Evelyn shrugged. "I don't see what the fuss is about..."
"Well!.." Simon walked in, holding a hot cup of tea which he got from who knows where. "I do recall reading a horror story--a Creepypasta, specifically, and there was one that caught my eye."
He sipped his tea. Eyelyn raised an eyebrow at her brother. "Earl Gray. Anyways! The story is apparently 'true,'" he made quotation marks with his fingers as he said 'true.' "A female would lure victims, usually little children, toward her by singing a creepy-ass little tune.
"The person that wrote the Creepypasta claims they were lured and barely escaped. The said she had a machete in her hand, the blade ragged and blood-stained. They said she said something along the lines of, 'Have you seen Danny?' The person freaked out and ran. They said her purple eyes were burnt in the back of their head.
"A month or two later, he was out in town late at night, when 'the town was sleeping.'" He quoted. "He heard the cries of a baby, and followed the sound. Once he reached it, the cries had stopped. That same girl was there, except comforting the child. She was holding the baby with one arm, in her hand that same bloody machete."
