@Pathfinder Ugh I'm jealous of you, Alaska would be so much nicer than this muggy hell-hole right now.

@LizLegend Huh, I'm technically in the Midwest too but it must not be the same part because I'm an hour ahead of you.

Alaska is pretty great but its got a moody temperament, we had a sizable earthquake today and the mosquitoes are total bastards

@Pathfinder You think 80 degrees is bad? It's not unheard of for it to get over 100 here and it's so humid I'm surprised Ohioans haven't been classified as aquatic creatures. And... and this has nothing to do with anything, but recently crawdads have been crawling out of our local ponds and other places where crawdads shouldn't be.

It was 100 here today >.< we need rain or something since the heat is killing me. I suffer from heat exhaustion easily so I have to be careful and stay near fans or drink lots of water which is a pain!

You may be used to heat and I'll concede to that but try dealing with 10 to negative 10 during our winters.

@Akayaofthemoon I can kind of relate, it gets nearly as bad here and we almost never have the air on. It doesn't help that my family has been invested in some really bizarre home improvement project that requires a ton of furniture-involved heavy lifting which pretty much solely falls to me.

@Pathfinder ...Okay, maybe I'm not that jealous of you.

That we are, which is another reason I would love some rain. Cool down the heat, give us the rain we desperately need and rain is my favorite weather.

:P

It could be worse, I could live in the bush where the sun doesn't set for a month in the summer and doesn't rise for a month in the winter. They got the crazy weather. In Fairbanks it regularly gets to negative forty but they have like no windchill, so us in Anchorage get a fair deal of coldness. You get used to it.

Our AC broke right before summer so lots of fans because it is an old system and no one seems to know what they are doing >.<

Bummer, I love rain too. Unless its lightning rain, the amount it rains during those storms is ridiculous. Its like every raindrop wants to kick your ass.

Anyway I gotta give props to whoever made Aquamarine, she's pretty. I think Johnny is gonna have a crush down the road.

@Pathfinder Hmm part of me still kind of wants to move there someday because I'd rather deal with extreme cold on a regular basis than ever again deal with oppressive heat. I guess cold just seems more avoidable than heat if you don't care for it at the moment, just find something to wrap yourself in.

@Akayaofthemoon 0_0 OK that actually sounds horrific. My family hasn't used the AC once this summer but it's at least comforting to know we've got it.

@21308

Yeah, I've always liked winter more than summer. I get to complain about it but its good to wrap up with a blanket or bud and just watch movies, talk, or bask in each others warmth. That last one helps because I'm like a furnace while my friends are like corpses, they leach heat of me like thermal vampires.

I can't say I agree but that is because I use to live in Texas and am use to that kind of weather. You can walk down a street on a sunny day then boom, random thunderstorm/ Lightening and then it is gone like it never happened XD You are just stuck in it.

They are definitely a great artist. I give them much props
