"Nononononono, You are very beautiful Aqua, I just don't like people I know to see my more. . . romantic side. It's kinda embarrassing, and I'm glad that you stop me when you did. I can get a bit . . . forward with my advances, not physically mind you but, . . . well, I wouldn't repeat anything I was planning to say to you in front of any of the younger gems, that's for sure."

*Scrathes the back of his head in a nervous manner, then hears Blood's voice. Takes one look, gives a very fearful gulp, then bolts out of the Temple so fast that he leaves a dust trail.*

@AkayaofthemoonYeah, good luck trying to sneak that out of Reggie, especially now that Alt. Blood is keeping an eye on him. Reggie got bored easily as a kid, so he read a lot to pass the time. One of the things that he happened to be exposed to at an early age because of boredom and a lot of places to hide in a big mansion, were his Mom's romance novels. He got kinda hooked on them, actually, and has taken to talking like he's in one whenever he tries to flirt. It's harmless enough at first, but the longer he talks . . . the steamy the conversation is likely to get.

Getting that look for Soapstone could be done for the same if I did a female version. However, getting that look entirely took a lot of trial and error due to the avatar having three separate tops combining into one kind of decent looking cohesive suit.

*hears Blood's voice and freezes, turning to look at him as Reggie ran off...a trail of dust the only sign he was ever there. Giggles nervously, not really planning the other to see her like this*

@AkayaofthemoonUnfortunately, due to the make-up of the current cast, I'll have to say that the chance of that happening for is very, very, very, very low, as the only other human female is taken by Mars, and the only gem I could really see him with is maybe Carnelian, but then again, I don;t see that as a high possibly as I don't think their personalities would mesh well and Reggie doesn't see Gems in much of a romantic light. If you ask me, it's the colored skin that makes it hard for him to find himself physically attracted to gem in a romantic sense. He can say they'r beautiful and mean it, but it'd be the same way you find a painting or statue beautiful. Hope that makes sense.

They are unique and thus beautiful but humans having trouble seeing past their skin to feel that romance is not surprising seeing as how humans have trouble looking past skin in real life sometimes without adding in the fact that the Gems would out live their love is another hard thought. Greg even had trouble remembering Rose wasn't like him sometimes in the beginning because her skin looked human like and she had so much emotion. I admit it is hard to see Reggie being romantic with anyone in the cast so far which is sad because I think I would actually enjoy seeing that.

Well, I can always bring up the topic of Soapstone's view of romance and love. First of all, he has no idea what that is in the first place since the only person he had been talking to is himself. Secondly, when he does figure out the meaning of love, I'm pretty sure it would be a rare occasion if he even genuinely likes a person, tolerating their presence wherever the two may be at the moment. I don't know, maybe I'm being a little too harsh on him, but I know for a fact that if Soapstone doesn't yell at you or sigh in exasperation when you enter the same room as him while he is testing things, you can safely assume that you are on good terms with him.

Edit: Basically Soapstone liking someone is pretty gosh darn rare, but loving someone is out of the question for him. I don't think he would have a big enough heart to even support something like that.

Hmmm that would make a lot of sense for Soapstone actually. I mean, he likes being alone which kind of would make love and romance hard. If he was to at least like a person or feel comfortable to be in their presence when ever they were around then I could see it possibly head in that direction but it would be surprising until that point. Good terms could lead to friendship but it would be hard to say if it would lead to more.
