Magical Girl Roleplay

Reasons for joining World's End: To bring down the Magical Girl World Defense Force and get back her ‘real’ younger sister by making her a normal girl again

Bio: Alexandra was a normal older sister for most of her life. Born 4 years after Alexandra, Erika was a typical abnoxious child, constantly getting herself in trouble but Alexandra had always been there to rescue her. Alexandra defended her from bullies, tutored her when she needed help, and even went shopping together with her, despite their age difference the two got along fabulously as Alexandra tried her best to support Erika. This typical older sister relationship would change drastically when Alexandra was 16 years old and in high school.

Of course Alexandra had many more activities and duties which lessened their time together but it was more than that, Alexandra could feel her sister becoming more secretive and less inclined to go to her for help. At first Alexandra just thought that her 12 year old sister had decided to start facing life on her own and take charge and was quite happy for her, but she could not help the worried look on Erika’s face at times, and often it was when she was looking at her. Something was up and Alexandra was determined to figure out what was troubling her, since confronting her directly no longer worked Alexandra decided to shadow her sister one day. That was when she discovered her younger sister’s secret.

Alexandra watched in awe and wonder as her sister transformed in front of her eyes in order to combat an evil minion of a malevolent force called Wonderlust. Erika had been transformed into Stardust, a magical girl of growing power that used cosmic rays and star power through her magic. The minion, who was called Balthezar, saw Alexandra and commented about a lost mouse entering their battlefield. When Erika saw her sister she accidently let slip who she was, which gave Balthezar the bright idea of kidnapping Alexandra, before she knew what was happening the deed was already done in order to cause Erika as much pain as possible.

Brainwashed by Wonderlust and given immense power, Alexandra was pitted against her sister time and time again to wear her down. For a while the psychological warfare seemed to be working but they did not count on Erika’s determination to bring her older sister back to normal. What at first was a great advantage to Wonderlust turned into a detriment as Erika’s feelings for her sister fueled her powers higher than they thought possible and with some help from a few neighboring magical girls Wonderlust was destroyed and Alexandra was saved from their control.

With the menace gone things went back to normal for a brief time as the threat was averted; however, two years later was when Nerosis rose into the limelight to destroy the world. With another threat on Alexandra could feel Erika getting worried, since Erika was the magical girl she could now defend her older sister. Afraid of losing her again, Erika did everything in her power to keep Alexandra safe, to the point of oppression. The Magical Girl World Defense Force was formed and Erika eagerly joined it, announcing her presence to the world along with many other magical girls.

From that moment on everything changed, Alexandra is constantly checked upon by Erika to make sure no evil has gotten a hold of her. Like a helicopter mother, Erika seems to be always nearby and constantly checking in which drives Alexandra absolutely crazy, so she moved out as soon as she could to get a job which at least gave her some space from her sister. Of course being the older sister of a now well-known magical girl comes with its consequences too, plenty of Stardust’s fans try to use Alexandra as a middle man for them, some even going as far as to ask Alexandra on a date just so they could meet Erika who was sure to check them out to see if they were fit for her sister or not.

Tired with the world's state of affairs and her sister’s drastic influence on her life, Alexandra found herself wishing for a way to make things as they were, before her sister got her powers. She even wondered if it was possible to regain the power she had as a member of Wonderlust but there was little she could do on her own. Having started her own antique shop after getting a business degree, Alexandra saw many things during her times running the store and then a certain fragment of a talisman managed to find its way into her shop. This was of course a sixth of the talisman used by Nerosis to spread the dark god Vindictus’s magic over the entire Earth.

Not knowing what it was, Alexandra bought it to try and resell it but when she touched the talisman the residual dark energies in the fragment entered her body and fused with the magics left behind by her time under Wonderlust’s control. The energies fused and endowed her with new powers, the person who sold her the artifact had been affiliated with World’s End and left her a note, giving her access to the World’s End network. Realizing this was her chance to set things right, Alexandra quickly joined the organization in order to bring sanity back to the world.

Alter-Ego: Devil Tamer
When she becomes her alter-ego her features change drastically which is very helpful in keeping her identity a secret.

Powers:

Magical Golems: Her Devil Tamer persona is able to construct magical golems out of nearby materials in order to do battle with the magical girls. The golems abilities vary greatly depending on what they were made of, for example a golem created out of water would be able to shoot streams of water, be quite malleable, have great flexability, and be weak to thunder based attacks. Stone golems tend to be very hard to damage physically, have great power, but tend to be on the slow and heavy side.

Mythical Beast Contracts: This is where her alter-ego name comes from. The Devil Tamer is able to form contracts with mythical beasts, for example the augmented creatures created by the later Nerosis can be targeted for these contracts. When a contract is formed between Alexandra and a creature she can then invoke the contract, which adds the creatures powers and skills to Alexandra. Whenever she uses a contract her clothing changes based on the creature used for the contract, such as gaining fiery feathers if for instance she used the contract of a Fiery Pheonix. Along with the wardrobe change she would also gain fire based abilities similar to what a Pheonix would actually use in combat.

When using a mythical beast contract Alexandra becomes unable to control her magical golems, usually meaning they just stop moving, though on rare occasions they also just go berserk on their own, putting anyone and anything in the area in danger.

Current contracts are:

The Unicorn: A contract that focuses on speed. Devil Tamer gains a white horse tail from the small of her back and a silver horn on her forehead. Her boots also become diamond hard like a unicorn’s hoofs. Her speed, kicking power, and horn all help increase her combat prowess on the battlefield, allowing her to strike hard and fast.

Jorogumo the Spider: Her clothing turns black, she gains 4 extra spider limbs that sprout from her back and she gains the ability to use webbing. This contract is focused on agility and flexibility, being able to outwit and out maneuver the enemy while slowing them down with webbing.

Byakko the White Tiger: Her clothing changes to white fur pelts with black stripes, complete with razor sharp claws on her hands. This contract is focused more on power and ferocity to rip apart her enemies.

Oni/Feudal Japan Roleplay


Name: Chiemi Hanayo

Age: 24

Occupation: Doctor/Herbalist

Personality: Hanayo-san has a very down to earth type of personality and is quite a practical individual. She is very hard to rile up and has a very no-nonsense approach to life and her work. She is more than content to play her role in society and the war with no real ambition to rise above her station. One thing of particular interest is that she likes to be busy, be it gathering herbs or preparing tea she prefers to accomplish her tasks rather than chat around. If one finds themselves as one of her patients she will take complete control of the situation to ensure that the healing process proceeds as smoothly as possible, even if she has to give them a little extra pain to ensure their cooperation. Despite her professional demeaner and attitude she does at times show a softer side and can be a very good listener to anyone who just needs to get something off their chest. Chiemi is certainly a very dependable healer of both mind and body.

Background: Chiemi was born and raised in the northern regions of Japan where Oni attacks are much more frequent. A peasant to the core, there had been hardly any chance of a more interesting life, her lot going to be to marry young and raise a family on some rice paddy. This was not to be however as a traveling master of Kampo, the use of medicinal herbs and medicines, and Reiki, or palm healing. Due to constant Oni sightings and attacks the traveling doctor had many patients to visit. During one of his visitations the good doctor found he was lacking a vital herb while in the town Chiemi lived. Chiemi overheard the doctor’s lament, as she had decided to go visit him out of curiousity and much to the doctor’s astonishment Chiemi instantly knew the type of herb he needed and where she could easily procure some in the nearby mountains.

