Main Earth Tower and City
The year is roughly 3590 Earth Time and Earth is living in post a Post-Apocalyptic state as well as a Technological Based Advanced Society. The emergence of Talents nearly one thousand years before drove a rift between an already divided population. The Great War caused the rise of dormant abilities in Earthlings and suddenly children during the time were finding that they were protecting themselves using various forms of Telepathy, Psychokinesis and Psychic Talents. Governments scrambled to harness these powers and the lands became dotted with Hitleresque regimes that were tasked with the capture, experimentation and exploitation of these children. Many perished but some thrived and were trained as killers.
It did not take long for the world to fall to ruin because of the harsh treatment of Talents. Many revolted to the abuse and began to fight back. Destruction and chaos soon ensued and it quickly drove the planet to a desolate wasteland dotted with battlefields scared with the power these Talents possessed. Yet no war can last forever. Stronger Talents began to cry out in their sleep, having no knowledge or training to control their abilities, and their thoughts went out to the rest of the galaxy. Other talents soon answered their call and First Contact occurred. With the help of various races, previously unknown to Earth, Talents were trained and educated on how to use their abilities for more than offensive measures.
After years of rebuilding, Earth became a mining planet and was able to begin trade with the rest of the Galaxy. Utilizing the Talents and newly found materials buried deep in the Earths crust, the people were able to draw the attention of Galactic Telekinetic Communications or GTC. GTC was tasked with the job of building communication towers that employed various Talents and used their ability to transport large space craft to various jump points throughout the galaxy. This opened trade for Earth and bring much needed supplies to the planet.
GTC is the lone controlling entity in the Galaxy over all tapped worlds. Utilizing its sway over each tower it has grown quickly and no planet can flourish without it, especially those that are mining planets. It controls the supply of food, medical, technology and Talents. Over the centuries, it has become what so many Governments in the past did with absolute power, corrupt. Talents that run each Main Tower for a planetary system have become beings that are above the law, flaunting their abilities and wreaking havoc on LIP, Local Indigenous Populations. Lead Run Gringer, who is the head of the GNC and strongest known Talent, is unrelenting in his pursuit of power and domination.
Thankfully most Talents are compassionate and well-meaning but being lost in a system that favors the cruel there is little they can do. While Talents in general are strong willed and determined, most lack the basic social skills for unification to over throw the GTC and help bring balance and fairness back to the Galaxy.

This story begins on one such planet, Altenia. The planet itself is barren with only a few locations of lush greenery dotted throughout the terrain. A solid rock planet in the middle of the Galaxy, it provides only two assets to the GTC. One is its strong military position. Being located where it is, its tower is responsible for catching transports from one end of the Galaxy and launching them to the other. The second asset is possesses and its most valuable one is its Crystals.
Talents of the highest rank are strong, and many are capable of transporting ships from one side of their own Solar System to another without issue. The problem comes when breaking through the pull of one sun and launching a ship into the space between Systems. Crystals help amplify a Talents ability. Not all crystals are created equally though and Altenia is one of the few known planets that have been able to produce large high quality Black Crystals that are used to power and enhance the abilities of Tower Leads.
Tower Lead Tristan Debute runs all things on Altenia and is an egotistical and overbearing oaf that enjoys making things difficult on the LIP. Even though complaints have been made in the past, none get passed him to the main GTC and even if they did, Talents strong enough to run a tower are few and far between. Since he has yet to lead to the death of anyone the GTC considers important, they would do little unless a direct complaint from an equal was made. Even then, at most he would be shipped to another location.
The Altenians in general cannot stand him but they get by, the ones that suffer the most though are the Brax’na. A Spartanlike culture that has yet to embrace the technology that is available to them and are more comfortable of the old ways they have passed down through the generations. Preferring to live off the land as best they can and keeping to themselves, though due to the amount of mining that happens on the planet they have come to rely on the GTC for even the most basic of needs. The only reasons they are even cared for is because they help the miners locate new Crystals, having an advanced knowledge of the terrain, one they refuse to give openly to the GTC, and because of long ago established rules and regulations involving the preservation of LIP on all planets the GTC are involved with. Earth Year 3590, with the arrival of new Tower Lead in Training Silvia Adenias, who is to learn how to fully run a tower from Tristan Debute and then move on to another tower to take over for one that is retiring.
Players may choose to play a Talent of Various strengths, a local Altenian, A Brax’Na , or any one of various other humanoid species from throughout the galaxy(As long as an acceptable background is provided of your race and planet.)
This RP will begin with dealing with Altenia and then progressing through other Towers to overthrow the corrupt GTC and eventually Lead Run Gringer. Your typical they’re bad, we’re good, let’s fix this RP. I know, oh so original.

