Jack's eyes shot up. "Well... Why aren't we dashing to the hospital right now?" he asked as calmly as he possibly could. He stuck his phone in his pocket, and stood up. He walked towards the door, expecting the others to do the same.

Alex shot up, rushing to Evelyn and picking her up bridal style. He rushed to the car, sitting her in his lap.

Jackknife followed Alex after he sat there in a tiny state of shock. He entered the car and sat down in whatever seat was empty at the time. "Simon/Nathan coming?" He wanted her to be as comfortable as possible, and surrounded by family. "What about your dad?"

"FUCK!" Evelyn screeched, pain engulfing her. Simon ran up to the car, jumping in and sitting the back.
"Dad went to Italy, some business."

"I guess I'm driving... Again..." Jack jumped into the driver's side and started up the car. "Everyone ready? Don't wanna start driving without asking.

"OKAY OKAY!!" he answered, panicked. He'd snapped. He turned and drove as quickly as possible without getting pulled over.

Evelyn laid in the hospital bed, beads of sweat continuously rolling down her face. Alex stood by her side, his hand on her forehead.

Jack was, of course, there holding her hand for the entirety, on the opposite side of the bed as Alex. "It'll all be worth it in the end..." he whispered, not directly, to Evelyn. He was shaking slightly, because blood was obviously seen. He did pretty well with it, to be honest.

Evelyn glanced at her brother who was staring out the window, looking shocked. He quickly glanced at his sister. "I'm a fuckin' uncle.."

Jackknife had excused himself shortly thereafter. "Who's gonna be the adoptive father?" he asked absolutely no one. "I'm sure we all know who the biological one is." He stood up from the chair in the waiting room and went to her hospital room. He knocked on the door. "I might not be allowed inside by Simon, but would someone like me to call Maxwell...?"