Impressed with her knowledge, the doctor quizzed the young girl who was only 8 years old at the time and found she had a natural talent for identifying herbs and creating medicines. Realizing that such a gifted child needed to be trained, and how such skills were sorely needed during these trying times, the doctor offered her family a decent sum to take her on as an apprentice. The ecstatic parents quickly agreed and Chiemi left her home to work as the assistant to the traveling doctor. She learned many things from the man and soon her skills were quickly approaching his, before she could fully learn everything from the man tragedy struck. During one of their trips they found a dying scout who had been attacked by Oni, the pair tried to save him but to no avail, he died in Chiemi’s arms but not before he told them to run; however, the warning came too late and some Oni in the area came back and found them. Knowing he needed to save Chiemi as she could save many more lives over time than he ever could, the elderly doctor sacrificed himself to give Chiemi time to run away. Chiemi was alone at 15 years old.

Chiemi was a strong young woman and managed to later recover the doctor’s books and recipies and so she went into the forest to practice her medicinal arts. After much experimentation and self-training with the doctor’s materials she felt confident enough to start her own medical service. She was able to avoid Oni detection even when as their numbers were increasing in norther Japan thanks to her knowledge of the land and medicinal herbs. One day as she was practicing her arts, healing the sick, once again she found herself crossing paths with men sworn to protect the land from the Oni. The men had gotten involved in a skirmish with the monsters and were in horrible shape but for the most part alive. Chiemi quickly got to work using her Kampo and Reiki skills she was able to help almost all of the injured recover and even saved a man who was thought to be a hopeless case. The moment that solidified her reputation with the soldiers was when she managed to fend off an Oni that was trying to get at one of the severely injured soliders long enough for the others to come to their rescue. Deeply appreciative of her work, word of the miraculous lady doctor spread throughout the army.

Because of her exceptional skills she was recruited by the military to serve and save as many soldiers lives as possible during the Oni invasion. After serving in the military as a medic for a few years she has found herself hand-picked to one of the members of the battalion to be sent with Yasushi Miyoshi and the 7 swords to put an end to the Oni threat. She will soon find her resolve and skills pushed to the limit.

Skills: The ability to easily locate herbs and create medicines from them is one of her most defining traits. Herbal teas are one of her specialties as she is easily able to brew them up even with the most basic of equipment. Chiemi is also a Second degree practictioner of Reiki, meaning she is able to send Reiki energy through hand placements and with special symbols even practice ‘distant healing’, of course any Reiki treatment is usually accompanied by more normal herbal remedies. Because of her Reiki training she is also accomplished as a messager and can use acupuncture as well. Due to her work in northern territories Chiemi had to learn some sort of defensive skill and so has some practice using her Naginata.

Equipment: Chiemi is never without her Medical Box where she keeps her herbs, powders, medicines, bandages, and even some medical textbooks for good measure. If there is someone in need of healing she is ready to get to work immediately.
She also carries a Naginata for protection.


Notes: Due to her rough, traveling lifestyle Chiemi is quite used to making rather nutritional based, rather than good tasting, meals. As such she does have a bit of a weakness to tasty treats and sweets when she can get them. If one wants to get on Chiemi’s good side the best way is by treating her to something tasty, after all, food is quite practical.


I was also thinking for her background it might be nice to maybe have her heal one of the other characters in the roleplay during her travels to build up a bit of an extra dynamic to the ground instead of just being picked for the battalion only for her skills. Any takers?

Bio: An artificial being constructed to act as kind of a supreme logistics an analysis robot. Her AI is highly advanced and some swear she actually is sentient. Equipped with the best processers, advanced weaponry and even a hover system, Sammy is a powerful and very heavy girl, around 800 pounds at a height of 5’1’’. Because of how money was invested in her, she usually cannot be seen on missions and tends to act as E.V.I.L. c. ‘s mission provider and analyst. Due to the fact she is a machine, management has decided to test out her skills in the bronze division to work out bugs and gather data.

Bio: A member of a powerful black dragon clan, with some roots to ancient Chinese legend, Alexi was raised in a proud household. In the past there have been other Phasing events that her household has been a part of, even at times making pacts with humans so while she had been flung unexpected into the human world there was precedence from before her time about what to do, though the world was a much different place than when her ancestors had visited it. Once The Phasing started in full swing Alexi had been traveling around in the realm of dragons to visit some cousins of hers when a portal ripped her from the dragon realm straight into the human world. Of course she was in her natural form at the time, a black and red Chinese dragon which caused quite a bit of chaos despite the fact there already was so much going on.

She was promptly attacked by both humans and other beings out of fear and so first impressions of the human world were not very high. Still with a little roasting and a transformation into a much more human form, and agreement was quickly reached between her and the humans. After helping them take out some of the worst threats she found herself trapped in the human world with nowhere to go. Having no wish to harm the human population, partly due to some ancestral pacts, she was happy to take up lodging with a kind police officer and learned much about the world and humans during her stay; however as a proud member of a dragon brood she felt horrible that there was little she could do to help as the man refused to let her help in his work and therefore was grateful when the call to go to the Pandora Complex reached her. Finally she would be able to ‘pay her rent’ so to speak.

Skills/Powers:

Human Transformation: After appearing in the human world she realized why some legends had her ancestors, in one case her grandfather, take on human form. The realm of dragons is a very different dimension; full of mana that dragon’s naturally filter into their bodies, enabling many of their more impressive feats. Taking on a human form helps a dragon conserve their mana reserves and makes mana usage more efficient, which is essential in a dimension like the human world where mana is in short supply. In this form Alexi can actually gain excess mana.

Dragon Flight: As a Chinese dragon, Alexi does not use wings but instead rides the currents of mana. In a sense she just floats through the air and can do it outside of her dragon form but not at any great speed, still it can come in useful.

Dragon Strength: Being a dragon, even in human form she is still quite powerful and agile, though more of her agility is seen while as a human. While her strength is vastly reduced she can still overpower most extraordinary species, at least the ones that are not naturally gifted with great strength.

Dragon Fang: The power of her talons and fangs are compacted into a sharp blade, a Chinese Jian and is technically a part of her body. Its sharpness seems unreal as it can slice through solid steel and has the ability of creating a ‘wind slice’ to target far away enemies, though its effective range is only about 100 feet, after that becoming something akin to being hit by a full blast blow dryer. In dragon form the blade naturally fuses back into her body as it is not longer needed.

Dragon’s Breath: Useable in both forms, naturally it is a lot weaker in her new default state. For one thing she is unable to sustain her fiery breath for very long because of her much diminished lung capacity, also because of diminished temperature anything that is flame resistant can pretty much stop the flames in their tracks.

Dragon Form: A dragon naturally uses mana, being adapted to their own dimension, and so Alexi has found that she is unable to maintain this form for more than 5 minutes at a time, at which point she has to revert and wait for her mana reserves to charge.

Other Things of Interest:
- Alexi has been rather bad with technology since she arrived. It’s not that she doesn’t like technology it just doesn’t want to cooperate with her. Alexi considers electricity kind of like a magic source for humans, considering how it operates such large and complex machines.
- Alexi is also somewhat interested in human culture and therefore is usually up for trying some new fashion or human activity, though usually she will dress in a traditional kimono.

Skills:
Advanced Soul Perception: Eloise is quite adept at the art of Soul Perception and can sense a soul even at a distance. Every year she seems to gain greater affinity for Soul Perception which at times can bring her unwanted attention.

Efficient Soul Wavelength Control: Her Soul is still growing so it will be a while before it reaches its peak strength but with the soul wavelength she does have is very precise. Her ability to manipulate Soul Wavelengths is quite advanced, making Soul Resonance quite powerful when performed correctly. While not that powerful yet, she already has started using Soul Force to a degree, allowing her to attack effectively even without a weapon.

