Anna is hardly a tactical genius.

When you think about it though, with Willy essentially a non-entity Anna has become an interesting dynamic in this fight. So far she has proven easy to anger, but not willing to immediately engage anyone. It would be in your best interest not to attack her while Tordor lives and vice versa, as that could potentially see the fight turn into a 2v1 situation.

I like to see her as a Witch from L4D, deadly but not necessarily on anyone's side, just something to be avoided.

Or it makes you a pragmatic fighter who came to fight, and win. That's literally what you said in the attack post though, so I assumed it was prompt rather than polite.

Also I kind of felt that having a bunch of exposition dumped on my character's head by another fighter with no real explanation for why they were so knowledgable was a bit shit story wise

That would largely depend on the character. A knight wouldn't demean himself by using sneak tactics after all. This is the major problem I have with arena. No one is interested in RPing there characters, which makes it a rather pointless exercise. I mean what joy is there to be had in winning an imaginary contest online. I mean it's not any gratification for me but Perhaps I'm just strange. Winning has zero benefit, but an interesting drama is at least something people will remember and talk about.

aside from being able to say I beat you.

But then again, some of the joy has been taking out anyway by everything skewing kind of technical and stuff now, then being more imaginary.
