considering that we are dealing with high class nobles from morganian, were not taking on the royal family mind you but no doubt these guys are packing a few good pieces. I want priority on the ships treasury since that's where most of the valuables will be kept if you happen to get a few nobles to give up their jewelry even better. Im already good to go with our electronic warfare so I need time to get into their systems after that it should be easy to make them surrender. Angelo said then a siren started to go off as an indicator that they were about to come out of their FTL jump Alright everyone you know what to do.

"Don't make me think of that day," muttered Iona to Lucas, her voice muffled heavily by the mask. "I was heaving over the toilet for a whole Terran week after that. I was convinced half my electronics would fail because they were just so clogged with shit." Even with half her face covered, the scowl was obvious. "And I didn't want anything to do with chocolate for a little while after," she added.

She stood quickly at the sound of the siren, alert as a dog that had just locked on to a squirrel. Her tone changed to something that sounded almost businesslike as she checked that she had her weapons: "Best of luck to you all, not that you'll need it. Happy hunting." She fired a gun-like device into the air, although it wasn't a gun and simply shot out a sharp, barbed bolt and was clearly meant for short distance. One of these in the brainstem and Iona's victims were nice, quiet and dead. She retracted the bolt and waited.

Paul cracked his neck. "Well looks like I need get ready." he said as the siren wailed.Paul stood up and headed down to the armory whistling as he left. After a few minutes Paul found himself right in front of the armory. After entering the armory Paul grabs his armor. He didn't expect much fighting, but it was more to scare the crew and passengers on the ship and in the case he needed to go out into the void of space, which was rare but there was one time he was forced to cross from one ship to another.. After changing into his armor he grabbed a Smg. again he didn't expect much fighting but better to have it and not need then to need it and not have it. He knew he had time, as he needed to wait till the ship was in range of a boarding. After preparing himself Paul waited for the rest of the crew to arrive and be ready for the boarding.

Lucas cringed at the imagery Iona conveyed about her equipment covered in feces. "Well sister, if we hit the mother load on this job, kiss your shit swimming days goodbye."

The crew's laid back demeanor vanished as soon as the siren went off. They prepped as they always did, engaging in their sequential rituals before punching in the clock and getting to work. Lucas began his routine by probing his fingers around the modified sidearms holstered on his hips. Satisfied with the [i[feel[/i[ of everything being where it should, he casually paced about, singing an old folk melody. His voice was weighted and raspy, but it carried the tune as it always did, matching the rhythm of the chirping alarm. He sang it so many times before moments like this that it sort of became the Tsuki No Kama's war song. Some sang along, some merely whistled the tune, others just listened or tuned it out completely.

Ride, my kin, to the starry night sky
Neither Kings, Nor Queens, Neither Princes or Knights
We are thieves! We are bandits! We are children of the Skull!
We fight, and drink, til the rising sun glows
Oh Maiden Aurora, the goddess of old
Guide us out of the storm, and into the gold
The price to be a pirate is surely not cheap!
Lay me down with my treasure and bury me deep
Lay me down with my treasure and bury me deep
The life of a pirate is all that I seek..

After a few agonizing moments of silence they finally came out of the FTL jump in front of both the luxury liner and the two escort ships then Angelo immediately went to work getting the Electronic warfare going to control their systems and have complete control of their ship. It wasn't as flashy as shooting a particle cannon but it was just as effective and would ensure little to no casualties since he will be able to control their life support systems they wont be fond of fighting. helmsman hard to port and get them in our broadsides, Paul go out and dock with their ship, Iona get to work and send them all a message to tell them that they must surrender or we will open fire Angelo told them immediately taking control of the situation trying to get the most out their element of surprise before their upper hand quickly goes...

Iona was nearly giddy; she was practically like a hound that had scented its prey. Her primary, and most important, job would begin when they'd docked, but that didn't mean she couldn't begin now. She used a device mounted to her cybernetic arm to put together a radio message after leaving to stand in the hall where she could concentrate. Iona decided that it should be short, sweet and to the point:

"Hello. As you know, if you're not asleep on the job, your liner is being... visited. There is no use putting up a fight. We have control, and if we do not get a return radio message telling us of your surrender within one hour, we will open fire."

End message. She sent the robotic-sounding voice recording and called out to Angelo, "Message sent. Be on the lookout for announcement of surrender within the hour." And with that, she headed off, ready to board. This was her favorite part.

Paul cracked a smile as he and his boarding team entered the airlock to take them to the ship. "The boss wants his riches, lets not disappoint." he says "oh and be on the look out for chocolate." One of the crew nods "Lets go be bad guys." he says as Paul and the rest of the boarding crew chuckle "Remember don't kill anyone unless you have to. If they talk back, or are defiant teach them a lesson but don't kill them...anyone who raises arms...you may kill or make an example." As Paul said that he prayed no one need to be made an example of. The last person who was got shot out an airlock. While he hated it he knew that if one was killed to ensure the safety of his crew and the continued survival or the rest of the hostages, he wouldn't mind killing one or two. "Right two of you make ready, Once the tube is connected we will go over be prepared for resistance. " After the first bunch goes over they would be followed depending on how much is in the vault by a shuttle and some men to transport the vast amount. Other wise Paul and hi first group would be perfectly fine filling packs to transport it back through the tube.