Personality: Eloise is a rather shy girl who finds it hard to talk to others and make friends. This seems to contrast greatly with her abilities to manipulate soul wavelengths and acute soul perception but perhaps because of her personality she found the need to rely on another way to ‘read’ people. When confronted she is likely to back down and has a hard time dealing with pushy people as they can scare her quite easily, this in effect often makes the pushy person feel bad as she is rather quick to get teary-eyed. If one would describe her in a word, probably ‘sensitive’ would fit the bill; she can be quick to catch onto things though voicing her findings can be a bit of a challenge. One would think such a sheltered-esque girl would be useless in a fight but surprisingly this is not the case, at times at least.

Eloise has a sort of defense mechanism built into her psyche that activates during combat. Before this happens she can often seen quite flighty and cowardly but once the switch is turned her true skills come to the forefront. Eloise effectively shuts down her emotions, becoming almost doll-like in expression and at times movement which allows her to completely concentrate on the fight and her impressive Soul Manipulation skills. The change in fighting prowess and strategy throws most opponents off, especially as they are unable to read her anymore due to her low-emotion state. Once she snaps back she’s pretty quick to return to her normal, flustered self.

Biography: As her rather flamboyant name implies Eloise comes from a rather extravagant household that liked to toss money around like it was rice on a wedding day. Despite coming from such a household Eloise found that such riches merely isolated her or else made ‘friends’ try to get close to her to exploit her wealth. Perhaps it was her inner wish to want to know other people’s intentions that triggered her sensitivity to soul wavelengths, allowing her to unknowingly sense at times when something was ‘off’ about a person. Eloise became rather demure and kept to herself most of the time, somewhat avoiding people being unsure of how to deal with others. Things might have kept going downhill from there until an event changed her life forever.

Witches and other entities can often realize when a person is gaining soul power and soul perception and as her untrained power grew she got some unwanted attention. While her family was out on the town one night they were attacked by a monster that was attracted to her soul. When the monster had her cornered in her fear she unleashed her soul’s power for the first time and used Soul Force for the first time much to the monster’s surprise. Of course she didn’t defeat it with just that but it bought her just enough time for a nearby meister to slay the beast and save her. Impressed by her soul control the meister suggested that Eloise had what it took to become one herself. This event also triggered her ‘switch-off’ ability for combat.

Partly as a way to toughen her up a little, but mostly for her own protection her parents insisted that she start to train to become a meister. Always ready to obey her parents she did as instructed and is now a DWMA student in training to become a meister. She certainly has a long way to go though.

Bio: Emilia Glarthson’s family comes from a realm teeming with mythological beings. Many mythological beings from human legend that were trapped in the human dimension during smaller phasing incidents, such as the Cyclops from The Odyssey. She comes from a line of Cyclops of rather small proportions, generally larger than most humans but tiny compared too many of their more massive cousins. Because of their diminutive size they can be looked down upon by others but her family line’s strength cannot be disputed so the discrimination is usually mild. All in all theirs was a rather average family which for a Cyclops tends to be small ranging from one to two children; her family had two, Emilia and her older brother Erik.

When Emilia was 14 years old, a phasing event occurred which deposited Emilia in the human dimension, right in front of her family’s eyes. The last thing she saw of them was her older brother reaching out, trying to grab her hand but the portal swallowed her up before he could reach her. For better or for worse she was dropped in the middle of Edge City. Confused and afraid, the already 5’10” Cyclops stumbled through the city. Concerned citizens called the police though they were not equipped to handle someone with her strength. The Anti-Monster Society caught wind of the situation and quickly captured the strong teen. Thankfully before she could be taken away the manager of the Pandora Complex happened upon the scene and decided to take her in on the condition that she would join the Monster and Supernatural Extermination Squad. Seeing the hatred in the Anti-Monster factions’ eyes she knew that this invitation would most certainly save her and took him up on the offer. Grudgingly the Anti-Monster Society allowed the deal to occur.

Emilia quickly entered a strict training regime which an emphasis on marksmanship once it was determined she had remarkable eyesight. In a year she was a trainee that could go out on the field with a mentor and in three was a full member of MASES. Having been an agent now for a few years Emilia has grown appreciative of at least some human culture and quite a bit appreciative of technology.

Skills/Powers:

Superior Strength: As a Cyclops Emilia is gifted with an immense amount of strength enabling her to lift up to 2 tons. She can bend steel, as long as it’s not too thick, and can punch her own handholds in concrete. Because of her strength she is sometimes used as kind of a pack mule; however, it also gives her the ability to use advanced weaponry that would be impossible for a human to use because of its weight.

Expert Marksmanship: Emilia has trained with guns quite a bit and become quite proficient with a wide variety of firearms. Because of her strength most of her weapons are specially made to be study enough to survive the occasionally squeeze.

[Sniper Rifles]: Emilia’s accuracy with a good sniper rifle is nothing to sneeze at. She has trained specifically in order to hit moving objectives with utmost precision. She’s trying to increase her speed currently without sacrificing accuracy.

[Anti-Tank Rifle]: For Monsters with natural armor, a weapon with good piercing power is needed and that is the Anti-Tank Rifle. Larger than most human ready rifles, her version of an Anti-Tank Rifle is specifically designed with her strength in mind to allow the weapon to reach greater heights of accuracy and power. It is capable of breaching most tank’s armor and she is even given a wide variety of shells to use with her weapon. She has shells designed specifically for armor piercing, explosive shells, gas shells, and few other types she takes on specific missions. When on a mission she carries ammo on her person along with her gun carrying case.

Cyclops’ Eye: The single eye of a Cyclops is much more powerful than the combined might of most two-eyed beings. Do to their eye’s advanced biology their single eye does not suffer from depth perception problems like a single-eyed human would. A Cyclops also has the ability to change their eye’s frequency range, allowing them to see ultraviolet light or even infrared. Of course having such an advanced eye does have its drawbacks, it is an extremely sensitive organ and is easily irritated. Sudden bright lights can daze a Cyclops, gases and allergens easily irritate the eye, also attacking a Cyclops in the eye can easily cause a mortal wound.

Other Things of Interest:

-Emilia is a big fan of hair clips, both for aesthetic reasons and took keep hair out of her eye.

-Emilia is an avid reader able to devour 500 + pages in a day easily. Her reading interesting range from thick novels to manga.

Personality: Since the destruction of her people Glacier has really transformed personality wise into a person very much like her namesake. As strong and hard as ice, her personality is really a defense mechanism to deal with the fact that she is now alone in the universe and has had to rely on herself for so long. Since she has never stayed in one place for too long, for fear of being discovered, she has not had a long-lasting relationship since the Planet Trade Organization’s destruction. There is a soft spot somewhere deep inside but good luck chipping away at her frozen heart, a tragedy like she has gone through leaves deep scars.

History: A distant cousin of the now deceased Cold Family, Glacier grew up during a time when the Planet Trade Organization had lost its ruling family and had split into warring factions trying to take total control of the once great empire. With the loss of royalty a huge power vacuum occurred in the Planet Trade Organization as subordinates quickly tried to become the new ruler of the Organization. Glacier was raised by a specific faction that was trying to reinstate the Cold Dynasty but one under their control and therefore tried to mold her into their leader and puppet. Glacier however was not as war driven as her relatives and therefore tried to stay out of the civil war as much as possible, letting other relatives battle it out for the throne. She also proved to be quite adapt at realizing the organization’s goals and therefore managed to hold onto her own ideals.