Talent Ranks:
T-13 through T-6: Less powerful talents. Used for moving heavy machinery to locations, building materials into place for workers to be able to use, short range teleportation within a single land mass. These are usually in the muck workers who oversee mining operations at a single location before transporting goods to Towers for processing and shipping off world. They can also be found in the military section of GTC and help patrol and keep the peace on various planets when needed, being ground troops and first strike options.
T-5 through T-3: Stronger talents that can be used both in and out of towers. They are usually a bit less likely to want to get their hands dirty and prefer the luxuries that a Tower can provide. They can usually be found within the Tower processing transports and docking ships for repairs or in various other levels of a tower taking care of much needed support work. Hey can also be found in the higher ranks of the GTC Military Section, usually being pilots for transports and fighter units that protect said transports.
T-2: Being one of the strongest Talents they will be found on the main floor of the Tower Operation System, providing back up for T-1’s when they need a day off or during night shifts while the Tower Lead sleeps. They always work in pairs and most commonly are found in sets of Paternal Twins, having a strong enough connection mentally and emotionally to combine their talents and be able to keep up with the day to day grind of a T-1. They are also responsible for keeping the staff under control for T-1’s since their social skills are far more developed.
All Talents up to and including T-2 are not formally trained until they are at least 16 years of age. The GTC preferring to let them get out their childish antics and mental growth done before they are bombarded with training.
T-1: The strongest and rarest of Talents. They are trained from a young age, usually having their strength picked up by scouts of the GTC before they are five years of age. These talents do not get the luxury of growing up at home with their family and friends. They are pushed into training at such a young stage, most develop an anti-social personality and have a hard time dealing with anyone but other T-1’s. Sadly though due to ego, most T-1’s prefer to deal with each other on a minimal basis.
T-1 training is rigorous and only slightly more than half of all discovered T-1’s ever graduate. Many go insane during training and they become a subclass of Talent known as Singers.
Sub Classes of Talents include the following:
Empaths: These can range from low level Talents up to T-3, they are good at dealing with people and are usually found either in embassies where they are responsible for smoothing out rough times with LIP or in Infirmaries throughout the Galaxy working as Nurses, Doctors and Surgeons. A select few are stationed with the Military Section as Corpsmen or Interrogators.
Singers: These are failed T-1’s, having been either driven insane during the training or just do not possess the needed skills to be a Tower Lead. Singers are trained to use their abilities to seek out Crystals when a vein is found and to cut it out without damaging it. They are also responsible for shaping the Crystals to be able to be put into use. They are more mercenary than any of the others and while employed by the GTC they demand their own pay for each Crystal they bring back.

These come in various shapes and colors and help Talents increase the effectiveness of their abilities.
Examples:
Blacks: are the rarest and most powerful, large ones being used in Towers to help power them and allow Tower Leads to be able to create the jumps needed for cross-system transport. If a Singer is able to successfully cut one of sufficient size, they can retire. Smaller black crystals are used to power smaller locations or mini towers that may be placed on moons. Since lower level talents can be utilized on these locations they dare not waste the larger Black Crystals on these locations.
Cool Toned: Crystals of Blue, Green and Purple Hues are utilized for their energy and end up powering various stations, buildings, on planet transportation and general power throughout a world. They can be harnessed quickly and can be used in tandem with others of like cut, color, and size to create stronger energy to power entire mega cities.
Warm Tones: Crystals of Red, Orange, and Yellow are used for 2 main purposes. They are either utilized in hospitals, doctors offices and infirmaries by Empaths to help keep them focused during long shifts as well as enhancing their powers to better be able to detect what is wrong with a patient and the best course of action. Some Empaths can tap into the crystals and use them as a focal point to be able to heal minor wounds or to stop the bleeding in some instances with trauma patients. This makes them invaluable in Trauma Centers and on the Battle Field for Corpsmen. The other use is in weaponry. They are can be found in various weapon systems both in Towers and on space craft and are used to create high powered and explosive attacks when needed.
Draw Backs To Crystals:
For Singers: Singers use their mind but also their voices to harmonize with a crystal when it is mined. This helps them “speak” to the crystal and allows them to bond with it on some level, allowing the Singer to carve the Crystal to its optimal state. Most singers end up going completely mad over a time. The longer they are out in the wild mining and carving the further from reality they drift. The Call Of The Crystal has taken more than one Singer and reduced them to nothing more than a shadow of their former self, curled and laughing manically in the psych ward of hospitals.
For Military: Those using crystals as weapons tend to slowly slip into a Sociopathic state over time. Feeling the wrath and despair the crystal can cause. Most that are used for weapons have a revolving staff that are stationed for short term periods to help ensure that one of the Talents does not go rogue.
For Empaths: They can handle the crystals the longest. They seem to have a barrier, or even an understanding, of the crystals. Some will bong with a particular Crystal and harness its powers over a lifetime. Those that are able to form this strongest bond are usually found in the very psych wards of broken Singers, helping them come out of false reality their life style has caused. Though usually not very effective, they at least can usually bring a peace to the Singers that is far better than a lobotomy.
For Leads – Tower Leads will bond at a young age with a large Black Crystal, one that will become its only Crystal for a lifetime. Once a T-1 is trained fully as a lead its Black Crystal will be sent to each tower they run over the years. Due to the strong bond a Lead forms with its Crystal they cannot stand to be away from it for an extended period of time, many towers having to ship in a new Lead and their own personal crystal if the Towers Lead decides to go on vacation for more than a week. Even if a Tower Lead takes a small vacation that is only on planet or even on the planets moon, they will slowly begin to suffer from various aliments until they are back working with their own Crystal. On the plus side, Tower Leads with a strong bond to their Black Crystal seem to get the benefit of an extended life, living well to the age of 200 before needing to retire and eventually succumb to old age.