Lucas joined the boarding party in the shuttle. He wore his standard space suit and signature cowboy hat but left his long coat in his quarters. The old pirate nodded to the crew as he made his way toward the back of the group. In his younger days, he would've been the first in line, but those days were long gone. 'Let the young'ns have their fun.' is what he always said, but in truth, he was playing the role of the rear guard, watching their backs and looking for anything suspiciously out of place. At least that's what he told himself. The job looked to be your standard grab and go, but out here in the void, nothing is for certain...

After a few precious moments Angelo got into their systems he now had complete control over all the ships in the area which took some energy out of him. After they realized that they were at Angelo mercy they quickly surrendered Angelo grinned and called out on the intercom veni vidi vici! Alright guys they surrendered and if they try to pull a fast on then I can take away their life support with the push of a button. Go ahead and go into the luxury cruiser Angelo called out on the intercom to Lucas and Paul knowing that was their target then Angelo turned to Iona go and take out the escort ships, make sure that they don't try anything funny like send out a homing beacon or an SOS and for once try not to kill everyone on board Angelo told her leaving him pretty much on the controls on the bridge himself while his trusted crewmen went to do their jobs...

Paul chuckled and turned on his Com "This is Jericho We are green! all first boarders sound off" He said as the others around him cheered and whooped and yelled out they were present. after a second Paul pressed a button. Moments later The tube detached its self from the the ship and floated towards the target. After a few seconds the tube attaches to the other ship, and the airlock "Right Boys lets go be bad guys!" he yells as the airlock is flooded with a green light notifying the crew they were clear to cross and the boarding tube had no problems. Leading the group Paul crossed and entered the new ship. The sight surprised him, even after so many jobs he was surprised at how lavish the ships interior. He was just in the entrance of the ship and he found himself faced with thick wooden doors with windows and with such a good polish he could clearly see himself, He knew they were for ascetic and served no purpose other then greeting the passengers with a pleasant entrance. was "Good haul boss" Paul says to himself " we could almost retire after this..." after pushing the doors open he found himself at a grand staircase with crystal chandlers and beautiful works of art hanging on the wall. Against the wall on the stairs sat very expensive sculptures on velvet and satin in expertly carved miniature statues were several frighted crewmen fled in terror "...well is that not a thing of beauty?" he asked himself as the rest of his men rushed past him and grabbed the crewmen "Boss what should we do with em?" of the Paul's men asks "Gather all you can, and place them in the ball room...ensure we have some....leverage should it come to that."

"Copy that, I'll do what I can," radioed Iona, although her voice was laden with uncertainty as she breached the liner on her own. Usually it was inevitable that someone would try to play the hero, and it was easy enough to put them down but if there were any witnesses the idea usually spread. Under her mask, she scowled, but in appearance she was cooly making her way down the hallway, her bolt gun in one relaxed hand, toward the ship's brain.

The door had been locked. She rolled her eyes, tapped a few keys on her robotic arm, and sent a small EMP through the local electronics. With an almost-defeated sounding hiss the door opened and Iona stepped inside, her gaze sweeping over the captain as well as what looked like several electricians whose expressions said that they'd been caught in the act of something. "Come here, Cap," she ordered calmly to the crusty-looking captain. "I won't hurt you," she added as he complied, "as long as your little pals over here stop what they're doing."

The electricians looked up and Iona ordered them to their knees with their hands on their heads.

Lucas entered stealthily, keeping out of sight as he made way toward the luxury frigate's bridge. His gauntlet lit up, flashing a holographic map of the layout. He tapped open a window and input several commands. A progress bar fully uploaded and at the blink of an eye, Lucas had hacked into the security cameras on the bridge. There was a sense of panic in their body language. Some of them were even arguing amongst themselves. The captain joined in on the heated discussion. Lucas couldn't hear what was being said, but if he wagered a guess, it likely involved ill-advised heroics. Tsk Tsk. After a sprint up a few stairs and down a corridor, Lucas had infiltrated the very basic lock system on the sliding doors leading into the bridge with his gauntlet. He slid right in and smoothly unholstered his sidearm, leveling it at the bridge crew, particularly the Captain, who was inches away toward the comms station.

"Now, now. No need to be reckless." Lucas said to the Captain. He eased away from the comm station and put his hands up. His crew did the same, bowing their heads in frustrated defeat. "Everyone, on your knees. Fingers interlocked and behind your heads. Everyone except the captain." Lucas stomped over and grabbed the man by his collar and dragged him over to his chair. The crew yelped and pleaded but Lucas didn't pay it no mind. "Go on the intercom and tell everyone to keep calm. We won't hurt you, but you start actin foolish? Well, our nice guy routine goes out the airlock, along with the rest of you. Comprende?"