Soon it became apparent that Empress Ica was the true ruler of the organization and she quickly took control. Glacier took on the role of a high-ranking officer in the empire and worked hard to rebuild it after the devastation of war; however this reconstruction of their empire was short lived. Hurt by internal strife the Planet Trade Organization was too weak to defeat the invasion by the Dark Saiyan’s armies. Glacier fought hard but when she realized all was lost, decided to abandon the organization and the Empress to go into hiding, she barely escaped with her life and with her survival managed to avoid the complete genocide of her race.

During her travels Glacier has made sure to keep a low profile to avoid detection by the Dark Saiyan empire and has trained and studied so that one day she could have her revenge on the Saiyans. For years she has not dared to change out of her least powerful form less she accidently reveal herself to the dark ones; unfortunately a rare side effect has occurred that is most troubling, she is currently unable to unlock her true power and at the is moment stuck in her 1st transformation. Troubled by this turn of events she has searched fruitlessly for a ‘cure’ but has been unable to find one, as there is a high probably that the 'disease' is not natural and is in fact a curse put on her during a stay on one of the planet's that had been subjugated by her race. There is one dim light of hope, the legendary Super Saiyan Goku was raised and trained on Earth, a rather backward planet but if he was able to reach such power on that planet perhaps she could find a way to unlock her own power and even expand upon her normal power.

With this mission in mind, Glacier has decided to make her way to Earth in hopes of regaining her power so she can strike back at the Dark Saiyans. Like it or not, there may also be need to find allies in order to exact her revenge, the Z fighters may be gone but perhaps there are still powerful beings on the planet. Of course finding people that might actually help her could prove difficult, considering the possibility that Freiza might be the monster in bedtime stories for many races and he was kind of the symbol for her race.

Before starting off on her own in the private security business, she managed to achieve the rank of lieutenant at the age of 25. After entering the private security business she found herself still itching to explore space, therefore she has been handing out her services to expeditions heading out into the far reaches of the Solar System. Her latest contract is with the XEON III as it intercepts passing comets for research and mining purposes.

Abilities & Skills: An able chemist and herbologist, Ophilia is able to easily create usable potions for medical or poisonous uses. A skilled healer with a stellar track record, she prides herself on her ability to save lives when she is counted on to do so. Able to identify illness quickly, she can almost always prepare the right concoction for the job at hand.

In combat she uses a combination of her Hana Hana no mi abilities and Kenbushoku Haki, of which she developed more strongly after eating her Devil Fruit as she became more in tune with nature and life. When fighting, Ophilia tends to be more defensive than offensive, making sure to evade attacks and prolong the fight to give time for her Hana Hana no mi to really take effect and turn the tide of battle in her favor. She is quite agile, light, and flexible giving her a great range of movement in combat.

Personality: Ophilia is a complicated individual who has quite a few different facets to her personality. She is a prideful person at times, yet can remain calm in most situations and not let pride blind her. Being quite intelligent she is not easily tricked and yet still somehow manages to hold onto a somewhat naïve innocence that most people lose early on in life. Her personality traits can seem paradoxical, but perhaps she is so vibrant because of her new symbiotic relationship with plant life as her life is essentially not just her own anymore. A person will almost always feel that there is much more to her then meets the eye but be unable to see how they can dig deeper.

Despite her somewhat contradictory nature she is quite loyal and true to the Marines and will therefore go to great lengths for their cause. She sometimes reveals a somewhat alien side in the fact that her values have changed somewhat duo to living with plants all the time. It is somewhat easy for her to not think highly of ‘animals’ and therefore she has no qualms in performing rather unsavory acts such as chemically enhanced interrogations. She does not take pleasure in causing pain to others but it does not bother her on as deep a level as it would most people. Thankfully she does respect her colleagues and she can form normal relationships to other people, much to the crew’s relief.

Biography: Born on Junk Island Ophilia did not enjoy a happy existence due to the condition of the island. Like its namesake the island was covered with junk, most of it complete garbage which forced the inhabitants to scrounge about for what they could sell or use to live off of. Plant life was almost nonexistent so every little bit of grass and herb that grew was quite precious. The island was also a frequent pirate stop so the residents lived in fear and found places to hide each day.

By coincidence as she was hiding when some pirates landed she stumbled into a sort of secret garden, an oasis among the heaps of junk and it was there she met the Devil Fruit that would change her life. Upon eating the rather ‘star’ shaped fruit her Hana Hana no mi abilities awakened, which allowed her to use her power to grow plants where nothing could grow before which was a great boon to the island; However, the strange turn of events piqued the pirates interest who after figuring out what happened captured her.

All seemed lost as she was still quite young at the time and unable to effectively wield her power when the Marines came. The marines trounced the pirates and freed her. Feeling indebted and grateful, she decided her talents would be best in service to the World Government and so she enrolled in the Marines, after making sure a sizable portion of Junk Island could grow foliage. Since then she has learned a great deal, especially about plants and medicine, and soon found herself on a particular ship with a particular crew.

Personality: Rufus Grindstone is a guy with a very rough personality, just like his last name. He can be quite pushy and is easily seen as an overbearing bully. Rufus has little interest in ‘personal space’ and will nonchalantly get in anyone’s face. Of course being so forward has its obvious downsides and often he will get into trouble, though in an impromptu scrap he will often come on top so he tends not to learn how to act more friendly. If there is something he wants to accomplish or just wants, he’ll use anything at his disposal to get it, which usually results in intimidation.

He is not all bite, thankfully, and at least has some redeeming qualities. Rufus will be the first to confront another bully for instance and will often jump to anyone’s defense if they are threatened. Rufus also has a tendency to do little things for those he considers his friends, small good deeds like procuring that last cream puff in a shop window, buying a drink, taking first watch if needed, perhaps even opening a door for a lady, just small little things people might consider a bit insignificant. Even when he does good deeds though, usually his presentation is still quite gruff and not exactly inviting so often the effect is rather ruined by his attitude.

Bio: Rufus Grindstone has a hereditary curse of the werewolf. Actually it is unknown if his species was just born that way or if he really had a human ancestor that someone contracted the werewolf curse. In any event that does not matter, all that does is that Rufus is gifted in the fact that he can mingle with the humans in his human form, and gain great power in werewolf form. He grew up in one of the thriving Earth cities and was quickly on his way to becoming a top dog in town. Always a bit reckless and having a bit of a mean streak, he liked to watch others cower in fear at this claws and fangs.

While naturally more powerful than most others in werewolf form, rather early in his young, nearly criminal career, he was beaten rather profoundly by a human fighter. This early defeat quickly made him realize he needed to train to be better and he learned about how to control his Ki extremely quickly, being a somewhat natural fighter. Once he learned about precise Ki control he once again found himself dominating most scuffles but he realized he was on a rather pathetic path and actually started being helpful by training himself for the Earth Defense Forces. Now he fights and intimidates criminals and Earth’s enemies, when he’s not basically doing to same thing to those around him.

A strong and nimble fighter, Rufus was born for close quarters combat. He likes to charge quickly in to bring the pain to his opponents as he boosts his own power and claws with his Ki.

Signature Combat Techniques:

Crescent Slash: Rufus lashes out with his claws, charged with his Ki. When he strikes lines of Ki trail behind his claws, like the tail-lights on a car at night, then the Ki jumps out in front of his slash, striking and tearing into his opponent even if his claws never touch them. The move often catches opponents off guard the first time they see it. The move essentially extends his own claw range but is only effective in close quarters combat as the Ki slashes lose potency exponentially the farther they travel.

