Evelyn's eyes widened. She gingerly touched the area on her face that was slapped, and slightly flinching.

He began slowly walking back to the car. "I'll drop you off at your house."

Evelyn glared at the brunette. "I'll walk, bitch."

[Undeadwolf]

His eyes widened. "I knew you'd agree with me some time or another." He grabbed his mask, put it on, and entered his car.

Evelyn sighed and re-dressed herself, and began her tiresome journey home.

He'd already done so, and he felt his eyes well up. He blinked the water away, parking in his driveway. He entered the house, going into his bedroom, and taking off his mask. He didn't dare look into the mirror to see the horror that he barely even called his 'face'. He laid down, covering up, and falling asleep.

When Evelyn arrived home, she dressed in her usual PJs and crawled into bed, quickly falling asleep.

Evelyn woke up to the singing of birds

He awoke, the cover thrown to the floor again. He stood up, not slipping, and yawned. He put his mask on, walking into the living room. He wasn't planning anything too eventful today.

Evelyn laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. Jack was just like those men. She ran her finger over her scar and sighed.

He thought about yesterday. He still liked her. He knew he did. He was wrong. He knew she could clearly understand. He knew there was clearly something she was hiding. He knew what it was like... "All~too~well~" he said in a sing-song voice.

Evelyn sat up and sighed, eyeing the door to her basement. Should I? Nah, let him go hungry for a while. She got up and strutted into the kitchen, making a cup of French Vanilla coffee. "My favorite!" she smiled.

He carried on his day as he would any other day.

Evelyn remembered what she had called Jack. Should she apologize? Yeah, she should. And she was gonna. She picked up her phone, and called him.

"Hm?" He turned to his phone. He picked it up, tapping the green phone. "Hello?"

Evelyn let out a sigh of relief when Jack answered the phone. "Hey,uh, Jack! I just wanted to apologize for, up, what I said..."

"What about it?" he muttered angrily. She was on his mind all day. He didn't want to talk to her right now.

"It was... Out of line, pretty much. And I, uh, was wondering if we could have a fresh start! Y'know, start over: Pretend the beach thing never happened." Evelyn was biting her bottom lip. She hoped he would accept her offer.

"I'll think." He hung up the phone with a sigh. He was lazing on the black leather chair in his living room, thinking about his life decisions. He had nothing else to do, so...