Other Races will be considered for the Rp, as long as you provide a details description of their look, background, home world, etc.
Earthling – This is your typical human, can be from any ethnic background on Earth. Standard abilities and skills that would come from being human, your average Joe, though due to the wars even humans with no talents have become tougher over all, a bit stronger and stand taller than they do in modern settings.
Example:
Altenians – The main race on Altenia. They stand between 5 feet and 8 feet tall. They are all humanoid creatures but they vary from region to region on the planet, having more animalistic features than Earthlings. They are reminiscent of the mythological were-creatures of Earth. The animal traits vary greatly but have not been studied in-depth by GTC.
Example:
Brax’Na – They are not indigenous to Altenia but since they have not been heavily researched, little is known of their planet of origin. Their race has been on Altenia as far back as written record can tell but they have always kept to themselves and refuse to speak much to outsiders. With the way Tristan treats them, it doesn’t look like that will change soon. As of to date, no Brax’Na has ever been found to be a Talent. They seem to be repulsed by them. They stand at a minimal of 6 foot 7 inches and reach heights of 8 foot. They are built with thick bones and strong muscles. Skin tones range from Olive to Chocolate and their eyes are Amber in color. They live in a single colony around fifty miles from the Tower and keep to themselves. They are one of the few known LIP in the galaxy to have been able to keep from being assimilated into the GTC culture and government. They are governed by their own council of elders and a single leader that changes out from time to time. Trial by Combat to the death, is the only way to become the leader of the Brax’Na. A very old world culture that only has men in the place of power, they are not likely to take kindly to a Female Lead Talent on the Planet, even if they only have to deal with her sporadically.
Example:
Bast'ian - The planet of Bast'i is primarily a water world, where nearly 98% percent of the world is covered in deep ocean salt water. It is almost a mirror image of Altenia. What little land mass there remains is used by the GNC for the tower itself and training facilities. The people of Bast'i vary greatly in their look but all have a blue hue to their skin and it is either smooth of scaly. and their eyes glow. Depending on how deep under the surface depends on how much their eyes glow. The deeper, the stronger the illumination. They are an elitist society and cannot stand any of their own planetary race. Their world provides cool hued crystals to the rest of the galaxy, which makes is one of the more important planets. It also has one of the highest ratio of Talents born per population sample. Nearly 80% of all Bast'i have some form of talent though for the numbers of talents they produce, they produce a low level of T-1's in comparison.
Example:
Zyxoth (Elf) - Zyxoths hail from the planet Zesneon and would look like most typical elves. Long pointy ears and usually long hair and live a bit longer then humans ,but they are not immortal. They do age and they do die. A typical Zyxoth lives for about 200 to 250 years old. Even more if they became a tour lead and bonded with a large black crystal. They stand about from 7 to 8 feet tall and most aren't built to be very physique although there is a rare few who do build up their body. They tend to weigh around the same as a average healthy human being. There is not much unique to them only that they have a more clear and openned mentality making powers involving the mind much more clearer and less prone to madness. Not saying that there isnt a single Zyxoth who has not gone mad from using crystals. Infact Zyxoths being more attuned to psychic chanels makes them more easier to succumb to madness over long extents of use. They where rather giddy when the GNC came around. A corporation that actually utilizes mind power so to speak. Zyxoth's instantly accepted them with open arms enrolling their own into its infrastructer