Blood Frenzy: Dashes at an opponent with a claw to slash at them, passes them, then immediately stops, pumps Ki into his legs and jumps back at his opponent to claw them again. Due do his agility he is able to do this quick, fly by attack up to five times in quick succession before he needs to disengage and try something else.

Death Fangs: As a werewolf Rufus has sharp fangs with which he can bite his opponents, even through armor. When Rufus bites and enemy he will charge Ki in his mouth, let go, often kicking his opponent to gain distance, and fire a white Ki blast at the area he just bit. The bite helps open up a hole in his enemy’s defenses for his Ki blast to slam through with gusto.

Alpha Wolf Mode: When Rufus needs to go all out he can kick his body into overdrive, his hair grows, turning rather wild, and all his muscles bulge and vein up. Speed, power, and Ki drastically rise during this time and he becomes unnaturally blood-thirsty. This overdrive also causing an extreme heightening of all his senses, which is the mode’s true strength as if allows him to fairly accurately predict enemy moves to counter and dodge them. At the moment Rufus is unable to effectively control his heightened state and so has trouble thinking clearly when in Alpha Mode. He also has not reached a point where he can naturally enter the state and needs outside stimulus in the form of a special pill developed for his use.

Personality: Jeene is a very driven individual who can easily forget that people have a certain necessity called sleep. She works hard at whatever she does and is always attempting to create new equipment and at times, robots. An engineer to the core she has a bazillion ideas to try out and takes great pride in her work. Any flaws in design or performance just make her that more determined to do better the next time. There is almost nothing that can keep this girl down as she’ll keep plunging on ahead, at least until sleep catches up with her. Because of her unique personality and talents, she was given the nickname Qwirky which slightly resembles her adopted name.

Bio: Jeene was born to a loving family; however very early on her family realized they did not have the means to support a child. Worried for Jeene’s safety and future, she was put up for adoption and was picked up by a well-off family with fairly close ties to Capsule Corp. This inviting, though sometimes competitive atmosphere, created by the Quark’s own children, allowed Jeene to tinker and experiment to her heart’s content, as long as she got some kind of result. Expecting great things from her forced the young girl to become proficient at what she did and soon her talents were recognized by those around her, though at times this caused tension with the Quark’s blood children who saw her talent as a threat.

Jeene always knew she was adopted and actually managed to keep in tabs with her real parents over the years. She does not hold anything against them, realizing they took the best action they could at the time and is even grateful for how that situation turned out. Jeene was blocked out of any real inheritance from her adopted parents but considering her talents there was little need to rely on them forever, so she set out as an inventor and engineer for a sub-group of Capsule Corp.

Jeene has always noticed that she tends to have a lot more stamina and strength than those around her. According to her true parents, she has blood-ties to a hero from the past, though which hero that was is unknown to them. Whatever the reason for her incredible vitality it certainly help her become the competent engineer and part-time fighter, she is today. Jeene uses her inventive side to create gadgets, armor, and weapons for her own and others’ uses.

Jeene tries to make sure she can sufficiently fight an enemy at all distances and practices for such encounters. She tends to fight from a distance more often to prevent wear and tear on her equipment when she can help it however.

Special Equipment: Jeene has fashioned for herself some very sophisticated equipment to help boost her abilities. As the equipment has been customized for her own use very few would be able to make any good use unless they had the expertise to modify it. When not carrying the equipment on her person, she has a compartment on her work belt that contains it all in capsules so she can pop them out at any time.

Ki Enhancement Gauntlets: Due to her work tinkering, she does not have as much time to train her body as other fighters so she came up with these gauntlets to help her more easily tap into latent Ki reserves. The gauntlets, along with helping ease the flow of Ki in her body to her hands, also work as makeshift shields to protect herself, which she can enhance with Ki.

Multi-Launcher: A canon that can be loaded with special ammo, also contained in capsules that are loaded into the gun directly. Special shots include a Ki-Enhanced Capture Net, Flash-Bangs, Incinerary Rounds, and at times robots. The canon is used mostly for strategic uses rather than as a weapon since most strong fighters can use Ki blasts for quicker and stronger results.

Skate Shoes: These special shoes allow Jeene to jet across the ground without having to move her legs. While most skilled fighters can just fly, these shoes allow Jeene to keep two feet planted firmly on the ground while still moving which can prove to be a critical advantage while on the defense. Also this allows her to dodge without moving a muscle, making it harder for an opponent to read her movements. Aside from the land maneuverability these shoes also have the same Ki-enhancement technology as her gauntlets allowing her to charge up Ki in her feet and legs more rapidly.

Signature Combat Techniques:

Cruise Missile: A very straightforward technique where Jeene leaps straight at an opponent, her arms crossed in front of her in an X. Concentrated Ki forms in front of her, compliments of the Ki Enhancement Gauntlets, allowing her to smash straight into her opponent for maximum force. After unleashing the full force of the impact Jeene either jumps back as far as she can, or keeps on going if she manages to bowl over her opponent. The move is stronger if the opponent is then forced into another object such as a wall.

Return Ball: Jeene concentrates a compact ball of Ki in both of her hands and then kicks it at her opponent. Unlike a regular Ki blast the ball does not explode on contact and instead keeps going even after hitting or missing the target. Jeene can then signal the ball to return to her, potentially scoring another hit on the usually unsuspecting opponent. The Ki ball then disintegrates before reaching her.

Shatter Blaster: Usually charged in her hands, it starts out as a single beam then only a few feet out, scatters out in a multitude of directions. Not a very powerful technique but rather hard to avoid.

Delay Mines: A useful trick Jeene learned, she creates Ki bombs and lays them out behind her. The Ki bombs stay put and act as deterrents for pursuing enemies, and is quite useful if she can retreat through narrow spaces. She can also place the Ki mines in front of her to try and force her opponent to either plow through them or dodge around, often giving her the opportunity to strike as they come in.

Energy Blitz: Jeene proceeds to pound away at her opponent with a rapid succession of powerful Ki blasts. The move is designed to keep piling up damage as quickly as possible in a short amount of time. Considering the rapid rate of fire she has to concentrate when using the technique, leaving her open when other opponents are around.

Skills: Kiku is extremely flexible and fast, capable of outrunning and out maneuvering even skilled opponents. Like a bee or a snake she can strike in and out of combat quickly. Being rather small and thin she is also able to slip into encampments, buildings, and so on quickly and silently. She is also skilled with throwing weapons such as needles and kunai. Raised as an assassin she is knowledgeable of Shinobi arts and techniques.

Bio: Kiku Kurohana was originally Hikari Satsume. A mere six years old was when she was forcibly taken from her own and impressed into the Tsukuyomi Clan’s secret services. It was a special program she was brought into because it was believed she had potential to have a higher resistance to demonic influences and could be used as a demon blade wielder. Trained to be a highly lethal weapon, she literally no childhood since being brought in but those who took her were thrilled when they found out their initial assessments proved to be correct.
Fashioned into an effect killing machine and infiltrator, the newly christened Kiku Kurohana, upon her completion of her training, was given her demon blade to use for the Tsukuyomi Clan and the Shogun. Since being given the blade she has had little time to rest, being given mission after mission to further her Clan’s agendas. It is hard to say if there is any of Hikari Satsume left in her.

Brief History:
Born in Great Britain, her life took quite a turn when at four years old, she and her family moved to Japan due to her Father’s work at the embassy there. As such she is quite bilingual in English and Japanese though living in a foreign country does have its challenges. Despite being a foreigner she rose up to the occasion, largely in part due to her passion for Cardfight Vanguard. As soon as she was old enough, she started to attend Cray Academy and through fierce determination rose through the ranks toward the top of the class where she is determined to keep herself.

