Dylan Caercot
Dylan was unsure as ever when he was getting in position to attack. He had no idea how well this was going to work, nor did he have any idea how well he would do at this. He was new to the whole fighting thing, and he had only ever practiced on wooden dummies. Never people or things that could move. Much less things that could fight back. But he launched right into an attack the second the signal was given, but he let the dragon and the wyvern rider get into it just a little ahead of him, since they obviously had a good deal more training than Dylan did. Once the battle was on its way, the Pegasus rider found himself facing off with a man armed with a spear, clearly confident in his ability to take down a man riding a Pegasus. Or he was able to see how new Dylan was to this, and wished to take advantage of it.Regardless, the soldier's first attack came no where near the Pegasus or it's rider, as Dylan saw it coming and pulled Andromeda out of the way. He then attempted to attack back, giving his all into a powerful stab aimed at his opponent's chest. The blow, to his amazement, landed. But instead of running the soldier through, it only pierced his shoulder. The man attacked again once he managed to pull away from the hit, and this time his stab cut into Dylan's retreating shoulder, causing him to yell out. While he had been cut before by sharp objects, this hurt far more than anything Dylan had ever experienced. Despite this, Dylan steeled himself against the pain and attacked again, stabbing downwards at the soldier a second time. However, this time the Soldier managed to avoid the attack, and Dylan almost fell off the Pegasus avoiding the counterattack. This man clearly had more practice in a fight then Dylan had ever had, and he gritted his teeth as he prepared to attack again. He was only barely managing to ignore the pain in his shoulder.