Galactic Telekinetic Communications or GNC for short is the main governing body of the known galaxy currently. It is not a political entity, though it acts like ones. It is a large corporation that has gained power throughout the centuries. GNC started out as a small communications developer on Bast’i nearly a thousand years ago. When Talents began to emerge, it began to change and as travel opened up to them throughout the rest of the galaxy it acquired more and more power, slowly building itself up and replacing a galaxy wide government with a corporation. Most all in the galaxy now work for the GNC in one form or another and rebellion is usually dealt with swiftly and harshly, no forgiveness. They have a vast network of transportation, energy provisions and military divisions that keeps them at the forefront of everything in the known Galaxy.
Most in the GTC are decent enough, just trying to survive and thrive, though at the top of the GNC is a different story. It is overseen by ruthless and uncaring individuals from all over the galaxy that only look to line their own pockets and keep the people in check. There are numerous rules and regulations in place meant to keep people content enough to keep working but broke enough not to be able to get outside the grasp of the GTC. Talents possess the power to lead a rebellion but none as of yet have been mentally strong enough, ironic isn’t it, to stand up and do so. Each planet under GTC domination is left to its own devices as long as quotas are meant but should they fall short the GTC quickly comes in with its military force and punishes the local people until the quotas are met.
Few diplomatic organizations remain currently, ones that used to ensure that all planets were treated fairly. The only reason the GTC allows such organizations to remain is in fear of a greater power. The Universal Federation over sees all both within this galaxy and all others. Should the GTC lose control and the people united against the unfair treatment on many planets the U.F. would step in but even during inspections, the people are so afraid to speak up, nothing but rumors and unprovable accusations have been heard. Leaving the U.N. politically unable to step in without stepping on their own foundation and the very rules they carry out.

* All standard RP Rules Apply
* All characters must be posted here and approved
* Characters need to be stationed at the Altenian Tower to begin, with a history of why they are there.
* Looking for 1 member to Rp the head of the Brax'Na tribe
* Have common sense and decency here.
* Multiple characters will be allowed after initial posts are made if a player wishes.
* None specific NPCS are fine - As long as they are not a high rank or in a place of power.
* Please do not turn the world into a battle ground that resembles a DBZ battle. There will be fights and battles in this RP but this is a more diplomatic RP, so they will be few and far between.
* New Races are fine, as long as a background and history is provided for the race itself.
* Have a question - ASK. I am pretty laid back with Gming, open to subplots, monkey wrenches, romances, etc. Long as you run it by me I usually have no issue.
* No pouting. I do enjoy throwing monkey wrenches into RPs, so you may find this happens. Please be warned that it can and will happen.
* Characters can die, it happens. If you have a character you love that you think would play well in this RP but are afraid of them going the way of the DoDo bird, please inform me. If you create a character for this RP and end up falling in love with it, let me know. If you want to create a character to kill off, again let me know. I do try to be accommodating.
* Romances are fine, just keep it smut free, post a taking it to pm and then return.
* Forewarning - I do tend to post flowery overly poetic posts if the mood strikes. It does pass and usually does not happen in a Sci-Fi setting but hey. I'm rusty, it could pop up. Just roll your eyes and move on.

*Unless GM says it happened it didn't happen. Please do not assume your character knows certain things unless they have been said in RP.
*When a character posts inner dialog other characters do not know this so please do not include a reaction to this in your posts.
*T-1 Privacy is a closely guarded things, very much is known about T-1's, even between T-1's themselves unless they have a close connection. Rumors fly. Base Details are provided by GNC - Name, rank, home planet
*Posts will come in rotation - so hold your posts until your turn in rotation comes up. There will be times for free posting - such as when two characters are interacting quickly for dialog - Denote ~Free Post~ at the top of your post if this is the case. Rotation will be determined after all have posted intro post in RP. Rotation will be posted after that. (At the end of a free post moment, all rotation goes back to normal.)
*Co-Op posting is encouraged. This can be done in PM or Google Docs. (If you do not know what Co-op is, basically you rp out the scene with an RP partner elsewhere, then put the posts together and throw them up here as a single post with a note ~Co-Op W/whoever) These are great to keep posts streamlined and allow you to RP a moment out without flooding the IC with short posts.
*Co-Op Posts are preferred to Free Posts.