Personality:
After becoming one the top players in school Emelia became a bit arrogant about her power. To separate the chaff from the wheat she carries around a special Nova Grappler deck to use against those she believes are not up to her level. Needless to say because of this attitude there are quite a few with resentment against her which gives her a bit of a bad reputation. She somewhat revels in the bad rep and will at times go out of her way to crush someone she thinks deserves it.

While fighting she tends to keep her arrogant attitude even when she is losing which makes people think she is just being stuck up. The truth is her arrogance is somewhat of a façade, a way to validate herself and keep up the illusion as one of the best. Inside she is aware that she still has room to grow but is loathed to admit it.

History:
Born and raised in Germany Adler became one of the top players in the European Circuit. Dark Irregulars became his go to clan, their overwhelming power being able to crush even the strongest of opponents. His family never quite understood his passion for the game but when the Link Joker invasion began he was one of the few that managed to avoid getting reversed. Soon after however, he decided to quit professionally and became a coach for reasons unknown.

After a year of coaching, one of his teams made with all the way to the national semi-finals and so he was contracted by the Academy to become a teacher. Seeing no reason to refuse the offer Eric accepted and has taught at least 2 years now. He takes his job seriously and works hard to ensure his students grow strong and to be able to compete seriously.

Personality:
Mr. Adler is a person who can seem rather overly serious in all that he does. This straight-laced attitude can be off putting but there is always an undercurrent of care to what he does that can be seen if one looks hard enough. He also has an iron will and at times can get a bit miffed by careless attitudes.

In a fight Mr. Adler can show a bit of a different side. Despite his seriousness, when he plays his love for the game seems to shine through. If the game is particularly good though, a hint of sadness can sometimes be detected in his eyes, perhaps thinking back to his time in the circuit, or perhaps something else.

Teaching Style: He tries to change his style depending on his opponent. For someone new to the game he will try to explain what is going on in greater detail to improve their understanding, pointing out things to consider and maybe a suggestion or two. For those with a firm grasp he will play without holding back so he can properly gauge the student’s abilities and then show them what they could improve on next time around.

My Little Pony Roleplay

Name: Amon Crystis

Appearance: As a changeling Amon Crystis has the typical features of one of his kind. He has a black, carapace-coated body with the typical holes in his legs, wings, and tail that reveal his insect-like heritage. Setting himself apart from most of his race, Amon has a neck-length, fiery red mane, eyes like blood, a ragged flame colored tail, and transparent crimson wings. His horn also has one round hole in it which is often only a trait of higher class changelings and shows that he has the capacity for magic. He is average of height and build, which makes him perfect for most shape shifting tasks. Amon is known to wear special battle armor, dark blue in color which contrasts perfectly with his red mane, eyes, tail, and wings. To add a bit more of changeling’s flair his armor has jagged spikes on the shoulder plates and greaves.

Skills: As a changeling Amon Crystis of course has the abilities of his race, being able to shape shift into any pony made him adept at infiltration and subterfuge. Many a pony has fallen for his disguises and he is a very quick study at understanding the targets of his transformations which give him a lot more credibility than just taking on their form. Amon has trained his eye to pick up the slightest variations in body language and facial twitches to make his transformations as genuine as possible. He has gotten well enough at acting that he has been known to mimic ponies of both genders, wealthy, poor, and even officials.

Amon has devoted himself to learning as many different weapons as possible to increase his ability of effectively fooling and manipulating his enemies when the need to transform arrives. As an infiltrator of Whitegold his weapons of choice are axes, daggers, shields, and the arquebus. Each of these weapons he has managed to be highly skilled in their use but he has yet to truly master any one weapon since he often needs to change his armament. With the weapons he has some amount of skill in he can defeat the average user without using too much effort but against those with higher skills he will find himself hard pressed. A person who truly knows their weapon would only have a slight amount of trouble fighting against Amon with the same weapon, in those cases Amon has to rely on his other skills to compensate for their large difference in skill. On the side he has been trying to learn other weapons as well to increase his versatility.

As a higher breed of changeling Amon has been gifted with the ability to use magic by Queen Chrysalis, which allows Amon to fully take on the qualities of a unicorn instead of just pegasi and earth ponies. His magic is not as powerful of say the typical unicorn but he can control it well enough to effectively aim his arquebus and use it for other minor telekinesis purposes. He has potential to grow stronger in magic but has not had the time to work on it aside from getting the qualifications needed to pass as a unicorn.

History: Born and raised in the Changeling kingdom, Amon was destined to be an important instrument for Queen Chrysalis when his horn was found to have a hole in it, indicating he had the capacity to learn magic. Raised to be a spy and infiltrator it would be Amon’s duty to create openings for changelings to enter into the ranks of one of the houses of Equestria. As a changeling who could effectively mimic a unicorn’s magic there was no doubt he would be sent to either House Moon and Star or House WhiteGold. In the end it was decided that WhiteGold would be his mission since WhiteGold dealed heavily in information, which would give the changelings a better view on the comings and goings within the fractured Equestria.

Raised on the old tales of how Equestria was a land full of love which the changelings strived for Amon was more than eager to fulfill his role for the changeling kingdom but the stories were of the past Amon quickly found out. After entering Whitegold, Amon was able to infiltrate the ranks as a pony of fortune as a way to gain information and access to the most impregnable fortress in all of Equestria. Taking on a variety of jobs, Amon was quickly able to gain wealth and his own information network in the city and eventually rose in rank to that of an Arqueteers to become a member of the Equestrian Trade Union but in order to do that Amon had to make many sacrifices and double-cross those who were innocent and those who were not. Those he took advantage of often lost all they owned in one way or another as he manipulated them with his wits and while he never batted an eyelash at seeing a haughty and arrogant pony meet his social and financial demise there were those who never had ill will toward him or anyone else for the matter; each time he had been forced to betray them for his cause he felt an increasing pang of guilt, which despite all his logical reasoning that it was his duty, still stayed with him even after the deed was done. At the height of his career in WhiteGold, Amon soon found himself at an impasse despite all the sacrifices of others he had to make. The Equestrian Trade Union gave him power and influence to be sure but in order to make a real difference Amon quickly realized he needed to enter into the Society of Canterlot Nobles. While he had the good sense to impersonate a unicorn it was nearly impossible to enter the society without being born into it or marrying into it.

As he had risen through Whitegold’s ranks however he really saw firsthand the sorry state the land of Equestria was in. The wealthy and powerful trampled on the weak in their strive for power and glory, the greatest example of cruelty coming from a certain Diamond Tiara who was absolutely ruthless in her quest for greater riches and wealth. After becoming one of the Arqueteers he found himself hearing rumors from other rich ponies and his underground contacts about the atrocities committed by the wealthy, for example how Rarity had become the most powerful pony in all of WhiteGold by planning the murder of her husband. The sad truth was the all the rumors were so easy to believe, especially since his early days pretending to be a pony of fortune where he sometimes had to travel out into The Undercity. The stark contrast between the riches and glamour of the inner city from the filthy streets, beggars, and thieves that littered the roadways, it was all so sickening. Even the famous District of Delight was so full of corruption and debauchery that Amon often felt sick when he had to deal with the riffraff there. He knew it was important for the changelings to have a pulse on this rich information center but was there any real reason to take over such a loveless city? There was lust and greed aplenty but actual love there was hardly any, in fact the only two high society members that seemed to have any ounce of true love in them were Sweetie Belle, who tried her best to care for her older sister, and General Fancy Pants who was well known for his generosity to the sick and needy of The Undercity.

