@21308

No worries, take your time. Kronshi is doing the vacation anyway so we might be focusing more away from Bloodstone and Chromite anyway. Spinel for now we can assume her to be somewhere in the Kindergarten ^_^ it all works out. Try not to rush yourself

Original Eve's dark side was that she put what she wants to do over everything else. Beyond reason, beyond expectations, beyond anything. And it often ended in disaster, and often it hurt others. But to her that didn't matter. This made her quite possibly the most unreliable gem -or any character for that matter- that I ever made. Nothing could tie her down.
Freedom (n.): To ask nothing. To expect nothing. To depend on nothing."

As for current Eve, I'm not sure which direction she'll be heading in, because though she is showing very mild signs of the above, she's also showing signs of attachment, if not also very mild, to others, which is something previous Eve did not have, or rather, no longer does. This could change a lot because as original Eve did not feel any loyalty or attachment to a group, person, or cause, which is a big part of the reason why she can act so freely without remorse or shame. There's no telling how she's going to develop, but I think self-deprecation might very well end up being a thing.

I honestly don't know about Aquamarine. I know she can be over emotional but other than that I am not sure how she is going to turn out negative wise.

Sodalite's character has always been about the same, considering that I made her not so long ago. Her dark side ties into her good personality trait. She wants the truth. However, she will stop at nothing to get the truth, and would even be willing to hurt those around her in order to feed her desire for real knowledge.

@Akayaofthemoon I know Eve's going to have more than one negative for her, but I don't know what her defining one will be yet. Again, no idea how she'll develop.

And I want to see Aquamarine's dark side now... >:D

@AkayaofthemoonWhat about dementia? She obvious cares a lot for the gems, but what if it were to spiral into something maddening? It'd slowly become less and less about earth, and more about protecting her little Kindergarten gems?

@pyroman The reason why Original Eve and Current Eve are so drastically different in many aspects is simply just that Original Eve is much older has gone through many more experiences much different from that of Current Eve, which has shaped her into a different person. Current Eve's experiences are pretty limited and she hasn't developed fully yet, and I like to think that prior to the events that have made Original Eve who she is, they'd be pretty identical in nature. However, there are always some key traits that simply aren't going to change no matter what.

Also, why do I have the horrible, horrible feeling that Sodalite's quest for the truth is going to end up really hurting a lot of people in the future?

@pyroman Also, I hate to be that person, but I don't think dementia is the correct term for this...Dementia refers to a group of disorders that impair memory and thinking process. Alzheimer's disease is one form of dementia, for example.

@LoonyNo worries! I couldn't think of the right word, and Dimentia just sort of appeared in it's place.

Eve losing her shit when Sodalite is found with Bloodstone because she accused Reggie's reasons as shallow of simply not joining Bloodstone over a hurt ego and doubts his loyalty, and yet she goes to join Bloodstone over simply wanted to know more about the past? Remember that Eve doesn't give a crap about what happened before her so this reasoning is one of the most shallow she can think of because to her the details of the past are trivial.

Oh god if this crap happens what if they eventually are going to be at each other's gems. And I'm sorry to say this, Eve, but you're fragile. You could probably strike Sodalite directly in the gem a good few times before it even cracks, but one hit to your gem and you're going to shatter, sweetie. Sucks to be you.

@pyroman It's just...It wasn't the right word, and it sort of makes me feel a little gross on the inside when people use disorders as adjectives. It's just because my friends, family (and I myself) have some and it seems to sort of trivialize it in a way. In fact dementia runs on my mother's side so there's a good chance I'm going to end up with it when I'm older as well Orz Afndkfdksgds I hope I'm not making you feel bad, I just felt I needed to correct it. ;_______; I'm sorry please ignore me I have no idea what I'm saying anymore.

@Akayaofthemoon As someone who is ridiculously over emotional, I can list a gazillion ways as to why it's bad and how it can turn out bad. It's literally the one trait I hate most about myself, the one thing about myself I can't stand. And I'm not a person who hates easily.

@Loony No worries!

Sodalite defending herself but still remaining somewhat antagonistic because of her easy decision to switch sides in her hunt for the truth and how to survive in the future by using all past failures in both gem and human history, while also making it clear that she isn't just going to switch to which team may be winning at the moment.

It'll be a difficult battle for sure, especially with Soda's polar fighting styles. Eve would have to keep the heat on Sodalite at all times to keep her from switching to offence.

Bwah I'm still sorry I feel like one of those people who makes a big deal out of everything but it's a subject that touches the lives of myself and those around me so ;_______; sorry

Evenkite not giving a crap about any of this justification and feeling so incredibly betrayed, and uttering the three words she rarely dares utter. But in past tense.
"I trusted you."
Those words are going to hit eveyone like a stone, I'm telling you now.

I honestly don't think Eve could stand much of a chance against Sodalite if the really were in a serious fight. Remember that Eve's fighting style relies heavily on keeping distance, and with Sodalite, who's much more up close, it's going to be incredibly hard to do so. A pike is not a weapon you want to be using in close quarters, and I doubt she'd still have access to the sword (to her, more like a dagger to others) that Sodalite said she could use way back in the beginning of the RP.

On a random note, I find it funny how the three gems that Evenkite dislikes most as of right now all have the same Mohs scale hardness.
In order:
Evenkite: 1
Amber: 2-2.5
Chromite: 5.5
Sodalite: 5.5-6
Melanite, Bloodstone: 6.5-7
Zircon: 7.5
Aquamarine, Emerald, and Spinel: 7.5-8

Save Amber and Eve they are fragile children abfgdjkbfdsjkj

@LoonyDon't worry about it, we all get like that sometimes.

Sodalite standing there in silence for a few good moments, much more effected about those three words than she had expected to be. She knew that it was true. She was hurt inside, and she felt like a hyprocrite, but she couldn't tell Evenkite. it would ruin everything.
"I know." Were the only words she could get out before turning and walking towards Bloodstone's ship. She wanted to drown herself in information for as long as she could, and wished that Evenkite would understand when she came back.

I'm sure by that time, Sodalite would have gifted the dagger to her. It'd be a great scene to see Evenkite use the weapon that Sodalite gave her when they first met.

Uhg I'm still sorry though > ~ <

"And I hope you also know that I regret having done so. Because you do not and did not deserve my trust. Nor did you deserve my friendship." The words are cold, steel cold, ice cold. No one would ever guess that there were tears in her eyes as she said this, turning her back against Sodalite before she could notice. She sharply dug her nails into the palms of her hands, hoping the pain would distract her before she really started crying. Eve whispers to herself, over and over,"You're an idiot. You're an idiot. You're such a fucking idiot." She sounds furious. The kicker? She's not talking about Sodalite.

She's talking about herself.

That might give her a better chance, but again, if Sodalite lands one blow, just one blow, on Eve's left ankle, it's over. It's over for good.
