How do I hyperlink?

Y'know, when you provide a link but the URL is replaced with words that take you to the site? Need help, I've always wanted to know how to. Anyone? It would be very much appreciated.

It's actually in the "Formatting Cheatsheet" at the bottom of every page:
[url=example.com]Click me[/url]