Amon needed a way into the upper echelon if he was to solidify the changeling’s presence in the city but the problem was Rarity was growing increasingly paranoid as the crystalitis took over her body and warped her mind. There was also the issue of Fleur de Lis, patron of the District of Delights who regularly visited the Society of Canterlot Nobles to interrogate and spy on members. House WhiteGold had masters of manipulation and despite his talents Amon realized that if he rose too high up the ladder his discovery was almost assured. Thankfully Amon at the very least was able to get in the good graces of the ever ambitious Diamond Tiara and has been working through her to get at the pulse of WhiteGold. Despite his best efforts the most he managed was to expand his information network and get a few more changelings into minor positions.

Unable to achieve his true objectives Amon was about to try and embark on a risky gamble to try and get to the Heart of WhiteGold through Sweetie Belle, Rarity’s younger sister. As one of the few ponies that seemed to retain the sense of love he had been told about since he was a pupa, Amon could not help but wonder if the reason he had decided on this route was because Sweetie exemplified that a true pony of Equestria should be, strong, kind, and ready to lend a helping hand. While he was planning his next move he received his first mysterious dream where he found himself standing alongside a variety of ponies and other species at Redheart Refuge. The dream was so real Amon could not help but give it some considerable thought; his mission was in House WhiteGold, to use its vast information and resources to the changelings’ advantage as they tried to slip back into Equestria but was that really the right course? Could there be a better way to go about making a place where the changeling race could thrive? The dreams just kept coming back each night and soon Amon realized that the gamble he was going to attempt would almost certainly be a suicide mission, perhaps there was some merit to his dreams but if he left WhiteGold would he not be betraying Queen Chrysalis? He also realized, much to his surprise, that even if he had managed to get in the good graces of Sweetie Belle that he did not want to betray such a gentle soul as he had done with others before to get to where he was now.

Amon seriously doubted by this time that he could accomplish any more than he already had in the impregnable fortress that had been Manehattan. The information network would suffer without him around to tie connections with Diamond Tiara but it would still be in place nonetheless, and he would no longer have to help that despicable mare. Also Amon realized that in the state Equestria was in, even if the changeling kingdom managed to take over the land the amount of love that the changelings craved to increase their power would be so low it would be like eating bread crumbs for dinner, perhaps there was some merit in feeling the elements and restoring their power despite the obvious risks they presented? Asking the changelings in the area and his Queen’s forgiveness, Amon left WhiteGold to find the source of his dreams in Redheart Refuge. A more direct line of action was necessary; he just hoped he would not be branded a traitor for his actions but even if he was, at least his days of taking advantage of those who wished him no harm were over.

Other: During his stay in House WhiteGold, Amon has gained some appreciation for fine arts such as theater and music. He even picked up playing the clarinet while he was there.

My Little Pony 2nd Character

Name: Sunny Orchards

Appearance: Sunny is a bright yellow-skinned pony, just like her name and is bright as the sun. She has an auburn mane that she keeps in a braid on her left side that reaches to her flank. She often wears a frayed, light brown cowboy hat with a broad brim and a dark brown vest with silver tassels on the edges. Sunny is a very athletically built pony with a strong, supple body that makes her look extremely healthy. Slightly smaller than the average pony, she makes up for that though with her strong will and body. Her cutie mark is a lasso in flight.

Race: Earth Pony

Faction: House Earthborn

Skills: As an Appleoosan Ranger Sunny is a master at disruption and capture tactics. Her mastery with the lasso for instance is so magnificent that she has been able to take a pegasus out of the sky in full evasion mode. Able to use smoke bombs to strategically to blind the enemy or hide allied movements there is little she can’t do with these devices to her advantage, she can also modify her smoke bombs to add various effects to them, such as colors, heavier smoke, or even mix in hallucinogens. A decent trap builder as well, quite a few enemy ponies have fallen to her machinations before such as net and rope traps. Quite an athletic and strong earth pony, Sunny is a lot stronger than she looks and is a fantastic hoof fighter and can take on most ponies in a 1 on 1 fight, though of course she is outclassed by heavily armored foes and those who devote themselves to hoof fighting rather than the lasso.

History: Sunny Orchards grew up in House Earthborn on a rancher’s farm with her family and was indoctrinated from a young age about how the land should belong to the Earth Ponies and Pegasi, with no place for the magical powers of the unicorns. She loved working on the ranch and was especially fond of herding cattle and other animals which gave her an excuse to keep improving her lassoing skills. While she continued to improve herself she reached the age of 12 which made her start training for battle for House Earthborn. After the initial years of training Sunny was quickly pressed into the service of the Appleoosan Rangers under commander Braeburn. Sunny liked the feeling of being helpful to her comrades when she took pegasi out of the sky or used smoke bombs to blind the enemy for the earthborn forces to flank them. However as she found herself being used more and more by the military, giving her less time to spend doing what she loved, ranch work, she started to see the grim side of warfare and House Earthborn’s indoctrination.

One of the first times she saw great injustice was when a unicorn stumbled into the camp she was currently employed in. The unicorn was badly injured and needed medical attention so Sunny quickly brought him in; however, before they would even consider patching the unicorn up the captain of the group insisted that the unicorn’s horn be sawed off before they gave the prisoner of war any medical help. Sunny could see the shape the unicorn was in and tried to persuade the captain to reconsider until after he had been stabilized but the captain refused. Sunny could only watch helplessly as the unicorn’s horn was sawn off, the unicorn screamed in pain and his eyes rolled back into his head after the deed was done. The medical personal came in but by that time, blood loss and the trauma of losing his horn had done their work and the unicorn died on the operating cot. Unicorns might be stuck up and arrogant, but refusing to help the dying unicorn just because he had something they did not until it was too late was just not right.

The event changed her outlook on the conflict and she grew suspicious of House Earthborn doctrine. From time to time she would sneak off while on patrol and see what the rest of the troops were up to. It did not take long for her to notice the terrors the army put on populations they passed, often pillaging, wrecking most abodes, hunting down unicorns, and even pressing some ponies into service. The self-righteousness she had felt before, growing up under House Earthborn doctrine about how horn-less ponies were better than their gifted counterparts, had dwindled to almost nonexistence. Feeling distraught and confused, Sunny was unsure of what to do until a certain dream came to her. After considering what she should do, she followed her heart and deserted House Earthborn.

Other: As a testament to her years as a rancher, Sunny learned how to cook over an open fire for those times on the open plains. She is a decent outdoor cook and can brew a mean coffee as well.

A petite 5’3’’ young woman with somewhat short Hylian Ears.


Inheritance: Fire Rod – Capable of channeling her magic powers into fiery blasts which doubles as a lighting tool and a weapon.

Personality: Her magical prowess kind of gets to her head, making this small mage a bit of a narcissist. Stubborn to a fault, she can get exasperating at times. She also possesses a quick and often sharp wit which can put people off quite quickly. Another characteristic is her belief in justice and the destruction of evil, so at least her heart is somewhat in the right place.

Recent history: Descendant of the Oracle Din, Tina is charged with a destiny of keeping evil in check which she takes quite seriously. During her somewhat extensive travels it came to her attention the increased progression of natural disasters, evil rising up, and so on meaning that the land could soon plunge into darkness again. Feeling the call of her Oracle blood Tina has decided to find out the cause of the approaching storm and stop it.

Personal Goal: To become an unstoppable Oracle who can beat back evil without having to rely on others.

Three strengths (Not just combat)
1. Magical Prowess – Tina was born with a great affinity for magic with a large and efficient mana reserve.

2. Fire Affinity – Part of the Din line her powers align greatly with the fire element. This makes fire magic easier than most and she can easily tolerate the heat.

