Character Goals:To give a look into what Jason's life as Robin could have been like. To make a Robin who completely idolizes Batman, his goal in life to inherent the mantle when the time comes. To make the Robin who loves Bruce above all, the man who saved his life from a life of abuse and a early death. And who would ultimately feel betrayed as he would lay on the cold stone floor, a mad man laughing at him as he could feel his breath slowing down for the last time. His hero not there to help him. That he in the end would be alone.
Needless to say, I am aiming at showing a more tragic version of Jason. But I am aiming at having one hell of a time getting to the tragedies.
Sample Post:Jason had been spending the evening playing video games in the mansion. He was currently playing a racing game, shouting at Alfred if he “should ask Bruce if he could drive the Batmobile like this.” Bruce was working late at the company this evening and Robin would head out on patrol alone. He almost preferred to be out alone, he could deal with things how he saw fit without Bruce trying to teach him some moral lesson.
He had been Robin for a couple of months now, and he was growing accustomed to the title. He had gotten to know Gotham again, and his knowledge of the criminals in Gotham helped with his crime fighting. Jason put down the controller, closing the console and heading into the dining area.
“Yo, Alfie. We got any snacks? I'm hungry.” He asked, Alfrid gave a light shout from up the stairs “There should be some energy bars in the fridge, Master Todd.”
“Cheers bud.” Jason replied, heading to the kitchen to dig out his pre-crime fighting snack.
He grabbed a couple energy bars and headed down to the batcave. Chewing on one of them as he found his way down the cold steps, the chill of the cave being refreshing. It gave him chills heading towards the glass case that held his costume. His fingers dancing on the glass as he put in the code to the lock and opened it up. He smiled as he took out the mask, follwed by taking the whole costume and put it on the table next to the bat computer. Removing his shirt he got changed. He was tying the gloves in place as he put his fingers over the mask. It's black surface had some scratches in it, shrapnel, blades and bullets had all graced the mask in it's life, yet it had always protected the wearer. The mask's wearer must've been lucky.
Jason scoffed as he put the mask on, the hud powering up and recognizing him as the wearer, the mask tightening around his face to allow for optimal comfort and utility. He chalked the luck of the mask to good karma, he did, like Dick Grayson had before him, save plenty of lives.
The mask's hud lit up with a notification. Bank robbery in Gotham, street gang going risky. Four criminals had been reported entering the bank by blowing a hole in the roof. They weren't amateurs, in other words. It was followed with a text message from Bruce telling him to be careful.
Jason scoffed and turned the notification off. Robin got on the japanease crouch rocket that he called the R-Wing, that he himself had built for transportation. Unlike the batmobile it wasn't teched out and proved essentially useless in a combat situation. But it made due for transportation from the cave to the city.
Putting on the red Helmet the engine roared as he revved it, making a wheelie on his way out of the cave.