3. Keen Mind – Being an Oracle descendant is not just for show, her mind can work fast and furiously, allowing her to adapt to situations and notice things out of the ordinary.

Three weaknesses (Not just combat)
1. Stubborn – She can be stupidly stubborn, unwilling to change her mind at inappropriate times and may refuse help even when she clearly needs it.

2. Fragile – She is a mage, not a physical fighter. As such while not exactly weak she can easily be overpowered and physical exertion can quickly wear her down. Her height doesn’t really help matters either.

3. Overconfident – Tina is sure of herself, too sure a lot of the time and this overconfidence can get her into trouble, be it battle, a friendly game, and a tendency to believe she alone can do anything.

Greatest Love: Dark Chocolate, totally Divine.

Hates the most: Ironically those who put too much faith in their abilities. [Somehow she does not see this in herself]

Misc: Tina has a tattoo between her should blades that looks like a crystal with a red flame inside of it. [Din's Fire]

Personality: Greedy to a fault, this human turned demon always wants more: More food, more money, more power. She hates anyone who gets in her way, aka magical children, since they prevent her from stealing more stuff. With a ravenous appetite for things and power she wants to become an unstoppable juggernaut and even become a ruler one day. She can be extremely stubborn and persistent when she wants to be, not liking to let go of any goal in sight if she can help it.

Powers:

Corruption: Like any demon she has the power to corrupt humans. The corruption increases at the greatest rate when she is striking her opponents, kind of like pounding the poison into them.

Rock Solid: On top of her natural physical physique is her demonic strength. Capable of lifting cars with relative ease her strength is not to be underestimated. It is useful both for fighting and for taking stuff for herself. She is also quite tough and can take a wrecking ball to the face, well if it doesn’t catch her off guard anyway.

Earth Manipulation: Her demonic power is greatly attuned to the Earth, allowing her to manipulate the ground at least partially to her will. For example: she can cause special tremors by stomping her feet which get directed toward her target to knock them off balance. She can mold the earth, including things such as concrete, to her will in limited quantities and at best 2 meters from her person. This includes things like making the earth jut up like a spear, causing the ground to shift and crack, and fashioning pieces of earth into makeshift projectiles and weapons, like hammers and clubs.

History: Francesca Wells was actually quite an athlete when she was human. She grew up in an ok family, had some issues but nothing she couldn’t handle. From a young age she was interested in sports and pursed them with a passion. Soon enough she was a triathlete, competing in big competitions and holding her own. Then came the sponsors, then came the greed.

It started simply at first, taking some money on the side from the sponsorships, investing a little here and there. One thing led to another, fancy clothes, jewelry, a new car, pretty soon whatever caught her fancy she would go out of her way to get, but it was never enough. As her appetite grew and her tastes grew more expensive she started to really mess around. One day though she messed around too much and exposed some of her illicit dealings to the public.

The community was rightfully, quite appalled at her actions and soon measures were taken against her. Medals were taken away, her sponsors all abandoned her, and her reputation was thoroughly dragged through the mud. Enraged at the ‘injustice’ given to her she went on a bit of a rampage and got arrested. Brought down to Earth with nothing to her name anymore, she was visited by a demon who promised her the power to get back everything that was taken from her.

Feeling it was the only way, she quickly accepted the offer and was transported to the Demon World to be thoroughly corrupted and changed. With all her negative feelings at the time it didn’t take long and soon she was rampaging about as a demon, taking what she wanted without remorse.

Her first action as a new demon was to retrieve the medals that were taken from her, and bash in some heads along the way. She's been at this game now for 3 years.

Zypha is a woman of the world and very down-to-earth. Having grown up with a very rough childhood Zypha quickly learned what it meant to survive and how to lookout for oneself. She can very a very sarcastic individual and is not afraid of being rude or callus, so she can rub people the wrong way fairly easily. Despite these character flaws, and at times selfish attitude, she will fiercely defend her crewmates with all her ferocity when they are threatened by others.

Zypha also possesses a very strong will and is actually quite clever. She has a strong resolve to keep bettering herself in combat and learning, so she will often try something new if she thinks it would be beneficial to herself or the crew. Zypha is also willing to go to great lengths and take serious chances if she believes the result to be worth it.

Devil Fruit/ Weapon of expertise:

Zypha’s choice of weapon is a twin Chain-Scythe. The Scythe blades are black with a dark blue triangle pattern across the edged-side of the blades. The blades are long and curved on their ‘business’ ends with short spike-like edges on the opposite side making both sides quite dangerous. The handles are made of essentially dark brown ironwood, polished to perfection with some of the traditional ‘imperfections’ and patterns that wood based pieces have. A dark blue chain connects the twin scythe at the ends of the handles, making the weapon not only a deadly pseudo-projectile but also a potential grappling hook, among other uses.

(A character I deeply liked but...a certain important detail about the religion she was made to be a part of made me unable to role play her any further. I tried to think of a way around it but felt any attempts at such would destroy her character. You are remembered fondly, at least by me.)

Name: Juliana Rose Silvern

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance: Her Armor. Juliana stands at 5'7" and has a smaller bust than in the picture XD. Also when not wearing her armor, wears clothing much more suitable for nobles like dresses and such.

Personality: Her loyalty to her family is absolute and she would do nearly anything to bring honor to their name. She is also a firm believer in the Iron Rose Knight’s duty to protect and serve. The weak are to be protected and it is the strong’s duty to be defenders; therefore, when someone who is weak is trying to protect the results can be disastrous. This belief makes Juliana feel that the inexperienced Fanilly is unfit to be captain and so someone more suited to the task should take her place, like herself.

Raised in a noble household Juliana knows the art of ‘masks’ yet is not afraid to let her feelings be known. Her distain for the old traditional way of choosing a captain is hardly veiled, but she will not let those feelings get in the way of her knightly duties. She can seem full of herself at times but she genuinely wants what is best for her country and wants to protect people with all her heart.

Brief Backstory: Juliana was born to the noble household of Silvern, a very prominent family in Thaln. Their noble ‘stock’ grew after the rebellion of Phoran Cal as they were one of the greatest supporters of the Iron Rose Knights. The Silvern household has kept its affairs close to the Iron Rose Knights and while they support the knights fully, they also are very staunch supporters for doing away with the old tradition of choosing the captain from young girls born under a full moon.

Her family had planned to give birth to her under a full moon but due to some complications in birth she was born as the moon started waning again. The idea had been to get a girl into the position first; making it rather easy to change the system from within, but this was not to be the case. Still her parents were not about to give up and so started to raise her up to be the next captain despite the fact that by tradition she was no longer eligible for the position.

Raised with the best tutors nobles could buy, Juliana was molded into a great warrior and noble. Being devout followers of Mayon Juliana found herself gravitating toward the paladins of Mayon and incorporated their more defensive type battle style into her own. While her training was focused on the battlefield she did not neglect her noble daughter duties and is accomplished in the political field as well. Her parents made sure to give their daughter the opportunity to grow socially as well so as to gather favor with the other nobles to strengthen her position.

Equipment: Juliana wears ornamented plate armor with chainmail mesh underneath to increase mobility and reduce friction. Her standard equipment is a large shield in her left and a long sword in her right

Skills: Juliana has been taught the traditional art of sword and shield with an emphasis being on using the shield effectively to punish her opponents while defending herself. Bashing, parrying, or even just pushing her opponent with her large shield are integral parts of her training then using her sword to finish off her opponent.

Outside of combat she is an accomplished dancer, socialite, and rider. Essentially skills designed to make her look like the ideal noblewoman and captain material.
